Okay Okay, I can count 2 adults plus 1 2-5 yr old plus 1 under 2 is FOUR but under 2 doesn't count as needing a bed. I am not inumerate honest.

Aprilmeadow · 06/11/2008 16:41

Aprilmeadow · 06/11/2008 16:46

Ref is: 5504360

largeginandtonic · 06/11/2008 17:08

Poor you AM lucky you have experince in all this travel stuff.

Hope fully all will be well and we will manage to book a villa when we have dd2 safe with us. I would book something now but it could end up a c section and her 2 weeks late (Hugo was due 13th and came 27th) she is due 12th so would not be unusual.

Even if i could sit on my arse while farmning the dc out to you all i would still have to get there and dh does not drive.

I can do Sherwood and back in a day if needs be anyway This is going to be such fun

Aprilmeadow · 06/11/2008 17:36

Its the 8yrs as a PA that worked in my favour!

Pebblemum · 06/11/2008 18:14

Hello everyone

Im back!! Had a wonderful 2wks in Rhodes, got back last Wednesday but its been so hectic since we got back that this is the first time Ive switched the pc on lol

Alana loved being centre of attention everywhere we went on holiday but she is such a tart. As soon as a man came into view she would stand up and smile at him, all the time watching as he went by until he had disappeared. She was up dancing every night until on the last night one of the entertainers got her to stand next to him on the stage and show everyone lol If shes like this at her age I dread to think what a show off she will be when she is a teenager lol. J met a boy on the coach on the way to the hotel and for a week we hardly saw him, he was off on the waterslides etc with his friend. On the boy's last day we took him to the waterpark across the road, J and his friend went off on their own, dh took E on a few slides and I relaxed with A. It cost about £75 but was worth every penny.

It was nice to come home, own bed and all that but I wish we could have kept the hot weather, its bloody cold over here lol. Plus we came home to a defrosted freezer, dh found out he has lost 2hrs a week at work, hes not allowed to do any overtime and the firm is closing for two weeks over Christmas which means he has to use 6days of next years holiday just to ensure he gets some wages, and my dad had been to hospital with chest pains (luckily it turned out to be nothing serious)

Anyway we are back now and almost back to normal (if we ever were normal in the first place )

While I was away my bump seems to have gone from being just slightly noticeable to being huge and unavoidable, yet I can still fit in some of my old jeans . People who didnt know (mainly because they didnt need to) are starting to notice now but if I get asked about names once more I think I will scream. I have absolutely no idea what to call this LO but when I say that all I get is odd looks and comments of 'ooh your running out of time' Ive still got 11wks, plenty of time lol. I am so unorganised this time around. With Alana she had almost everything by this stage of pregnancy, this LO has 5 vests and a t-shirt. Think I need a kick up the bum lol

By the way Happy Anniversary PJ

Pinkjenny · 06/11/2008 20:21

Thanks for the cake LG&T - it's yummy.

Get me eh, posting from home!

Glad you had a great holiday Pebble.

JamInMyWellies · 06/11/2008 20:37

Hi pebble sounds like you had a fab time.

Right so let me get this right

Sherwood Center Parcs

February 6th - 9th

I will check out the website and try find out the cheapest way for us to do it. DH still not sure if he will come think he is worried he will be indoctrinated into some sort of cult.

Totally cream crackered this eve after the fright this morning Archie has been a monster today. DP took Louis out for a wander this arvo and came back telling me how he had rolled in horse poo and gone swimming in the stream so the dog has had to go in the shower tonight. I am seriously thinking about getting an outside kennel for him.

JamInMyWellies · 06/11/2008 21:30

Just had a look at sherwood it looks like they dont have accomodation for just me DP and the kids unless we are prepared to splash out near on 400 smackers So we would have to share with someone which I am more than happy to do so if someone wants to share with me give me a shout and see if we can sort something out.

TheGreatScootini · 06/11/2008 21:33

Yay!How much do I owe you AM?!Thankyou for sorting it out, you are a star! How exciting!!

Welcome back Pebble..cant believe you are still in your jeans with 11 weeks to go.I couldnt even fit my arm in my normal jeans at that stage..

My Mum has fallen down the stairs and fractured her wrist. Not good for her, though she said she is quite enjoying the morphine they have given her .Not good for our child care situation either..Anyone free Mon/Tues to mind my two little Angels?

TheGreatScootini · 06/11/2008 21:36

17th is fine PJ..Maybe meet at Trafford centre?

JamInMyWellies · 06/11/2008 22:00

Am I being uber dense. AM did you book for me?

Scoot your poor mum.

