The camera itself is not much different but it has a full frame sensor which is like the holy grail in digital cameras.

I plan to sell my old one on Ebay... maybe... I do love it so! Not yet decided but will probably sell it. If I get the good camera I will sell it with a lens (as they aren't compatible), if I get the cheaper camera I will sell it body only.
My old one is a 20D. Not exactly entry level (well it's 4 years old so pricewise it is) but functionality wise it's more serious hobbyist/semi pro.

If you are interested I will look at how much they are worth. It's been loved and cherished like you can probably imagine though! And was serviced and cleaned on the inside a couple of years ago.

If only I could decide... DH says I can have whatever I want, greed makes me want the good one, speed makes me want the cheaper one as the 5d mark II hasn't even been released yet and no idea when it will be.

HellHathNoFury · 20/08/2008 10:00

I would need to sell about 10 photos depending on how much they sold for... it would pay for itself in about 2 years for sure, even if I didn't sell very many photos.

I killed the thread with boring camera chat.

LackaDAISYcal · 20/08/2008 12:12

lots of visitors so had to put MN away

DD is being a right old grump due to teething and I'm at a loss as to how to entertain her. She just isn't interested.

Lunch and then bed for her, and as I'm DS free I might have a snooze myself.

I have just taken delivery of a lovely bunch of flowers from my, very much under-appreciated , lovely DH since I've been feeling poorly and am disappointed that I'm not driving to London today. There are also a couple of little bunches from the DCs as well

OP posts:
andiem · 20/08/2008 18:36

well done on the tester forms daisy

had a request to return the one isofix car seat I really want to keep so asked if I could keep it and they said yes straightaway

norty I have to return the mamas and papas but haven't heard about the maxi cosi yet if you know what colour you are having it might be suitable

hello foxy is your dh still awol mine is off next week

LackaDAISYcal · 20/08/2008 18:44

If norty isn't interested in the maxicosi then i might be andie. Is it a second stage one? and what others do you have, if any? I'm feeling guilty that virgil will get an isofix seat but poor DD and DS won't! although i have tried to source just an isofix booster seat on it's own and they don't appear to exist!

Hello

Hope the meet-up was good on Friday. I was a bit to miss it but I had promised the boys the Armouries (I liked the Lord of the Rings display best. The rest was a bit "similar")

DH had his pre-hospital picnic in Roundhay and saw the meet-up.

Anyway, is everyone well? Any news?

LackaDAISYcal · 20/08/2008 18:51

Hey Ria

good to see you back with us. DH should have said hello

I thought the exhibition was from the Narnia films....oh well! DS won't care what he is looking at (we promised we would take him at the weekend to make up for not going to London)

It is all a bit samey isn't it? but the elephants and horses are good!

OP posts:
sillyRiaforgothernickname · 20/08/2008 18:58

There's Narnia too, but I haven't seen that.

I am using the PC at my Mums and baggins is getting a bit pissed off cos Grandad's not here to play with. I'll have to go home and feed the big boys soon I suppose.

I have FB'ed you daisy. I did the big brave clearout of baby clothes yesterday. DH has offered to have the snip if I've made my decision so that I don't have to keep my implant and get fatter, but it's not what I WANT to decide, it's just the sensible decision. ARSE.

sillyRiaforgothernickname · 20/08/2008 18:59

I meant I haven't seen the Narnia film. I saw the swords...

sillyRiaforgothernickname · 20/08/2008 19:02

Must go as baggins yelling.
I'll try to log on tomorrow.
Hi to everyone who isn't about just now.

hi daisy the maxi cosi is a 0+ and pinky/red so only for littlies don't have any bigger ones left as dh gave one to a colleague at work and the other has been returned

foxythesnowfox · 20/08/2008 19:50

umm, sorry Daisy. Only went to my folks so doesn't really count as RL. Thank God.

will you bloody well stop feeling guilty about sodding car seats Woman!!!!

Shitey shite Holly about the driving test.

Congrats JBM. delighted for you.

righto, half an hour with my personal trainer.

No, not really.

LackaDAISYcal · 20/08/2008 19:52

would that be with the Wii fit foxy?

I suppose you could always imagine it's Chris Hoy or some other suitably equipped olympian

No worries andie. DH will be glad I have no excuse to spend more money!

OP posts:
foxythesnowfox · 20/08/2008 19:59

he has a ponytail FFS. The wii trainer, not Chris Hoy.

How's things going with DS? Did those books help you along at all?

LittleMissNorty · 20/08/2008 20:01

Andie - will probably still be interested....if its a girl it will match DDs 2nd stage seat and if its a boy, I can buy a different cover. Dinner - back later x

LittleMissNorty · 20/08/2008 20:03

I was able to keep all my highchairs - even thhe M&P ones so all my testers have had one each (except the Nuna which no-one wanted but have enve managed to get rid of that one to someone who thought it "would match her kitchen" .....
