ooops with the [smi le]s !
How did I miss responding to your post yesterday Muppet? [ft shakes her head in despair at loss of brain] but Mine has said it all..personally what you have described (graphically)is what, for years I would have called normal, but if it isnt normal for you I'd get to your gp for a check up.
Our news is that my mastitis is clearing up, thank heavens (I could barely move my left arm on Monday it was so bad)it was caused by a blister given to me by Alex during one of the feeding frenzies he has had since being so ill nearly 2 weeks ago...I think he is trying to regain the lost weight asap and he has returned to bfing every 2 hours day and night on top of all the solids he tucks away (2 farleys rusks with jersey milk, half a peach, a petit filous and a quarter of my fresh baked crusty roll with butter and jam for breakfast this morning!)....so the spare bed now in his room got plenty of use last night and yes Muppet, I did leave the monitor in our room so Dh could "share", on full volume too ...however he only heard the 3.30 and 6.15 wake ups...he was totally oblivious of the fact that I wasnt in his bed from 12.30-1.30 or 3.30-4.30!...well, I'll let him enjoy it for the moment because I think that, once this growth/recovery spurt is over, one of these feeds at least is going to have to go and the best person to offer water and comfort is the parent without the milk [smug emoticon]
