lol - I've been checking on and off all day (wondered whether Mr DH had an iphone and could mumsnet from hospital lobby
(or do what I did because DH so useless and when we had Hattie he text everyone saying 'its a a girl' except the pillock forgot everyone knew we were having another girl and he omitted to tell name, time, weight etc etc so I text from my hospital bed once I was back from recovery and he'd dissapeared to SCBU with her that 'Hattie Alice was born at 12.16pm weighing 6lb 14oz, I'm fine shes in SCBU nothing to serious and hopefully back with me soon love M x'
oh and the plonker failed to notice my parents standing my the door to the postnatel ward and walked sraight past them (they were concerned as I was due to be back from theatre at 11.30 and didnt get back till 1pm (there was an emergency section before me) and then they could see me and no baby but nurses wouldnt let them in as it wasnt visiting until I threatened to get of the bed so I could have a hug from my Mum as I didnt have Hattie or Chris there and they let them in then