TheGreatScootini · 06/11/2008 22:13

I know. She fell down the stairs carrying her washing (in an almost identical incident to one in 1989 where she chipped a bit off her back bone)Am a bit worried about her.

She also has a black eye from where she landed on her face and says she looks like she has been in a fight. They are going to a black tie dinner on Saturday for the Charity my Dad helps to run and she had an evening gown with long sleeves that now she wont be able to wear due to pot on wrist. Will send her some blooms tomorrow..no point in going up as the girls wont leave her alone for 5 minutes and think she needs the rest really.

Now I think AM may not have booked for me?Have I got it wrong?

twelveyeargap · 06/11/2008 22:26

Scoot, I can mind the girls for you, if you can drop them here. Really sorry for your mum.

I think AM might have booked for herself. Everyone who wants to share say "aye" and say how many rooms they want and work from there I think. I think AM's done enough organising. Hehehe.

JamInMyWellies · 06/11/2008 22:30

I have no idea scoot am completely confused but to be fair thats fairly easy for me these days.

Your poor poor mum. Could she customize her dress. Lots and lots of touche eclat or benefit do something called eye cake I think

Aprilmeadow · 07/11/2008 08:01

Sorry ladies had an early night.

Scoot i have booked a villa for you me and pink to share.

JAM I spoke to Charley last night and she would happily share with you. She is going to wait to hear from you before she books up.

Scoot sorry to hear about your mum, that must have been so painful [ouch]

largeginandtonic · 07/11/2008 08:08

Scoot your poor mum! Hope the bruising dies down for her posh do, benefit stuff is ace for covering up.

Not sure AM has booked for anyone else. I am sooo hoping this baby comes out the begining of Jan so even if it is a section i will be ok to drive.

I feel cream crackered too Jam, barely able to walk up stairs it is ridiculous. I have no idea how i am supposed to manage another 10 weeks of it. My Sil is coming sunday so we can compare bumps (she is a week behind me) she is the one who said i had a fat arse when pregnant with Beau i am soooooooooo looking forward to seeing the size of her arse

Pebble glad you had a lovely holiday! Pah to organaisation with a 4th baby, nappies and a blanket thats all they need No names then, hehehehehe

JamInMyWellies · 07/11/2008 08:45

Just sent charley a FB message. SOH what are you doing do you want to bunk in with us aswell would that work??

LG&T will be wishing arse giganticus on your SIL

Pinkjenny · 07/11/2008 09:12

Pebble - I still can't fit into my pre-pg jeans - I think it's a travesty that you can and I am officially appalled.

Scoot - about your mum. My mum is acting tres weird at the moment, I think she might be going through the change. Trafford Centre would be great. Will you have L and M with you? If not, I can leave Alexa with my nan and grandad and come and meet you.

LG&T - My arse is of gigantic proportions, and I am not pregnant. I always think curly hair balances out the fat.

Pinkjenny · 07/11/2008 09:19

AM - just looked at our accommodation. I am ridiculously excited. Honestly, my heart is racing.

TheGreatScootini · 07/11/2008 09:48

Unfortunately I will have them.On past experience they and shopping centres dont mix but we shall see!

Yay thanks April! Now everyone else book up before there is no room!Is very exciting indeed!

I hope your SIL's arse is the size of a house gin

Well try as I might I cannot shake this cold.Is getting on my nerves now.Plus am alone with the kids for the next 3 days, yikes!L is asleep now and M is supposed to be and am pretending I cant hear her talking to herself in her cot..Was supposed to be going out tonight.Think will stay in with my Lemsip instead

Thanks TYG..See you at 7.30 Monday morn then...You are a love to offer...but I think if I am well enough to go to work then will work late as have an event to run in the evening (I want to say something to do with Older Peoples awareness day but cant really remember what the hell it is TBH), L at pre school in the aft, and the CM is kindly taking M, and on Tues DH will have to do his study around the kids and (heaven forbid)revise at night, after they have gone to bed.(He cant get his head around evening revising when he is on study leave-he thinks he can only revise twixt the hours of 9 and 5.Yet the rest of the time he will happily stay at work till 10 or 11 at night doing it.)

DH also has a cold.Last night on hearing about my poor Mum, he exclaimed ,'honestly, the world is against me passing these exams'.FGS He needs to Man up!I handed him a Lemsip and pointed out it was probably worse for Mum..Two weeks till these exams are over.Cannot come soon enough.(Unless he fails of course, in which case I dont care to think of the effect this will have on his mood!)

Pinkjenny · 07/11/2008 09:49

I completely agree. You can always come to my house if you like. I might even bake a cake. If Manchester is better for you, we'll just go with it!!!
