Another chat with Him Indoors. DH doesn't work Sundays (so if you're planning a crime spree, that's the day to do it as no coppers work Sundays apparently) and he can swap his Saturday shift out with somebody so we might be able to work it out anyway.

Is there a date all of us can make?

And I wear a dress over jeans all the time. But then I'm a weirdy hippy type.

C'mon you lot. DH at work in an hour.

largeginandtonic · 06/11/2008 12:14

SOH and family used to bunking with all of us. Argh...what are we going to do?

Pinkjenny · 06/11/2008 12:41

Is it just me and my already booked CP that is messing things up?

TheGreatScootini · 06/11/2008 12:57

AM.DH has just called to say you have rung my mobile.(numpty has taken it to the library with him-we have the same phone and he consantly takes mine by mistake)He will be back at 5 so will ring you then..didnt want to you to think I was ignoring you..

ShowOfHands · 06/11/2008 12:58

As far as I can tell the problem lies between you two awkward ha'porths. PJ can't do the weekends before or after half term and LG&T ideally wants to do one of them so that Neil's around and she just has the boy and dd2. Alternatively we go at the beginning of the month and it's more expensive.

Or... there's January but then we risk LG&T having to labour in the swimming pool perhaps.

I want to sleep with LG&T. Snigger. But I want to see PJ too. Buggeration.

OP posts:
Pinkjenny · 06/11/2008 13:03

I'll bow out if everyone else can sdo the half term dates. Majority rules, and all that.

No probs.

xx

Pinkjenny · 06/11/2008 13:33

Did that kill the thread or what!!!

ShowOfHands · 06/11/2008 13:42

Nope. Not having it. We are all going. There must be a way.

charleymouse · 06/11/2008 13:54

gosh this has moved on, will sneak out to loo shortly AM and call you. In new office now so trying to be quiet until I find my feet. On lunch now though so checking in, have just left you a garbled message AM. All sounds okay to me.

charleymouse · 06/11/2008 14:16

Ooh forgot to say I got a BFN last Saturday.

If AF did not return until August this year and then cycle (if you can count 3 AFs as a cycle) has been 39 days then 27 days I should on another 27 day cycle have been due last Tuesday shouldn't I. Should I test again or just wait a few more days.

Okay maybe TMI info but here goes AF here
4-8/August (39 days)
12-16/September (27 days)
9-13/October due now (Do you think?)
Or could it all just have gone to pot as G was unwell so BF lots. Has anyone got them back and then them gone again without being preggers.

JamInMyWellies · 06/11/2008 14:19

Am happy to share no probs but Scoot PJ no funny buisness. DP a little unsure on whether he wants to come but I think he will.

Bit of a mad morning just had to go be monitored for an hour mini munch decided to have late snooze this morning and was refusing to wake up but typically as soon as the monitor was on started bouncing all over the place.

TYG the hypno stuff has just arrived thankyou so much am going to have a read through of it later and start it properly tonight.

charleymouse · 06/11/2008 14:21

Trying to stay chilled about it all, nonchalant moi, papping it.

Just want to be but panicking in case I am and something not right again.

Probably be here tomorrow anyway, snappish yesterday, definitely snapish behaviour yesterday. DHs manflu and electricians tramping muddy boots through house could have been root cause of that though.

Ooh Scoot did you say you were up noorf this weekend or next or did I imagine it? At NCT sale this weekend but about the following weekend if you and PJ and AL fancy a get together.

Bothered, am I bothered?

Pinkjenny · 06/11/2008 14:24

Isn't it the 15th CM?

Oooh, Charley, do another test in a few days time. Exciting!

And gintonic - thanks for the 'man up' comment earlier, I missed that until now. Trust me, I am only trying to save my own sanity.

charleymouse · 06/11/2008 14:28

Just checked with DH about whether he would come or not and said some DHs are some not and he said what "a weekend with the
ladies from the fat club"

Obviously I corrected him immediately (see scooper model et al) and he then said he meant fat as prggers all the time so I let him off with a mild scolding.

He says he will come along but would seem weird as we all know each other (albeit virtually) and our DHs don't. He can muck in anywhere though.

ShowOfHands · 06/11/2008 14:30

FWIW, when af returned when dd was 4 months (boo hiss), it was all over the shop. It was 35 days sometimes then 23 days. My luteal phase was too short by half for a while too. I did some research and found that it's normal for your cycle to be up and down while you're still bfing and just after you stop and especially that it can restart and then stop for a little while again depending on frequency of feeds. I didn't have a 'normal' cycle (ie one that could have resulted in a baby) for 6 months after af returned. However, I was still exclusively demand feeding so my hormone levels really shouldn't have let me ovulate at all.

Are you ovulating? And if you are, are you ovulating mid-cycle? I ovulated 4/5 days before af for a few months so a completely upside down cycle.

Blardy hell - have got a headache just reading you lot trying to sort out a meet up What a nightmare ! I might be up for it but may tag along and book something once you have sorted a date/venue etc.

Not sure if its any good but this place sleeps 47 people, is fabulous and works out fairly reasonable if there are lots of people going (LG&T - you could take the whole brood)

ShowOfHands · 06/11/2008 14:39

Fat? Fat? I think you jolly well should bring him. The pregnant can sit on him and the size 10 thank you very much ones can beat him about the head with gingerbread.

I'm offended.

OP posts:
Pinkjenny · 06/11/2008 14:50

OMG Tilly - that place is fabulous.

I am fat. I'm not offended.

largeginandtonic · 06/11/2008 14:52

Fat who called who fat >

Hold off on the test CM for another 2 days if you can, how exciting!

We are all going, it will have to work out somehow. We could just delay it for a month or two till Easter? Just before or just after so it is not sooooo expensive.

Tills did you try the dress on?

charleymouse · 06/11/2008 14:59

Yes PJ I think you are right. 15th it was. DOH.

TSM that looks lurvely.

SOH I don't know , I am v v ignorant of my body and its workings I'm afraid to say. I guess I am just lucky if not TTC that they like to have a break, could just be the menopause though I guess . If we are meeting up you can hit him around the head with the book on gingerbread I bought you.

Tillyscoutsmum · 06/11/2008 15:06

It is a gorgeous place - I went on a girly weekend a few years ago. We're off to the Viney Hill one this year (last weekend in Jan).

Tried the dress on - its all very stressful. I think it needs taking in, the woman in the shop can't be arsed and I'm such a big fat wuss, I just stood there and said "oh ok then" and went home and cried at the photos of me in it because it looks shite and DOESN'T FIT PROPERLY ..... (and breeeeaaaathe).

I'm taking my very scary assertive friend with me for my second fitting next week and she's going to help me out

On the bright side - I've done 5 weeks off cigs and I now weigh 2 stone 3 lb less than I did 6 months ago

Pinkjenny · 06/11/2008 15:09

Tilly - that fantastic. How have you done it?

I hated my wedding dress at my first fitting. I had built it up so much in my head. When it all fitted properly and my hair and make up were done etc, I loved it. I still think it's the most beautiful dress I've ever seen.

And I love, love, love it. But make sure it fits properly. Be bolshy. It's important stuff. Good idea to take your friend.

Tillyscoutsmum · 06/11/2008 15:19

PJ - I did Smilmfast for the first stone, then joined weight watchers. I'm a big WW convert. Oh - and got a Wiifit

Show us a wedding pic then ... Go on

Pinkjenny · 06/11/2008 15:31

Aw, I've got none on computer, although my mum did have some, I'll ask her.

It was so gorgeous . I am slightly more wistful than usual as it is my anniversary today.
