the cavalry (DH) is on its way. I would sod the kitchen izzy, but our neighbour is coming in to feed the cat every day and the whole kitchen stinks from repeated grinding of soggy cat food into the floor by DD. It is in need of a good scrub and a bleach.

The ironing isn't a major issue as there is an iron in the cottage. I'll pack it unironed and iron as required when we are there.

Still feeling grim with nasty painful stomach cramps though

I thought this morning, bet Daisy needs the kitchen clean before neighbour comes to feed cat. Been there, done that. (I may have the tshirt but it isn't ironed )

Hope you start feeling better very soon.

FrazzledFairyFay · 24/07/2008 15:36

for poorly ones, and of holidays

I had a lovely coffee with Andiem this morning - the world is now put to rights .

DD is still with the GPs so Ds and I wandered around the shops and he is now sitting on the floor playing with his bricks without fear of them being taken away from him - he's loving it!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 24/07/2008 16:13

jamlet just pulled a le crueset casserole dish out of the cupboard while i was in the other room . She cried but only until I picked her up so I don't think she can have hurt herself badly?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 24/07/2008 16:21

I've checked her feet against each other and they look the same, so she's either broken both of them or neither of them.

FrazzledFairyFay · 24/07/2008 16:22

It was probably the shock of the loud noise that made her cry. If she's not still crying then I'm sure she'll be fine.

andiem · 24/07/2008 16:23

jammy I'm sure she will be fine

hi fairy

jst got back from very hot picnic int he park now have my shorts on
2 older ones playing on ds and ds2 down for a nap so time for a sit down methinks

LackaDAISYcal · 24/07/2008 16:33

jammy, I'm sure she is fine. DS dropped a 500g tub of E45 cream on his toe at about this age and boy did he let me know about it. It swelled up pretty quickly and his nail went all black and blue and eventaully came off. I'm sure if the casserole had hit her feet you aould notice it.

It might deter her from digging in the cupboard in future though if she got a fright

OP posts:
JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 24/07/2008 16:58

A sit down sounds good Andiem.

I think it might have just been the shock made jamlet cry, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with her.

I went out with another man this afternoon I went to see a friend but she was at work and her DH was home instead, so he & their DS came to the park with me & the jamlet.

andiem · 24/07/2008 18:53

jammy there will be gossip
I went to the park after school on tuesday with a friends dh and we sat on a rug together I'm sure all the other mum's thought we were at it

but we do have a couple of scandals at school at the moment with people shagging around so I think imaginations are a bit fertile

Izzybel · 24/07/2008 20:35

Blimey, you lot are quiet this evening!

Hope you are feeling better this evening Daisy and that the horrible tummy cramps have gone!

LOL @ Andie and Jammy going out with other men!

Well next door came round this afternoon. She came with a list of questions about the dog and asked if she can have the weekend to think about it. I have said that that is fine as it is not a decision to take lightly. She is really missing her dog though and is excited at the thought of maybe having another. I think she is just worried about the fact that my dog is a bitch and hasn't yet been spayed, so she still goes into season, and she will want to look into having it done.
I think she probably does want her though, which I will be glad about because her dog always used to look happy and well looked after

LackaDAISYcal · 24/07/2008 20:39

Great news about the dog izzy; fingers crossed for you.....and at least it's not an out and out NO!

I'm feeling a little better; had something to eat at teatime and so far so good and the cramps have died down. Still not packed though and feeling really weak and pathetic. I'm sure DH thinks it's just an excuse to get out of packing

izzybel iheartsunloungers has been stalking and harrasing electricbarbarella since Monday afternoon. It's all been a bit tawdry and not very nice. Every time MN ban her, she pops up with a slightly different name and must be using a proxy IP address so they can't tell it's her each time . Apparently she played a similar stunt with littlelapin recently as well, the sad case that she is.

didn't want to post this in the other thread and continue feeding the troll!

OP posts:
Izzybel · 24/07/2008 21:01

No you were right not to continue posting! What a weirdo! I know who it is now as I had a look on the other thread about the Sean Slater dream. What a nasty trouble maker! I'm sure she must be doing it just for laughs and thankfully EB sounds like she is taking it in her stride, but it could be scary!
Glad you are feeling better and I hope DH is letting you have a rest!

Off to bed to watch BB
Hope you have a great holiday!

LackaDAISYcal · 24/07/2008 21:12

thanks...i will be going in my jammies if I don't get a move on with the packing. DH has done his and DS's; it's up to me now.

NattyPlusTwoAndaHalf · 24/07/2008 22:39

hi guys
had a very bad day, i miscarried this afternoon and spent 3 hours in a&e.
i am devestated, naturally, and have been crying all evening.

DKMA · 24/07/2008 22:45

OMG Natty
You must be so
I am so sorry I know that's not going to make it better - just don't know what to say

ElectricDAISYcalella · 24/07/2008 22:47

oh, natty
I'm so sorry lovely. Words are so ineffective, but I'm thinking about you.

Take Care and look after yourself.

NattyThomasAndEllen · 24/07/2008 22:47

thank you DKMA, its ok, i will be fine just very atm. was a shock to me as i felt fine till it happened.

ElectricDAISYcalella · 24/07/2008 22:48

my 2nd mc was like that natty; in fact I'd been feeling great.

{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}

NattyThomasAndEllen · 24/07/2008 22:51

thank you daisy. the hospital was awful. they saying i was never pregnant, despite the home tests, because nothing came up on their urine test. they took bloods and i gotta go in for a scan. i just fell totally shocked, and i have no closure, as i dont know what is going on

LackaDAISYcal · 24/07/2008 22:57

Natty it could have been a chemical pregnancy? where your body thinks it's pregnant and starts producing hormones, but it isn't really. I'm pretty sure my 2nd was like this as my urine test was negative at the EPU as well. They never even scanned me or did bloods though. It doesn't make it any easier though; for a few weeks you still think you are pregnant and still make all the plans and still grieve for a lost baby

OP posts:
NattyThomasAndEllen · 24/07/2008 23:00

tmi here but... i passed a large lump of tissue, texture of chicken. the bleeding has stopped now, and it was more like a very large gush, similar to waters breaking, and i bled very heavliy for 4 hours.
so i dont know? does that sound like an actual one?

LackaDAISYcal · 24/07/2008 23:04

not sure natty; I never looked at anything I passed, but it sounds like it

I'm sure the lovely ladies on the miscarriage avengers thread will have more advice for you. They are a great bunch.

DKMA · 24/07/2008 23:33

Oh Natty - I hope you can manage to get some rest tonight - I bet your head is whirring

Night night.
