Hey all - sorry long time no MN, been so busy with DSD this week. Thank GOD schools are back next week, as am almost ready to kill someone. You know when you suddenly realise you have Had Enough? Made DH take DSD out to cinema today, then DD took an hour and a half of screaming to go down for her nap and I just sobbed.....

Little bugger then looks at me, grins, and goes to sleep. Kids!

Scorpio - only done quick skim but sounds like you are sorting out very maturely and well. Not like me, who just screamed at DH and told him he was selfish inconsiderate so and so and nagged like a fishwife.

Can not actually remember ever having been 23. I'm sure I was once but it's such a long time ago I forget.

Sorry to hear about the disappearing DH's, if I have anything to be grateful for it's that DP is such a homebody he very rarely leaves me to cope n my own during the evening or weekends, so I can pretty much count on getting some downtime to myself. It is the thing that I dread most about having more children though (even though I definitely want more), I'm sure having to coordinate the demands of several makes it so much harder to carve out that space.

Poor old DS, he's still v poorly, been bringing up much of his feeds each time, sneezing, coughing, snotty. He's not too unhappy though, such a sweetie, and we've managed to keep a few feeds down by making sure he doesn't have too much in one go. He's passed it on to me, and I feel miserable so am very impressed with how good-tempered he's remaining.

Don't think I'll be out of bed long..this is my third cold in 4 months.

Yummy DH and I are going out for lunch tomorrow. Going to leave her with a friend for the first time. But surprisingly I am very relaxed about it.

My LO's been waking up to feed all night long too. I am hoping that it will pass soon. But the good news is that, I don't think it is chickenpox. At least not yet. Nothing else has come up and that one hasn't even scabbed over yet. So crisis averted.

Poor you and Babybee, Ladybee. Awful having to look after someone when you're poorly yourself. It must be the lack of quality sleep.

I kept hoping he'll grow out of it, but dh and i have finally agreed this weekend that Roelof's eyes are still a bit cross-eyed (they're apparently supposed to grow out of it by 3 months...) - so am rather reluctantly (denial and all, you know...) going to make a gp's appointment tomorrow and hope to get a referral to get it checked out properly. I know you should never trust Googled stuff, but I got a fright as it seems to suggest you have to get it sorted before 6 months or else it takes a lot longer. Hey ho, at least he's healthy, so I should be grateful.

So... we have to move LO out of her Moses basket. Thinking of getting a cotbed. Where do we go to shop for one? I see all these online shops, but wondering if there are any good physical shops where the staff are knowledgeable? Or what is a good online site?

Don't know - bought ours (normal cot) at Zara Home I think (not good for cotbeds btw). Ikea had some pretty cots online if I remember correctly... Am sure someone will be along soon with some advice of actual value.

Cotbeds - John Lewis may have some out? you could look at them 'in the flesh' and then buy a little cheaper else where. I like the look of Mamas & Papas ones, and Ikea looks great. Don't be worried of getting second hand either.

Well we chatted and DH is going training tues weds thurs; (a drop of 2 days!) and will make sure i am 'looked after' a little better. He really does want to make me happy, bless him. Feel far better now. Plus he has a small job to do closer to home and will be home at 4ish for the next few days instead of 6.

Have got back in all pre-pg clothes now. Think i am going to throw most of them out and do some serious retail therapy. Or maybe not throw but pass on to sisters or such like. Will prob be in Maternity clothes aggain soon anyway, lol. If i ever get my period back!
