Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Oh my god this is a nightmare!

I cant do April as that is just full of birthdays (dd 10th, me 14th & ds 24th) so for me thats out.

Charley, Scoot, JAM, SOH & Me can do any date

Pink can do 6th or 27th

LG&T can do the 6th (all of them) or 20th (dc's 6&7)

So the dates that seem to work for the majority are the 6th or 27th.

I know the 6th is more expensive but this seems to be the date that everyone can do.

So if we go with the 6th at Sherwood (see i have made a decision) then these are the villas we would need:

Villa 1: 4bd
LG&T - all of them

Villa 2: 4bd
Pink
ME
Scoot

Villa 3: 3bd
JAM
SOH

Villa 4: 2bd
Charley

Just tried working out the configuration if we ALL go to Sherwood Forest on the 6th Feb

twelveyeargap · 06/11/2008 15:39

I am lost and have no idea when the "weekend away" is. Or is it midweek? No idea. Can I have a recap? Or don't we know.

I think I could prob come with the little ones. DH may need convincing. If it's in school holidays then S could be in Ireland. I'd need two rooms. I can't abide sharing with the kids and all their night time snorting and snufflings.

Perhaps PJ and L should go to separate houses. L with me and LG&T obviously, so we could "have words".

Like the sound of a big house somewhere. Bring some toys and let the kids run riot amuse themselves whilst we get stuck into the gin or ginger beer.

Anyway, I'm rubbish at being organised in advance. If someone says "this is when it is", I will aim to be there.

twelveyeargap · 06/11/2008 15:40

Laugh. AM got there before me.

Aprilmeadow · 06/11/2008 15:41

In that case you could share with Charley TYG

Pinkjenny · 06/11/2008 15:42

Why would we need to go to separate houses TYG?

[confused emotion]

twelveyeargap · 06/11/2008 15:46

So me and LG&T could sort L's sleep ishoos and you would never know if she cried a bit.

T'was a joke. Don't worry.

Aprilmeadow · 06/11/2008 15:47

TYG can you do the 6th Feb?

Pinkjenny · 06/11/2008 15:47

Excellent plan. I'm in. I bet she'd sleep all bloody night for you two. Anyone would.

Don't worry, I'm not worried.

TheGreatScootini · 06/11/2008 15:49

Oh yes!Sorry PJ Happy Anniversary!

How exciting Charley!!I think your DH is suspicious of us May ladies. When he introduced me to their DD he described me as 'Mummys friend off the internet' in a sort of 'behold the freaks' tone..Obviously he is spot on there but still..

Is next weekend am there..am staying around till Tuesday if thats any good to anyone?

Dont be afraid to ask to go back Tilly and get them to fit it right.I had to have mine taken out and out back in again in the two weeks before my wedding. Its all part of the job for them..I cant wait to see the pictures of it!

Well decided to go out and get a curtain pole as finally the kitchen curtains are done.Thought I was feeling better today.Ran out of energy in the line at B and Q..Have now retreated back to bed..Lord knows how I will manage the next 3 days with the kids..DH at college tomorrow and the weekend..M is at CM's today but have kept off with me..she is still very quiet and is being no bother, but is certainly on the mend thank goodness..Think there will be much painting and play dohing this weekend to keep them amused in a not- too- active- for- me way.

Could the weather be any greyer today?I love Autumn. But not like this..

JamInMyWellies · 06/11/2008 15:50

we could ply you with vast quantities of fizzy pop and you would have no idea what was going on with L. Or we could make her share a room with my devil child and he would just duff her up till she fell asleep.

Aprilmeadow · 06/11/2008 15:51

Scoot did you see my plan??

TheGreatScootini · 06/11/2008 15:51

Well done April!Could you use this as your project for college as an example of superb organising skills?

Aprilmeadow · 06/11/2008 15:51

Please can i have a hands up of who can come on the 6th...

Pinkjenny · 06/11/2008 15:52

Aye for the 6th.

TheGreatScootini · 06/11/2008 15:53

Me, L and M!

twelveyeargap · 06/11/2008 15:53

Yes. Are we talking a weekend?

Aprilmeadow · 06/11/2008 15:56

just a weekend. Fri to mon (although you can go home on the Sunday)

Aprilmeadow · 06/11/2008 16:05

Just spoken to LG&T and we are going to go with the 6th but leave her out for now just in case dd2 comes late or she has a cs. She can decide nearer the time what she will do. Even suggested that she could come for the day as long as she didnt have a cs

Pinkjenny · 06/11/2008 16:17

Scoot - I'm off on a Monday if you want to make a plan for the 17th November???

AM - you are going to make a sterling HR Manager.

Aprilmeadow · 06/11/2008 16:23

Spoken to TYG and she will book her own once she knows who's coming.

I AM booking our villa now! Strike whilst the iron is hot and all!

charleymouse · 06/11/2008 16:25

Please Miss Meadow can I come?

Even if I am on my own we can count one of the beds in my/our villa as belonging to someone else if need to, even if not used.

Is the following any use AM in the bun fight logistical planning?

Name Charley Adults 17+ 2 Child 6-16 0 Baby 2-5 1 Baby *

Pinkjenny · 06/11/2008 16:27

Good God, I need to seriously lose weight by then. I need to be waxed as well. I haven't tended to that area since the day before my cs!!!

twelveyeargap · 06/11/2008 16:27

By that I meant, who in my family is coming. I'm not waiting to see which of us is going!

Whose partners are coming? DH is labouring under the impression that it's like Bulins and refusing to hear of it. I assured him it wasn't, though not having been to CP myself, I'm not the best rep.

Am waiting for him to have a look at the website and have a think. He reckons I should go without him and take S and one of her friends and the babies. Maybe I should leave him with all the kids and come alone.

Pinkjenny · 06/11/2008 16:29

Dh isn't coming TYG. He doesn't like CP at the best of times (remember our first holiday after L was born - we came home after a day), and as we are going for a week on 16th, there's no way he'll come twice in a month.

charleymouse · 06/11/2008 16:36

LG&T You can always use my house in Worksop if we have not got it sold/rented by then.

Very nice IIDSSM. 4 bed detached with 2 ensuites should fit you all comfortably.

Just a small matter of packing my stuff up and decluttering whilst you are there. You can manage that just after giving birth can't you?

Tis then only a kids piss short drive 30 mins to Sherwood Forest.

Scoot yes think DH not sure about you weirdos lovely lot but I think he was just panicked as his dad was round at ours and he always says completely the wrong/most inappropriate thing without fail.

Happy Anniversary PJ Congratulations.

It was my WA last week 8 years, (together 21 years, god how old)I love a winter wedding, I had a beautiful white velvet coat with a train which my Nana made over my dress which was lovely. Wish I could just get in the thing now sigh.
