largeginandtonic · 07/11/2008 09:51

I want to book!!!

Pinkjenny · 07/11/2008 09:53

I had a fabulous dream last night about Ian Wright. I always suspected he was a bit naughty.

Too early for this?

largeginandtonic · 07/11/2008 09:53

AND i want to come shopping...

LOL a little at your dh though Scoot, 'man up' indeed. My dh will be so proud it is being used

largeginandtonic · 07/11/2008 09:54

Never too early for this.

ShowOfHands · 07/11/2008 09:55

Oh scoot, your poor mum. Jam, baby kicking away again today?

I'm sulking. I'm not going nowhere without lg&t and sod the grammar.

largeginandtonic · 07/11/2008 09:58

SOH you can come here first and we will go together. It will all be fine and the girl will pop out on January 7th >

Dunno why i like January 7th i just do.

Pinkjenny · 07/11/2008 09:58

He was a really good kisser. I remember that. I think it's those big juicy lips.

I'd love to say more but IT may be watching.

SOH - LG&T hasn't said she's not coming, she's just on babywatch. You are both coming.

TheGreatScootini · 07/11/2008 10:04

Ian Wright Lady?I cant accept it.Not after you laughed at me fancying Vincent Simone..

ponders

elkiedee · 07/11/2008 10:11

Your poor mum Scoot! PMSL and tsk at your dh though (the response to news of your mum).

Pinkjenny · 07/11/2008 10:12

Yes, about two hours, straight up the M1 then the M62 past Leeds or you can go the scenic route.

I think it's the gold tooth.

Chocolate fudge cake is the best.

ShowOfHands · 07/11/2008 10:22

I don't know who Ian Wright or Vincent Simone are but I'm sure they make you very happy.

Gin, how were the dts with David Tenant's confirmation of his leaving. I do so want Paul Bettany to take over.

I can't book anything atm as dh is controller of the purse strings and I'm a mere kept woman. Haven't seen him since yesterday morning. A trail of destruction involving cereal, boxer shorts and toothpaste suggests he may have been here in the wee small hours.

I really like Paul Bettany. I dislike his wife, for some reason, I never liked her in Labyrinth either.

ShowOfHands · 07/11/2008 10:44

Labyrinth was my favourite film as a child but I agree, she's pesky.

Don't like Damian Lewis's wife either. Or any romantic attachment belonging to Jake Gyllenhall. Or any of the slim young things DT dates. On principle you see.

Pinkjenny · 07/11/2008 10:46

Yes, I understand. I once ripped my dad's paper before he'd read it scribbling over Amanda de Cadenet's face when she was going out with Nathan from Brother Beyond.

Aprilmeadow · 07/11/2008 10:49

Yes the villa will be super duper!
Scoot & Pink I have worked out the cost at being £325 each. Does that sound ok?

Pinkjenny · 07/11/2008 10:49

Sounds fine to me.

JamInMyWellies · 07/11/2008 10:55

MMMMMM Paul bettany now there is someone who would always be welcome round my gaff. His wife is irritatingly beautiful.

Am gutted about David Tennant. DP would like John Simm to take over but not sure how that would work seeing as he was the master. Sorry am becomming a total Dr Who geek.

SOH and LG&T I absoloutely forbid the pair of you not to come. I too am a kept woman with not a bean in my purse so am waiting for the almighty DP to make his mind up if A, he is coming and B, we can afford it.

Yeap bubba is on the move again, but they want me to go back in at lunchtime and double check all is ok. DP was convinced that because i couldnt feel it it was on the way. The midwife assured me tis another couple of wks yet.

I have progressed from cleaning in my PJ's and dressing gown to doing it starkers I get so hot and sweaty tis the only way.

twelveyeargap · 07/11/2008 11:00

Ah righto, Scoot. You life is mighty complicated.

Offer is on the table if you get stuck though.

I don't know who Paul Bettany is... Nope, still clueless. I've read a couple of the books on which some of his films are based, but don't think I've seen him in anything. I quite liked the Secret Life of Bees. I wonder was the film any good?

New James Bond was a bit of a disappointment. Bit light on story compared to Casino Royale. I thought the poker scenes in that were great as well. Very realistic.

I'm losing my voice today.

And we're having a party tomorrow. You can see the big local fireworks display from our garden, so this is now our 2nd annual "Fireworks Party". Need to get the cooking done today, but by the time DH had agreed on a menu with me, the morning delivery slots from both Tesco and Ocado were gone.

Was a bit spooked to see that now I have a Tesco clubcard, my "favourites" were updated from when I shopped in store... Eek. Big Brother is watching.

Pinkjenny · 07/11/2008 11:19

Oh no, TYG, I thought the fireworks would be over now, although I secretly suspected they'd carry on this weekend. To be fair to L, she has slept beautifully through them, but I've been like a cat on a hot tin roof.

So, I'm going to the hairdressers tomorrow. Do I:

a) stick with natural colour and just get a nice shiny brown semi permanent colour
b) have some nice highlights in caramels and golds
c) Have some low lights
d) go much lighter

I can't decide.

Aprilmeadow · 07/11/2008 11:21

I think option B wuld look nice

Pinkjenny · 07/11/2008 11:22

The only problem with highlights (IMHO) is that you just end up lighter and lighter, and so over time you end up practically blonde anyway.

I do feel like a change though. The sight of Cheryl Cole on the X Factor every weekend is making me feel like an old hag.

Aprilmeadow · 07/11/2008 11:26

you are far from an old hag!

if i go to the hair dresser and have no idea what to go with i always ask them what they suggest, never been dispointed.

We are off to the British Touring Car end of season ball tomorrow! I have a lovely dress to wear just need to work out what to do with my hair....

Pinkjenny · 07/11/2008 11:35

You are going to look fabulous in that. An updo would be gorgeous, exposing your neck and shoulders.

I'm going to be very firm with them. The problem with asking for it to be brown, is you always come out like Morticia.

TheGreatScootini · 07/11/2008 12:41

I thinkn lowlights.
I will come to you for cake.Otherwise will buy stuff.

Lovely frock April.
Price fine and dandy..do you want me to oay you or them and if so when d'you want it?

Paul Bettany was in A knights Tale which is quite funny if you dont take it to seriously..

I once got nearly curshed to death at that fireworks displau TYG.I was pg with L, Very big and there was a fight inside and a huge stampede and I got stuck in a doorway.I ahve never been so terrified in my life. When I eventually got out we told the Police outside what was going on within and they said 'its not our responsibility to police inside'.People were getting crushed!

L Still asleep.Poor child is knackered.Same cant be said of M who is yomping around the house and ahs been since 10.I beg of you.I wanted to go back to bed..

Pinkjenny · 07/11/2008 12:45

I am just reading In-Style and it is making my fingers itch. I need to stop all this spending, so yes, Scoot, come to me, I'll bake a cake and the girls can be all feral.
