Rhinestone - lovely to hear from you - not long to go now!! And I really hope you get the HB I have to say I am not missing being pg one little bit - I was SO uncomfortable for the last few weeks!! I am SO not doing that ever again

Bloss - lovely lovely photos of your boys

Josh is still about as far away from being ready to potty train as Sam is - absolutely no signs/inclination from him - which is great (not) as our nappy pail is filling up daily now with 2 lots of nappies!!

Despite the difficult first few days, Josh has adapted to being a 'big brother' so well - I am so proud of him Sam is the first person he wants to see in the morning and when he comes home from nursery, and the tantrums/whinging has stopped completely and we have all settled down happily!

T still in pull ups at night. Although it did occur to me yesterday that his room looks like that of a newborn, with full on cot, gro bag, no pillow, changing mat etc, not a 2 year old strapping hunk, that is potty trained, slept in a bed with a pillow and a duvet for two weeks on holiday with no isses at all. Ridicuolous! And then the reverse is also true as he is attached to his rabbit like he is to his head, and rabbit got left at nursery this afternoon and he is devastated. Bad Mummmy.

BTW, just wanted to share with you lot that for our Wedding Anniv this week (8 years!) I bought DH a key ring with T and H's fingerprints on it and I bought a necklace with two silver ovals with their prints which I absolutely love and now wear all the time. smallprint

Bloss - that jewellery is lovely - have bookmarked the site for future reference!

Now that we are sure we are not going to have anymore children, I am going to get one of these at some point (maybe my birthday?).

Blossomingintoachristmasfairy · 28/11/2008 08:46

He wpoke up 4 times screaming for Rabbit and refused to be fobbed off on Barey or the rabbit Harry lent him.

Blossomingintoachristmasfairy · 28/11/2008 09:12

That's lovely too CB! I got a diamond ring per baby, so unlikely I could convince DH I needed a birthstone one too! Rats!

i got diamond earrings for jacob and dh is buying me a rolex for samuel (although i am getting it in feb when sam will be nearly 1!)

the fingerprint things are lovely bloss and cb also lovely!

jacob had a much better night last night - only woke at 445 in the morning and then back to sleep till 715! and sam slept through so a good nights sleep for me for once... also the bottle of wine with only sushi for dinner probably helped

i can't think of a christmas name

and still waiting for the christmas tree to be delivered here.....

I got balloons for Joey (on instruction of MIL...) and sod-all for Mimi.

Mimi only woke twice again last night - hurraay! when she woke for the third time, it was still dark so I spent around 15 minutes cuddling her back to sleep, but she wasn't having any of it, so we got up to watch Peppa Pig. It was 6.30, so reasonable enough.

PT going well enough, still the occasional accident, both of them, but we tend to still pull-ups on both of them if we go anywhere for longer than an hour or so. Mimi tells us she needs to go, Joey still doesn't, he waits for us to ask him. So when I spot him walking cowboy style, it's time to go!

CB sounds like you are coping wonderfully!! A happy little family. Aw!

Rhinestone, you hang in there girl!

Lovely pics, Bloss.

Off to get me hair chopped!! Have a lovely peaceful weekend, everyone x

aGalChangedHerName · 28/11/2008 16:03

Afternoon all!!

I haven't potty/toilet trained any of mine

They have all come and told me themselves lol. The ds's were 3 and were dry day and night in around a week (with a few accidents)

Dd1 was trained over the Christmas hols wen she was 2.4 and did it really well. Far fewer accidents than the boys. Dd2 has asked 3-4 times this week to do a wee in the toilet so will probably do it over the Christmas break if she wants to.

Dd1 and mindee (boy of 6) are acting out Cinderella so thought i'd pop on here for 20 mins. Better watch all the rabid parents who hate CM's not watching their little darlings 24/7 don't catch me lol.

Actually better organise dinner for the dc's. Have a good weekend x

Been wrapping all day again-such a slow process. Putting the trees up on Sunday, can't wait. Take my mind off my missing AF but BFN. Just waiting for DH to get home then it is healthy curly fries, fish fingers and peas for DH and girls and salad, ham and curly fries pour moi avec Blossom Hill.

Watching all the Christmas DVDs here that came free with the Saturday Mail. So festive and the fire is roaring up the chimney.

Love to all.

Hello all

Yes Spin training seems like the wrong word to me. I am too lazy to train any of em!!

God HC wrapping?? I haven't even shopped yet. Well i did order Ds2's stuff for x-box 360 live and games etc from play.com and have wrapped it.

Ds1 is only getting bits cos we are putting him through his driving test atm. The dd's?? I will have to think about that. Our garden isn't any good for a trampoline or that would have been a possibility.

Was at the local school Christmas Fayre (the one the girls will go to) and i spoke to Ds1's primary 1 teacher. She thought i was joking when i said Dd1 would be going next year and nearly fainted when i said ds1 was 17 and siting his test in December lol. Prob thought i was crazy having 2 more dc!!

Going to my new friends Usbourne book party tomorrow. Wasn't all that keen till she said she was doing cheese and wine yum yum.

Better go clean kitchen and do ironing while the dd's are watching their DVD.

Have a good day all x

Lovely pix Annie, we have at least two of the tops being sported in those pictures!

paultons park to see Santa this morning, cold and wet but good fun, the boys had a great time. Went with 2 other couples and kids and had a huge sunday lunch in the pub afterwards, I can hardly move I am so full, or is that cos I am so hungover from last night? Early bed for me tonight.

Bloss

FrostyTheSnowman · 30/11/2008 22:23

Here I am with the usual Chrissy name.

Annie, such beautiful children.

Bloss, you have had a great day by the sound of it. Hungover, you? Never!

Night all.

Just popping to say a big congrats to CB!!!

I wasn't sure if this thread was still going, but I was thinking about you all just the other night. Hope you and your LOs are all fine and dandy. I'll be looking out for your big announcement RG!

PS We are definitely TTC as of last night so watch this space (but don't be holding your breath or you'll all expire).

xx

Spin, good luck with the cake! Is that actually a cake?! Bleedin Nora. You'll have to recruit kbaby...

Twinkle lovely to see you back, great news about the TTC. Did I mention my sis named her new (Huge) baby Aiden?

Bloss, hungover? What's that?

We went to the church Christmas Fayre yesterday (didn't actully realise it was going to be on - talk about involved in the church!), and there was a little Santa's grotto, so Mimi wanted to go in, Joey didn't, but I asked him to go with her to hold her hand, which he did!! Bless him! Their little faces were just amazing. They got really good books as well as presents.
I think though, that they think that was it now. That was Christmas.

Also got one costume sorted, a shepherd costume from Asda, thanks to another thread on MN!! Still working on the clog dog though.

Off to Ireland on Wednesday, so lots to do.
