laughalot · 24/09/2008 12:31

Yep we missed ya did you have a good time ?

theSuburbanDryad · 24/09/2008 18:15

Yeah It was great - Z went native very quickly, loved going on the back of my bike, charmed everyone in the whole of Holland and was generally a little dude throughout.

He has reverted to his usual shitbag ways since returning to the UK though.

Wilkiepedia · 24/09/2008 21:41

Glad to see you back UD.

Sorry, got to post, am shaking with...well...rage? Anger? ...god knows what but I know my hands are shaking.

Background info: was really really badly bullied at school, so bad that mum and dad had to send me to private school to get me away. One of the fcking group who bullied me has just sent me a fcking friend request on Facebook. I have just sent a message to her saying:

"Erm, no thanks. Your group made my life absolute HELL at school hence why mum and dad moved me to xx. Think I'll pass..."

I am incandescent with fcking rage at the gall of some people. Do they think cos they can click a fcking button saying 'Friend request' it erases all the damage they did all those years ago? F*ck me I am cross.

Wilkie - so for you, I was bullied pretty badly at school as well, and actually bumped into one of the girls who did it when I was first pg with Z. Turned out she had to leave school at 16 as she got pg and was about to get divorced, she had turned into quite a nice person and told me she felt terrible about what she had done to me all those years ago! We're never going to be friends but I hope I proved to her that she and her little mates never fucked my life up!

The "ring-leader" also came into a pub I worked in (this is going back 8 years or more) and I broke her nose for her. Revenge is sweet (and she's now a crack whore in South London, I'm told. Nice).

Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is that people like that can sometimes change, but the fact that she's tried to friend you like that would suggest that she's not one of them. I would be angry too, but try not to dwell on it - the more thought you give them the more they leech off you. Put it out of your mind if you can, and block any more communications from her.

theSuburbanDryad · 25/09/2008 09:33

Btw - latest pic of the Oopsie Baby!

Katw3kitts · 25/09/2008 09:34

I think what UD says is right Wilkie, its obviously come out of the blue for you and a complete shock... and of course rakes up all sorts of bad memories, but maybe she has changed and trying to make ammends. Who knows maybe she now has a daughter going through the same thing. Ignore and forget.

On a funny note I've just received a random text from someone who said ' yes lets meet later ..blah blah . ... and by the way I was in the sunday sport 4 years ago for having the largest nipples in Britain and me mam (sic)went mad.'

Not any of you ladies messing about was it ..........

Lizzzombie · 26/09/2008 07:17

Morning!
PCF - When is your due date? (have you nic named your one?)
UD - Am loving hte Oopsie Baby nic name!
Wilkie - Can you tell us her name so we can stalk her and send her lots of spam?!
KwK - Def wasn't me! Random text indeed. Did it give details of where they were meeting I'd have gone along....anything to get out of housework!

I'm going to Brighton today! Yeah! Haven't been for AGES. There is a baby Gap and baby H&M so I'm going on the nick....well, may give myself a £5 budget or something! And their is a New Look flagship store, with kids clothes! hope its sunny!

Did the 3rd night of my ultra strict CC'd crying no milk in the night and definately no coming into Mummy & Daddys bed. Nights one and two were spent on the floor in his room, and last night I was Shhing for England, but, it took about 1.5 hours but I FINALLY got there!
Fingers crossed for tonight. (am going to Abba tribute evening on the seafront and will be a bit tipsy so don't want to deal with screaming in that state!)

My Mum is coming down next week to look after DJ whilst we go to Alton Towers so he HAS got to be sleeping properly by then! Its my deadline.

Hope y'all are well.
Its been very quiet on here recently.
When is EaH back? (not saying that she is the noisy one or anything!) x

Dh just gave me my anniversary present - a new iPod Touch!! He asked me on Thursday if I wanted one, and I said no, and then changed my mind, but he said it was too late. Then he surprised me with it last night!

No idea what to get him - it is our 2nd anniversary, so cotton. He wrapped the iPod in a pillowcase for the cotton connection!

eandh · 27/09/2008 10:58

Happy anniversary UD! No idea for present except cotton pj's

All had a good nights sleep last night so feeling better today, sickness stopped but I have a stinky cold

Loaded pics on facebook, but Ellie's face resembled this when we told her, she loved all the characters (met Mickey a few times and the princesses etc etc) but hated most of the rides whereas Hattie hated the characters but loved every ride, her fav thing was the car stunt show she was going loopy clapping and yelling whilst Ellie sat with a blanket over her heqad as to loud and had fire in it and shes petrified of fire. Hotel was excellent and food was much better and cheaper than I thought (although we are having vegetables and fruit for next week and not another chip!)

ladytophamhatt · 27/09/2008 15:52

Hi girls, hope you are all well. haven't got time to catch up on the thread so apologies for gate crashing again.

Lizzzz, I want to buy this but can only get it online.
Can you give me a breakdown on how to measure myself for a bra, purrrrrlease????

I wear a 34a atm which seems to fit ok around my back but the cup can be a bit gappy.
I never spend much on bras because of my teeeny boobs so the bad fit could be because they're £4 from Asda rather then teh wrong size IYSWIM.

I want some fancy undies and I LOVE this.

Sorry I didn't get to speak to you today, I walked around and around the shop wiating to say hello properly but all those pesky customers kept you busy.
Bastards.

Lizzzombie · 27/09/2008 21:55

LTH - the best way for me to advise you is hands on! We were soooooooooo busy today I swear there are babies being hatched like little ants in Eastbourne at the moment!

Some fruit loop of a woman came in today with her 1yo in a travel system still. The child was totally grown out of it and obv uncomfortable and wanting to look at something other than her mother. I couldn't help but gawp and when she asked me for help with a stage 2 car seat I blurted out "yes, definately come with me, shes MUCH TOO BIG for that one" I convinced her that maybe now was a good time to change the travel system into a pushchair, and that no, the child was definately NOT TOO SMALL to be in a pushchair!!!!?! wtf?!
Then she asked me for a stage 2 car seat which would fit into the pushchair..... I swear some people are so odd.
I was like, "erm, no, they stay in the car, and you use the pushchair now..." Weirdo!

Eah - am off to look at euro disney photos now! Sorry to hear about the delay!

Pcf - enjoy Brighton. I was so good, I only spent £1.99 on a sun hat for Dj from Pumpkin Patch! A mate was telling me that its really worth looking at them on line as there are some great bargains there.

eandh · 28/09/2008 07:19

Oh dear just news the news about work on the TV, not so sure how long I'll have a job now

Lizzzombie · 28/09/2008 09:45

Must be very worrying, poor you. Have you got a meeting about it at work soon. x

eandh · 28/09/2008 09:51

We have to be at 8am tomorrow but thats impossible for me so I said I can get there by 8.30, if we are nationalised I need to find out whether that affects any redundancy package I have in my contract. I am just off to see if it happens if we are entitled to any benefits

ladytophamhatt · 28/09/2008 10:39

just said on teh news that you're being nationised eah.

does that mean your job is safe?

Lizzz, theres not alot to get you hands on TBH but I'll meet you on E'bourne one day ifv you like. I have all day free now DS3 is at school, I only go to playgroup on a wed morning so any day apart from that.
