Hello

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Ohforfoxsake · 03/11/2008 16:24

There is no sense to it. It is tragic.

I don't know about buggies.

We are watching Mr Macgorias Wonder Imporia. I love films like this.

LackaDAISYcal · 03/11/2008 17:27

Less of the nearly in the thread title

I farking blardy well did it

and I have the farking blardy piles to prove it

Thank you all so much for the text messages over the last few days , and apologies if I've sent people multiple text messages, never give technology to high on the happy side (well gas and air and diamorphine) recently birthed laydees.

I will post a birth announcement soonish, but am off to catch up.

DD has regressed to a screaming howling wretch. She is not a happy bunny at all and is looking at poor Fin with nothing so much as disgust and loathing.

Struggling to type choerently as well due to poor oxygen starved brain.

LittleMissNorty · 03/11/2008 17:30

Congratualtions Daisy

I didn't get a text....or multiple ones

I want to know the truth now about VBAC

LittleMissNorty · 03/11/2008 17:31

Just popping in to say hi to daisy, I was just about to reply to your text when I saw you were here! Hi! Hope dd gets used to the small fry soon. I'm sure she will. Dd went mental the first time she saw ds bfing, but within a couple of days she was snuggling up beside us when I was feeding. Sorry about the piles!

I'll come back later and catch up properly when the dcs are asleep, I am trying to keep moving atm otherwise ds just screams at me to bf him!! xxx

Hope you are in bed and not being Supermum.

TALLULAHBELLE · 03/11/2008 18:48

Welcome back Daisy. Can't wait to see photos & hear gory details .

Ohforfoxsake · 03/11/2008 18:52

How are you doing Tallulah? Sleeping any better?

TALLULAHBELLE · 03/11/2008 19:03

Hi Foxy. How's all the lurgy? I felt a lot better last night but DD had dreadful night, kept waking up & just howling so ended up in with me so not much sleep again. Is not like her at all - usually a solid 13 hrs girl so can't complain. Anyway she is at my mum's again tonight so third time lucky I hope .

Ohforfoxsake · 03/11/2008 19:07

Always the way, isn't it?

Lurgy is still lurking. I feel dreadful today. We had a puke-free night last night

Comes to something, doesn't it, when you count no vomiting as a 'good night'!

Ahh, LO still not walking here, but is standing up, shaking her booty and dancing

She also put her arms around me today, buried her head in my neck, squeezed and said "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh".

justbeme · 03/11/2008 20:23

Welcome Home Daisy and her DS2!!!
I didnt get any texts either Norty we can {sob} together!!
So what happened with the formula/BF Daisy? i understand there was a problem??

Riallybigbangandflash · 03/11/2008 20:24

have just read DS1s homework planner. seems he probably is still a little shit after all. not as much as some but anyway, I thought we'd turned a corner.

It seems that the one trick or treater we had on Friday (that opened the front door) was the child of the one friend I'd told we weren't doing halloween and a bit . I did invite them to our anti-party but they had a better offer. I thought she knew how the boys reacted to it.

Got rid of the smell, the bits are all drying.

Hi daisy. Glad to see the habits of new mums have not changed

Sputnik · 03/11/2008 20:27

Yes, welcome back Daisy, and welcome to the world little Fin!

Riallybigbangandflash · 03/11/2008 20:35

I HATE this time of year. DS2 is having a stress-out because it's dark and there might be fireworks.

FrazzledFairyFay · 03/11/2008 20:42

Welcome back Daisy

this

LackaDAISYcal · 03/11/2008 22:44

full and unexpurgated details here

hey jbm. His blood sugar was low and the paeds wanted me to give him some formula to get it up and going, inspite of what I wanted and the MWs were advocating (ie he is feeding well just leave him). they were making me feeel reallly bad for not giving in. We stuck to our guns though and he was back in normal range by mid afternoon . but ironically, after no sleep since Thursday night, I agreed to some formula on Saturday afternoon so I could get some sleep as I was hallucinating by that time.......but he just spat it out and had about a teaspoonful if that at all. They have been making a huge deal about the ADs as well and it's taken a lot to get them to listen/do some research. The MWs have been fab, just the paeds being a bit arsey.

Milk is coming in now though and he is doing better but has a lazy latch and I'm a bit sore....we'll get there though.

Being ordered off to bed...anaemia really sucks

will catch up later and get some photos sorted tomorrow.

thanks again for all your lovely messages

Riallybigbangandflash · 03/11/2008 22:59

thanks for the camera link, I bought this for £20 + P&P in the end (a couple of others went for £28 + P&P the day after so I was happy with that). If I'd known about the little tikes on offer I prob would have bought that instead cos it go tthe best review in that article jammy posted I think, but I'm happy enough and I think DS will be too.

DM is fine with the new pushchair (once she got over the fact there were men with guns everywhere when they collected it for me - it was from a barracks) and so long as I ditch the old one

Just had to give DH a plot rundown on Dogma. He is a bit that I've even seen it!

annobal · 04/11/2008 08:02

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS DAISY! Sorry - I'm a bit slow on the uptake. Great news and good to hear that things are going well

annobal · 04/11/2008 08:06

And Hello everyone

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 04/11/2008 08:46

Couldn't get on last night, we had a rare night out , but I see that Daisy's back. Big congrats, I will catch up and read all the gory details later!
