i dont mind paying it and yo give it to me when you have it

Pinkjenny · 05/11/2008 14:17

Oh sweetie, you're so generous. Obviously, dh will be paying for me to come but would be good if I could pay the balance after Christmas.

Aprilmeadow · 05/11/2008 14:19

not a problem

Pinkjenny · 05/11/2008 14:19

Have just spoken to dh and he said it's fine by him. He did say that L could stay at home with him as well.

Bloody hell! I'm in shock. Although L wants to come with mummy I think.

ShowOfHands · 05/11/2008 14:21

I need to talk to dh first about which accommodation he wants to stay in.

Sherwood's 3 and a half hours from me but should be fine. It's near charley isn't it? Who else? TMAM, will you be gracing us with your presence?

OP posts:
Pinkjenny · 05/11/2008 14:24

Oh now I feel bad SOH. It's near Charley and not too far from Tilly either.

Aprilmeadow · 05/11/2008 14:27

Eleveden is the cheapest location thats for sure.

Distance isnt a wory for me so am happy wherever.

Pink, ooh coming on your own....... that could be cool......

Pinkjenny · 05/11/2008 14:29

If it's Elveden then I'll still come, but I'm not bringing L with me. I couldn't bear the hysteria again.

MKG · 05/11/2008 14:29

Hello everyone-- I am recovering from my farcical day yesterday.

First let me say I voted for McCain.

I think both candidates were qualified, but I liked McCain more.

I do wish they would stop talking about race though. I voted on issues not color. I want to know what the next democratic President will do. Not what the first black President will do.

Anyway, so yesterday I voted, then went to do errands. Dh and I took the divide and conquer approach and I got Cruz and he got Mateo. Well my half went well I ran errands, and was in the grocery store when I get the call with dh screaming at me because one of his tires to his car was MIA. It turns out that dh was fixing his brakes, took the tires off and Mateo rolled it down the road, and down the hill. Well Mateo went back saying that he "lost his wheel" and dh didn't pay any attention to it. About 45 minutes later dh looked for the tire, and realized it was the wheel Mateo was missing. So dh started to panic that it hit another car and caused an accident. He looked all over and was afraid someone picked it up and called the police. (At this point I am laughing hysterically at the whole situation)
So I get home I unload the groceries by myself because dh said he wasn't up to doing anything. I had to take the kids for their flu shots so I woke up Mateo (leaving Cruz downstairs with dh) I was talking to Mateo about what happened, and I hear a clink. I went downstairs to find the door wide open and Cruz walking up the street by himself with dh asleep on the couch. I mean who falls asleep in about 5 minutes.

So dh does not get father of the year in my book. Because twice he wasn't paying attention and his children got loose. Anyway, I rescue Cruz (who was so happy running free) and I tell dh that I'm going out with Mateo to find the tire. Now I'm the smarter one out of this pair so I went right to the crew that does the lawn and asked them. The told me they found a tire and the manager had it in her truck. So what dh pouted about for 2 hours I fixed in five minutes. So here I am pregnant, carrying a tire down the street, holding Mateo's hand. Dh was so happy, he put the tire on and went with me to take the kids for their flu shots (first time ever to the doctor) We got that done, and I went home, made an apple cake and dinner, and went to bed at about 9pm.

By dinner time we were laughing about dh and Mateo's adventure, although dh is still a little upset about it, but I think the whole day is hysterical.

Themasterandmargaritas · 05/11/2008 14:32

largeginandtonic · 05/11/2008 15:41

Half term 13th - 23rd Feb. I could come then. Will be very fat with a very tiny newborn. DH wont have joined his ship so will still be around.

largeginandtonic · 05/11/2008 15:45

Just said to dh about the dates, he said ok. We would need our own villa though i think! Is it a weekend? Couldnt go for a mid week as the kids are in school and they are mucho touchy on hols in term time.

MKG · 05/11/2008 15:47

Did I mention that we are potty training Mateo and he hates using the potty so he did go all day and last night he was running around screaming for a diaper when all of a sudden he exploded there was pee everywhere. Luckily I was able to grab him and stick him in the bathtub, but that boy was peeing like it was a contest. Poor thing.

TheGreatScootini · 05/11/2008 16:10

Ohh yes im coming! How exciting!I dont care which..and sharing room is fine by me, though I will have L as well as M, will there be space? Will I need to pay extra as L will be 3?

Well L is much better today thank goodness!Only one dose of calpol needed this morning and she has seemed far more cheerful.Am hopeful we are over the worst Thankyou all for your wise words..I think getting her to bed, in her own bed and not ours will be a challenge mind, but am so glad she is on the mend..
(I am still in bed, but DH reports that I dont look as grey as I did which I take to be a good sign )

Master..Please please be careful over there..sounds quite terrifying..Yay Obama!!I was up in the night with L and her snot, so kept having a sneaky peak..what a happy day..Wish we had a similar candidate.Although I did see David Cameron on the footage of the Killers gig the other night..he might be quite cool on the quiet and I do like a bit of posh...

Am very of your paint system gin..I will be needing one of those, but only after have removed 7 layers of vile wall paper from every wall in the house..Am going for wall paper on some of the walls too..DH not aware of this yet mind..am quite liking the 'Summer Palace' one from Laura Ashley but DH will vetoe as too girly I fear...

I cant believe how preggers you both are Jam and Gin..its flown..cant wait to buy little bootees and the like for you both.I will open the book on the weights..>>dons John McCurrick hat

TheGreatScootini · 05/11/2008 16:13

Oh are you not bringing L PJ?Even better! Will leave mine home too im that case...

Pinkjenny · 05/11/2008 16:14

Oh, I really want to come and bring L. Just pick one that suits most people and I'll come wherever. Now I feel bad that bringing Mark never entered my head - ha ha!

Glad you're both feeling better Scoot.

Re: the bedroom antics, it was all a bit weird and embarrassing, but you've got to just, er, get back on the horse, so to speak.

LET'S BOOK IT!!!!!!!

Pinkjenny · 05/11/2008 16:16

Well, if you didn't bring M and L, then maybe L could stay with her daddy.

He wants her to stay at home with him anyway, apparently. So I can 'let my hair down'.

I do want to bring L, but if the majority want to go to Elveden, I think I'll just leave her at home. I'm prepared to make that kind of sacrifice.

Pinkjenny · 05/11/2008 16:30

Ladies, I'm off home, or should I say to my aunty's dull fireworks party, where my dad plays russian roulette with his life as he messes about getting the fireworks to go off. Scary stuff.
