Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

All we need to do is work out which one..... I have based them on Eleveden on the 27th Feb.

We are getting closer ladies just need to finalise the location and date

Pinkjenny · 06/11/2008 09:52

I'm really not trying to be difficult, I promise, and I will definitely come to Elveden, but I won't be able to bring L with me if I do.

largeginandtonic · 06/11/2008 09:56

Good grief AM you are so organised and on no sleep too!

It will be all of us if it is not half term week 13th-23rd, but that is probably v expensive. DH would come too, he joins his ship end of Feb so that may affect the 27th date. I am not much help am i?

Would be very happy to share, not sure if we had them all anyone would a)fit or b) want to

Is it a weekend we are doing? 2 nights?

largeginandtonic · 06/11/2008 09:57

Oh man up Pink. L will be fine, she will be a whole 4 months older by then. Don't worry about it, just feed her skips all the way.

Pinkjenny · 06/11/2008 09:57

It's my fault LG&T (again) - I'm already going to CP on 16th Feb for a week!

Aprilmeadow · 06/11/2008 09:59

just had a look and it is cheaper to go to Sherwood Forest.

the 3bd would be £419 and the 4 bds are £735

Aprilmeadow · 06/11/2008 10:01

if we go on the 6th then its way more expensive at both Eleveden and Sherwood

largeginandtonic · 06/11/2008 10:01

OH i see!

It will be all of us then and am pretty sure dh joins his ship that weekend so wont be able to do it.

If you lot book then i will just come for the day with whichever children i have.

TheGreatScootini · 06/11/2008 10:03

I dont care which..if its Elveden PJ you can drive or train to me the day before if you like and break up the journey a bit..(I thinkit would break the journey up anyway, not actually sure where Elveden forest is, think is vaguely somewhere to the left of where I am..)

Aprilmeadow · 06/11/2008 10:05

arrggghhhh this is so complicated

so the 6th at EF & SF are both very expensive
the 27th is cheaper at Sherwood
the 20th at Eleveden is cheaper still!

largeginandtonic · 06/11/2008 10:07

Hmmmm just googled where it is. Will not be doing that in day! Too far with 7 children and one that is probably feeding every 5 minutes.

This is not going well... blardy children. I may abandon them all and come with just the small one leaving dh. Of course there would be outrage and the kids may well be home alone as he is off to sea

largeginandtonic · 06/11/2008 10:10

The 20th at Elveden is fine, i will only have the two small ones and dh. I can pick the children up Sunday 22nd. So maybe would only stay the Friday night as will have to drive to Bridport on Sunday to get the children.

largeginandtonic · 06/11/2008 10:11

Pink you will still be there wont you? Or do you end the week on the 20th?

Pinkjenny · 06/11/2008 10:14

No, ladies, sorry. I'm in CP from 16th to 20th Feb in the Lake District. I can't possibly get from the Lakes to Suffolk in one day, and L will have had 5 days of it by then.

largeginandtonic · 06/11/2008 10:16

An entirely different CP!!!

Oh this is a logistical nightmare. AM just book the 27th we will have to miss out on this one.

TYG are you going too?

TheGreatScootini · 06/11/2008 10:25

Or we could just knock center parcs on the head totally and look at booking a big old cottage somewhere for the weekend?Just a thought..(though would love CP)

Pinkjenny · 06/11/2008 10:29

I feel really bad now.

largeginandtonic · 06/11/2008 10:44

The children will be away for some of Easter to but prices in school holidays are much more. Am open to anything

Dont feel bad PJ, nothing is more limiting than a thousand children believe me

Themasterandmargaritas · 06/11/2008 10:51

you lot couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery.

Only saying that because I am .
TYG I totally agree with you, McCain is a strong proposition in his own right, but Obama, I feel, is what the world needs, inspite of his lack of experience. Fingers crossed it works out well.

SOH, I have just been to the hairdressers you know the one, where the 20 something talks down at you and listens to nothing you ask for? My hair is now a lot shorter.

TheGreatScootini · 06/11/2008 11:00

Please dont talk to me about hair..I havent recovered from my dreadful cut at the hands of a student last week yet..

Pinkjenny · 06/11/2008 11:03

I have an appointment on Saturday at 12pm. I haven't been to this salon in a very long time, so I said to the bloke on the phone, 'Can I just warn you in advance? I am very fussy'. I bet they can't wait for me to come in!

Themasterandmargaritas · 06/11/2008 11:07

You fussy Pink? Surely not! Zac Efron is currently in my sitting room. (at least I think it is he, is he the one with the very blue eyes?)

Scoot you always look glam in my mind

Pinkjenny · 06/11/2008 11:11

Scoot is very glam! She is the only person I have ever met to be able to pull off the dress over jeans look.

I nearly bought HSM the other day. I think I'd enjoy it!

TheGreatScootini · 06/11/2008 11:33

Its true.I am a scoo-per-model!
Dont laugh too hard-Im here all week..

The dress over jeans look covers a multitude of sins y' know..

I
You would PJ, you would..

His eyes are very blue..I think he might be quite filthy on the quiet. He would be if I got hold of him anyway..

ShowOfHands · 06/11/2008 11:57

Buggering DH's job. They've given him the 13th-18th of February off to use up his holiday. He might not be able to change it.

He's going to try and see if he can specify a different date that fits in with us. Has a definitive decision been made? I'd like to share with LG&T if she's amenable. Or anybody for that matter. DH is all excited that him and Neil might get to be all competitive and arm wrestle every day.

If dh can't come I probably can't being a non feckin driver.
