Oh dear LTH, is DH home tomorrow to give you a hand ??

Know you don't do hugs so have a slap on the back and have some chocolate

ladytophamhatt · 13/09/2008 20:13

I could cry right now......

He is home but well, you know

I'm just sooooo sick of teh constant vicious circle were on. Nothing ever changes.

eandh · 13/09/2008 20:18

Come to mine - its eerily quiet (H een in bed since 6.30, E staying at my parents and DH out and not coming home) in fact its that quiet and weird I've just double locked all the doors and windows!

theSuburbanDryad · 13/09/2008 20:35

LTH - tell him if he doesn't behave I'll send Z to try and nurse from him like he did with ds3!

Wilkie - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I am off on holiday tomorrow. Woo hoo!

vinorouge · 13/09/2008 22:01

Wilkie - J will MAKE sure he gets plenty of attention as and when you have another. As e&H says the second doesn't so much for a while and in my experience once E was used to S being in the house she either ignores her or smothers her with attention (loving kisses or hefty slaps on her chest depending on how she is feeling).

Today we had the pleasure of Rgee and Pippa coming to visit but I wore Rgee out taking her on a long walk in the sunshine and Ellen snatched every toy that Pippa tried to pick up. Bit worried about how I am going to teach E to share things as she is very selfish when people come round - either snatches toys or pushes people over.

Been to Tesco this evening. What an exciting life.

I hadn't joined the thread at the time of the bog roll test. Oh how I wish I had known about it.

E& H - good news about the Eurostar, I did think about you when I heard the disney train was still going. Bet their comms guy has earned his money this weekend.

PCF - hope you get Max's bed sorted tomorrow

LTH - hello! I'll throw you a jaffa cake - have just eaten 4 in a row

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILKIE

eandh · 14/09/2008 10:01

Morning - Happy birthday wilkie

I'm bored and its only 10am, no sign of dh yet (not really expecting him home before midday) Ellie home and moaning (late night so its going to be a long day) and Hattie is fine currently playing with E ironing board and iron and doing a great job

eandh · 14/09/2008 10:02

fab bargain I've ordered 3 one for us and the other 2 for great granparents xmas presents!

Shimmer · 14/09/2008 15:03

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILKIE!!

It's a GORGEGOUS day here for a change. My mood is soooooo much better when it's sunny. F has just had a really long afternoon nap as well But think I'm going to have to wake him up in a sec or I'll never get him down this evening.

Yes I'm deffo planning another one Wilkie. The current plan is to start trying to get preggers around March next year, making the 2 DCs about 3 years apart.

I just bought 2 new pairs of gorgegous leather boots on ebay!!

theSuburbanDryad · 14/09/2008 15:06

I am sooo excited about going on holiday!! We are all packed up and ready to go, Z is having a late nap so he won't be too grumpy when we get on the boat and I should probably go and do a little bit of washing up and put the left over roast chicken into tubs for dh to make his meals with in the week!

Are you doing anything nice for your birthday Wilkie?

eandh · 14/09/2008 15:34

UD Have a LOVELY holiday (did you decide what buggy to take?)

Shimmer -links to boots please!!

Wilkiepedia · 14/09/2008 18:52

Hellloooo!

EAH - thank you for the card, it actually made me LOL

Well I had a so-so birthday. DH made me cry (he doesn't know it) because he didn't get me a card or present from J. He said he was just too busy to sort it out. I was so upset (I know it seems daft but a card surely?!?!?!?!) and he realised he had really upset me so sent me lots of grovelly texts (he was working all day).

Mum and Dad bought me an M&S Colin the Caterpillar cake (I have had one every year for the last 12 years!!!! I LOVE THEM) so that cheered me up!!

Regee/Vin - what are you doing on Sat 29th Sept? Any good for a meet up??

Feel a bit down today, not sure why, must be hormones or maybe the reality of getting older is sinking in. I wanna be 21 again.......

(UD have a great hol xx)

Happy birthday Wilkie! And boo to your DH. I always tell DH he has to get me birthday/Xmas/Mothers Day card from lo otherwise they'll be hell to pay. He obliges. Time to introduce your dh to online personalised cards for busy people. BTW I LOVE Colin caterpillar cakes, and was gutted last year when M&S had run out. Nom Nom. Did you do anything special today? If your dh was working that could be why you're a bit down.
Am away 29 Sept - have you any other dates?

Had a nice weekend. Was at Vino et al's yesterday and had a lovely time. She is looking fab! Today went to watch dh in a 10km race.

Eah glad to hear all will be fine with your Eurostar. Phew.

LAl I received my BZz iron but haven't opened it yet. Am eyeing up the pile of dry washing and debating whether, for the first time in ohhhhh...ever - to iron my clothes.

Vino you went to Tesco last night?? Ws the chicken not enough

LTH has today been any better? What happened?

Bloody ds2 isn't bloody sleeping. Bloody dh has slept in the spare room the last two nights because he's "tired" and he's on call tonight so will be in the spare room again (we've had to put ds2 back in our room because he was just waking ds1 up all night and making him grouchy). My boobs hurt. I have to work on my day off on thursday because we're short staffed. I'm going to end up eating cereal for supper because I'm too knackered to make anything else. Despite dh being off all weekend I got no bloody housework done, and no bloody exercise. I feel fat and miserable and there isn't even anything good on tv to watch. And there's just the teeniest tiniest possibility that I may be ever so slightly hormonal..... You think?

Wilkiepedia · 15/09/2008 20:12

PCF - mmmm dominos

Wilkie - give dh a from me, bet he remembers next year (although my card for my birthday said to a special mummy from your little boy ) Saw your pics on facebook love the shopping trolley one!

2happy - snap to most of your ocmments although its E being a pita at sleeping, but I had toast for tea as got in from work (manically busy because of the american bank going bust) got the girls to bed but they farted about (dh 'tried' to help but made it worse) popped to tesco as he didnt tell me he'd used last milk/bread so sat down at 8.15 with toast and crisps and feel like a bit fat lump of bleeeugh (and I'd lost some on ww the other weeks but had a very bad week last week )

Rgee I was on the counter at work today to help out and opened accoutns for twins called Pippa and Holly and thought of you

Wilkiepedia · 15/09/2008 20:39

EAH - I thought the Fruit Shoot one was very apt for my MN mates

I third the weight issues - I have put on half stone and really need to shift it. Feel awful, really sluggish and fat. Back on Core Plan for real this time. My weight has been creeping back up since Christmas when I lost all the weight doing Core and am almost back to where I was before I started

Work is looking up - they have made some changes so it looks like I will be busy!! Thank god.

Oh dear 2Happy. I love cereal. So easy and nice. Carbs are good for pmt. With chocolate on top and wine instead of milk . Does housework really matter

Eah pmsl at the twins. Such good names . Pi$$er about the financial stuff. A mate of mine worksed for Lehman Bros so thinking of them today. Wondering if it's a good or bad time to buy some bank shares.

Wilkie will pass on the chocolate buttons (2H has eaten them all anyway)but wouldn't mind a slice of Colin. Any left?

Reggiee · 15/09/2008 20:49

Wilkie glad work is improving.
