Oooh how delightful Daisy . DS has mastered nappy removal as well, so is now in nappy pants, except for at night! It is easier with a boy though as they never wear skirts/dresses so the nappy is a tad less accessible .

andiem here's the website with the thumbrint/footprint jewellery

foxythesnowfox · 25/08/2008 20:59

ooh, love those charms. The people we houseswapped with in Oz ran a company doing that.

Sounds lovely FF.

Doesn't sound lovely Daisy.

DP back. Just got back from airport run. He has taken kids out to chippy - they are all closed. He is pissed off. Hmmmm, like he's never been away.

It was his bloody choice too. I was going to cook up a special meal. Oh hum. Better open the wine.

foxythesnowfox · 25/08/2008 21:00

Hey DKMA - where have you been?

FrazzledFairyFay · 25/08/2008 21:03

Oh dear Foxy, sorry it was a less than perfect homecoming.

I have ordered some of the thumbprint cufflinks for Dh's birthday. We did them last week.

LackaDAISYcal · 25/08/2008 21:12

those charms etc are lovely. I would love a pendant with three dangly bits with all the DCs after virgil is born, but unless I send DH the link it will pass him by (am secretly still holding out for a diamond, but he ignores me when I look in jeweller's shop windows and stands apart looking bored...could be a bit of reverse psychology, but alas I fear not)

foxy...sorry about the homecoming, and hope it's just a bit of jetlag making him pissed off and tomorrow will be lovely

We have had a reasonably good day today, but due to DS being a wee shite for a lot of it and not eating either his lunch or tea, the cinema was called off. Feel bad about it, but equally don;t want him to fell he is being rewarded for bad behaviour.

Did a bit of gardening this afternoon and have planted some leeks, spring cabbages and purple sprouting brocolli. Unfortunately the cabbage white catterpillars have done some artistry on the leaves, so not sure if they will survive. We harvested half the carrots and all the beetroot as well, so tomorrow I shall be making carrot and coriander soup and pickling beetroot, for want of anything better to do with it.

Morning! You must all be off having RL's!

Ended up dialling 999 yesterday and going in an ambo with L

LittleMissNorty · 26/08/2008 12:22

Oh JBM - that's dreadful - is she OK? What did they say it was? Hope you're ok as well.....take care of yourself

andiem · 26/08/2008 13:11

is L ok JBM how scary for all of you

justbeme · 26/08/2008 13:35

Back again! - Its very quiet today isnt it??

She had a fit, lost consiousness (sp?) and turned blue - so i panicked.

All been tested and put down to a virus.. but methinks MMR -
She's had another fit since being home and is better, but screaming on my lap - so catch up later !!
xx

LittleMissNorty · 26/08/2008 13:44

Blimey JBM....how scary. At least she's been seen....are they following her up?

andiem · 26/08/2008 14:09

glad all is ok jbm febrile convulsions are very scary

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 26/08/2008 14:26

JBM, Sorry to hear about L. Sounds very scary.

Just taken Jamlet for her MMR and pneumo-thingy jabs this afternoon. So am keeping fingers crossed that all will be well.

LackaDAISYcal · 26/08/2008 15:28

oh, jbm I hope she is doing OK now. When did she have her MMR?

Natty, how are you doing today?

I have finally got around to some sorting out of clothes today.....DH will be pleased

And we seem to have a flea infestation. Cat has been fine for ages (I check her regularly)but now there are fleas everywhere and they have started to bite us . I treated the cat a few days ago, but it doesn't seem to have made any difference.

justbeme · 26/08/2008 16:21

Thanks for your wishes. No, no follow up Norty. She had her MMR on the friday and started to go downhill i would say the following thurs.
The Paed started saying at the end Daisy, how small she was - 73cm and 8.3kg - and perhaps she had coelic symptoms - but I think he was grabbing at straws because then he never mentioned it again.

any how have to get dressed etc for work now so catch up 2mrow.

Sputnik · 26/08/2008 19:36

Hope DD is on the mend JBM

Bumperlicious · 26/08/2008 19:48

JBM that's terribly scary. Are you ok? Hope DD is ok now, poor things both of you. And now you've got to go to work?! You must be worried sick.

My friend Lcy finally had her baby yesterday! Emergency csec apparently. No weight yet(huge apparently but I thought that about dd and she was 7lb6!), but is a little girl, Foxy, she has the same name as your DD2, but with and 'i' before the last letter. Haven't spoken to her but she said it was very scary.

LackaDAISYcal · 26/08/2008 20:02

ooh, congratulations to Lcy . Pass that on when you hear from her won't you!

bumper; you know Aitch don't you? she needs some positive vibes here

DS and I are just about finished watching the whole of Primeval series 1.....he will be having nightmares about dinosaurs and weirdy creatures tonight.

OP posts:
Bumperlicious · 26/08/2008 20:05

That's not aitch daisy Poor dinny though. Aitch is something like 30 weeks isn't she? I didn't even realise until yesterday.

Bumperlicious · 26/08/2008 20:08

Ok, I've just found Aitches thread - shit, no wonder she kept it quiet, she has has a few MCs hasn't she

LackaDAISYcal · 26/08/2008 20:14

oops, wonder how that didn't work? I must've either clicked the wrong one, or hadn't clicked copy link You know I knew in the back of my mind that Aitch was pregnant.......one of those OMG I think I'm pregnant threads under an alias.......but she hasn't really gone on about it (unlike some ). Fingers crossed for her.

DD slept from 2:30 to 5:30 this afternoon, got up, was horribly, horribly grumpy, cried her way through tea and her bedtime drink and then was back in bed without a murmur by 7!
