New thread now we're all mums of 2yr olds!

Two brown accidents today - knew it was too good to last. First was when engrossed in Peppa Pig and stood up clutching his bottom saying "Mummmy need a wee wee on potty" second very similar except it was mid dance around the room. At least it's just not catching it in time rather than being totally unaware. I think he was as shocked as me that he hadn't made it in time!

UGG boots arrived, too small, sent them back and got next size up.

Looked at two schools today for H next year. First one was just idyllic - 86 kids, small but pefectly formed, your fantasy idea of a perfect infant school. I WANT it! Second one was 250 kids, good facilities but a bit hectic/organised chaos etc, much preferred this morning's. One more tomorrow then I will fill form in tomorrow night. Fingers x'ed.

right, off to prepare their tea. Last week of freedom before work starts. It's a mad rush this week, got to prepare for two days in Preston next week, boys back to nursery with bags packed (new drink cups, welies, toothpaste and brushes, 2 changes of clothes each etc) viewing schools, cleaning house, ironing, staying out at a friends Friday night with both boys, MIL staying Saturday night, hair and nail appt Saturday afternoon, car needs to go back to garage, friend's coming for tea tomorrow afternoon, don't know my a**e from my elbow at the moment.

spin-she is lovely and so grown up having proper conversations. Sophie is learning some words but speaks in two word sentences-bless.

Hi all - am SO bored at work!!

Spin - lovely lovely photo of Roshi - she is just beautiful and a big well done on the potty training progress so far

Bloss - same to Toby - he is doing really well. Josh still denies he is having a poo, even when he is squatting and grunting on the floor in front of us Methinks it is going to be a LONG time before we go down that route. What are you doing in Preston next week?? Is it a work thing? Where are you staying? (sorry for all these questions but thought that if you were going to be stuck in a hotel by yourself one night, we could meet up) - I live about 15 minutes away and work in Preston so would be really easy for me.

Flick - hope things have improved in the Flick household Tbh, if Josh is playing up, me and DH are usually at each others throats aswell whereas if Josh is being charming, cute, sweet etc. we are fine

Not much going on here - am now 32 weeks pg, still have so much to do to get ready for this baby and am starting dreading leaving Josh when I am in hospital - but other than that, all is good

Hey ceebee, not long to go now. Emma stayed over at mum and dad's when Soph was born. Quite nice to concentrate on just Soph before the whirlwind came home. Then when she did she seemed so big, you will really notice this when baby comes home and you have the two of them together.

CB would LOVE to meet up. Am flying up Monday morning, staying at Holiday Inn/Travel Lodge, can't remember, flying back Tuesday night. How can we exchange mobile numbers? Have forgotten my password to my Blossom yahoo account....

Have had a nightmare afternoon with H. All my fault really, knew he was too tired after a day at pre school and a run round the park to have friends over for tea and bath - he spent two hours bashing, hitting, kicking, throwing toys, ignoring me, spitting ( - a pet hate of mine) Nothing worked, he got yelled at, put outside the front door/in his room etc, it was embarassing I couldn't wait for them to go. he got sent to bed with no story and screamed himself to sleep.

On the positive side T has been such a good boy, no accidents today, asked to go on the potty in Costa Coffee, all loos full so squatted outside to do his business, and then went in the loo when one was free, not before I caught a disgusted look from another mum! FGS!, what was the poor lad supposed to do, I tell you if she had muttered anything she would have got such a gob ful from me.... GRRRRRR!

Anyhoo - have wine all is good. If I drink Monday night will you listen to my scribble CB?

bloss you'd better look out for threads about that on here isn't that what a potty is for - to do it when the loos are full???? what would she expect him to do fgs...

jacob defines his as "pee toilet" and "need to pee" accompanied by the dance which means NOW MUMMY NOW.

just sent a batch of orders off for the business! getting quite excited about the baby show too even though have a mountain of stuff to do...

Hi Ladies!!!

Last day today!!! I've done it!! Even if DH 'surprises' me with a bottle of wine tongiht (Which he has threatened to do for the whole month) I'VE DONE IT!!! YAAY!!

Crap night's sleep though the last week or so. Awake for HOURS. And, I dunno if this is good or not, it's Daddy she wants now. and . Last night she actually said, 'I don't want you in the bedwoom, mammy, go to your bed'!!??
And she sometimes calls me Mama again, which I love, but I know she's after something!! And Mam, when she's being cheeky. She knows I don't like that...

Hi Girls - sorry not been on for ages, got the parents visiting long-term so been a bit preoccupied. Will make this one a quickie as am so far behind...

Emma is turning another developmental corner I think, her speech is suddenly much better. Not that this is necessarily a good thing, her mimicking is getting altogether too slick She used to say 'thank you Mummy/Daddy/whoever' very prettily, now she takes whatever is being proffered at the time and casually says 'fanks' in a horribly adult stylee, grrrrr!
