Oops I have dropped off the thread aswell

Am having a really bad day today - very tired and fed up Josh missed his nap this afternoon as I had to take him to nursery to have his photo taken right around naptime - which meant that I had to keep him entertained all day and I didn't get a nap either - a combination of both of those made it a very long and hard day!!

Am SO big and uncomfortable aswell!!

Right enough of me moaning - I really should stop feeling sorry for myself!! At least I have an end in sight for which I should be thankful for!

Sorry for the me me me post but just feeling a bit today!

Morning girls!

CB, here's a hug for you. It won't be long now my dear. If it's any consolation (and it's probably not) my sister is on her way to the hospital right now as she has 'been feeling queer all morning'... Today's her due date.

Flick your poor toe!

Algach, good luck with your soiree! Sounds fun... Congrats to your ds1 too.

HC, to hear about AF and migraine. Get better soon, missus. x x x

Spin, darling, you could have been describing Mimi in your last post. Soooooo know what you mean. Although - last night, for the first time ever, I went in to her and she wanted Daddy! Not me. I think she knows that I just get grumpy with her and she gets nothing, whereas he will tell her a story or something... not too sure about the sweet nothings either!! However, can't complain too much, the last too nights have been better. Relentless feistiness though - YES! Contrary Mary I think I'll call her now.

Beadmum, hope your house of illness is all better x

Where's Rhinestone got to?!

Dropped Mimi and Joey at nursery this morning - all happy and skipping, until - we got to the door and WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!! Left her in floods of tears again... Joey was grand, and he promised to look after her. He just took off playing by himself though.
He gets very defensive of her though at home! It's really sweet actually. If she's done something like throwing or kicking me, she'll get sent to the naughty corner, and as soon as I pick her up to put her there, along comes Joey 'I'll save you Mimi' and starts hitting me!! To get her away! Even if it's something she's done to him like snatching a toy or pushing him over. Bless his heart. The only trouble is it becomes a game then, so naughty corner is not very effective...

Anyhoo, best head and do some work. For that is why I'm here... x

Spin which post on another thread? Am v worried now!! I sent you a facebook request thing the other day i think. I am rubbish with these things.

I will have to be v good on my diet(totally off the wagon) because of my gallstones and also because i have a MN meet up on the 20th of December and i so don't want to look like a fat bloater!!

Have a good one girls, mindee down for a nap and i have a dishwasher to load and washing to do.

aGalChangedHerName · 11/11/2008 12:52

Oh and Spin we will ask each stall beauty and otherwise to donate a raffle prize in addition to the set fee. My friend donated a bottle of cheapish champers and a voucher for a free manicure. That sort of thing sound ok do you think?

Algach I'm on Facebook too, find me, find me!! I'm friends with all this lot. LOL at your getting caught!! I dread the day... not that we do it much... Soz to hear about the gallstones again though.

I think we had a sleep-through last night! It didn't feel like it, as she didn't actually go to sleep til 9pm, but she didn't wake at all until 6am, though Joey did ...

So, third time in 2.4 years! She is eating Loads too these days, growth spurt, perhaps!?

agalch-you can add me as a friend on Facebook. Most of my friends are people I've met through playing games on there.

spin-you can talk about Chi anytime and especially when he has been a star.

Was on Lincs FM this morning for the mystery voice competition. Was wrong of course but was so nervous so lots of nervous laughter as the presenter asked me lots of questions. He had already asked them off air so it was a repeat conversation and I talked about all the ironing I had to do. Exciting life huh?

Must get on. Big wave to all!

i wish i had such an exciting life - even just talkong about ironing on the radio, that said i spent a wonderful couple of hours in the pub with a friend this afternoon chatting! in the nicest possible way it was a lovely break. is that awful???

jacob is still having dreadful problems sleeping - he is down with us most nights and drinking milk all through the night. I really don't know what to do. He is dry all the way through the day but pees all night long after being dry for so long at night.

Hi peeps

Go Chilli, Go! What a genius! Proud for you Spin! I know Ry is no where near any genius spectrum, bless! He's still struggling with his two languages. I think that's why he hits out and bites at time - frustration at not being able to express himself verbally. He's getting there gradually though...

Ry sometimes demands loads of milk in the night too Flick. I end up watering it down so that it's not so appealing. Hope your nights get better soon. How is Sam doing?

Not long now CB!! Hang in there. I can imagine how tough it is at the end and with a toddler...

Good luck with the pamper thing Algach.

Bless Joey for being all protective of Mimi - ahhh!

Ha ha about your Lincs FM fame HC! I'll ask me M&D to see if they were listening!

Well, must dash and do the washing up.

Hugs to all,

Impy xxx

ceebee74 · 13/11/2008 21:54

Spin of course we don't mind you talking about Ch on here - you must be so so proud of him What a little star he is and you should be shouting it from the rooftops!

HC you local celeb you Shame you didn't win though!

Flick I think Spin is right - controlled crying?? Cutting out the milk?? It sounds like he is in a bad habit and it needs to be broken somehow - I know it is easier said than done but I guess you just have to bite the bullet..........Does Sam sleep through??

Impy bless Ry - it must be so hard for him learning 2 languages but what a skill to have in the future! Josh's vocab has suddenly taken a leap forward over the last few days and we are getting full sentences like 'mummy come and help me please' (when he had climbed into the (empty) bath) rather than before it would have just been 'mummy help'

It is quiet round here without Bloss - sure she must be due home soon though.

Got Josh's nursery photo proofs back today - they are really good again Will try and take a photo of it and post it as he looks so adorable

He has got a pyjama party at nursery tomorrow for Children in Need followed by his cousin's birthday party tomorrow teatime - also, by complete coincidence, a pyjama party No need to get him changed which is fab!! His Igglepiggle PJ's are clean and ready for action tomorrow

thefortbuilder · 14/11/2008 19:27

just quickly - thanks ladies - i knew you were giong to say that and i know it has to be done.... dh is away next monday and tuesday nights so i think that is going to be a good time to start trying to break it.

sam is an angel generally with sleeping - sleeps through or if he wakes he gurgles to himself a bit and then goes back to sleep on his own, no milk. and he gets himself to sleep without milk too.

not much else to report here at all - all quiet
