geordieminx · 10/08/2008 20:32

I bought an aria last week!!

Stick your max bid in now - then you wont be tempted to go hiher towards the end!

Eddas · 10/08/2008 20:35

it's an urban detour here i want it for walking

will bid in a bit, only 10 mins now

Eddas · 10/08/2008 20:36

how much did you pay gm? was it a bargain?

Eddas · 10/08/2008 20:37

eek just made my bid i really am sure with my luck that i will be outbid with 30 seconds to go oh well!

CaptainDippy · 10/08/2008 20:37

Evening all

Eddas · 10/08/2008 20:38

hi dippy, how are you today?

CaptainDippy · 10/08/2008 20:42

Not so ba, had a nice w/e celebrating MIL's 60th B'day Still not feeling 100% and feeling a bit panic-y and weirdy and not sure why

geordieminx · 10/08/2008 20:46

Did you win???

Got aria and foot muff for £32 inc post and packaging.

I bought one a few months ago for £16 inc a group 0 car seat which I binned for £16. It was supposed to be just for hollies but we both love it!!

Eddas · 10/08/2008 20:47

glad you had a nice weekend. sorry you're still feeling odd {{{hugs}}}}

as predicted i got outbid with 30 seconds to go oh well, you were right gm, i put in my max bid so didn't want to spend more. something else will come along. I'm not desperate am seriously wondering when my luck will change

geordieminx · 10/08/2008 20:48

I'm sure one will come up soon - good bargins on pick up only usually.

CaptainDippy · 10/08/2008 20:50
Eddas · 10/08/2008 20:50

there is this one which is nearer than the other one. only thing is it says wheel wobbles slightly when pushed at speed. but i'm not gonna be walking fast

CaptainDippy · 10/08/2008 20:53

PillockOfTheCommunity · 10/08/2008 20:56

I had an Urban Detour with a wheel wobble - it gets worse over time!

OP posts:
Eddas · 10/08/2008 20:57

it did put me off potc. i think it'd be better not to have a wobble since it'll get a battering walking through fields etc

geordieminx · 10/08/2008 20:57

I'm sure you could tighten the wheel a bit eddas - I reckon that one will be cheaper - its prettier too!!

this is the one I won

I love the play tray thing as can load it with sausage rolls, smarties and fruit shoot organic museli snacks to keep C quiet entertained

PillockOfTheCommunity · 10/08/2008 21:00

never bothered me tbh Eddas - but Skott hated it! We tried tightening it but it was something more fundamental than that. Also meant that it kept sticking onto locked instead of swivel wheel

Eddas · 10/08/2008 21:01

I do like the red and it has a raincover.

nice pushchair gm, i loved my graco which i had for dd because of the tray. much easier than handing things to them one by one like i do with ds

Eddas · 10/08/2008 21:02

i'm gonna keep watching and if it goes for under £20 then i might go for it and chance it doesn't matter if it lasts for a few months if it hasn't cost too much

PillockOfTheCommunity · 10/08/2008 21:04

Only other thing with the Urban Detour was that the harness straps don't go very big. I struggled to get M strapped in from quite young.

I gave it to a MNer who needed a pushchair for her 5 yr old as he had an op and couldn't go dog walking for a while without sitting in it - otherwise I'd still be using it for walking the footpaths round here

geordieminx · 10/08/2008 21:09

This is my 5th pushchair.....
