Sorry for the insensitive comment, I can't go out because the sun is too hot!

Afternoon ladies

Got an e-mail just now that I thought I'd share with you all as it made me (for the first time today.

MY LIVING WILL
Last night, my friend and I were sitting in the living room and I said to her, 'I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the plug.'

She got up, unplugged the Computer, and threw out my wine.

She's such a bitch.....

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 19/08/2008 14:12

Norty - that made me smile too
Sputnik - you can go right off some people you know!

HellHathNoFury · 19/08/2008 14:21

I have gained 5 lbs, I am disgusting.

But I can't seem to stop buying cookies wholesale and eating them all.

I think my willpower is my downfall.

I am going swimming tonight. Hell yeah.

I'm still about 5lbs down on my pre-pregnancy weight

although, if one more person tells me how huge I am I'm going to smash their faces. At lease once a day I have people asking how long I have to go and when I say just under three months I get "really" "I would've thought more like three weeks"...grr insensitive bastards. And one of them from a woman with a five week old baby. I think people forget just how big they actually were just before giving birth.

thanks for your comment sputnik, you lovely lady

and lol norty, that is funny, although the liquid in my case would be diet coke at the minute!

Storm I can appreciate that the fife coast isn't the best place for you if you crave sunshine, lol

took the DCs to soft play, paid £6 for the privelege and then had to leave after half an hour as DD kept trying to escape out of the baby bit and get into the older kiddie bit and there was no way I could get in there to get her out. DS is less than impressed.
At one point though a bunch of women had been sitting in the toddler bit, with littlies and babies. They got up and went and sat at a table, leaving a sleeping toddler just lying there, with his cuddly over his eyes and all these kids charging around about him. I wasn't sure whether he was with them or not as they just ignored him, so I eventually went and told the staff about it. They couldn't even see him from where they were sitting. What sort of parent would do that?

I think I can equal your score at MN bingo, Bumper. I have met Andie, Bumper, Lilkel, Fury, Annobal, Foxy, Zelda and Norty.

If you are still down on your pre-preg weight at 6 months Daisy, just think, when that babba comes out, you'll be positively svelte!

LackaDAISYcal · 19/08/2008 17:01

Not if I keep eating balls of mozarella cheese as a tasty snack jammy .

But, yes, that's the theory. I must do better on crap snacks.

Not being allowed to get in with her wasn't the problem Storm....it was the not being physically able to get in with her!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 19/08/2008 19:33

That means I've met you. And I've also met Bumper. I don't score very high on MN bingo

HellHathNoFury · 19/08/2008 19:39

Jammy I am sorry!
Doh!

I was thinking that I was sure I missed someone!!

I am gutted about thursday. I really wanted to show off introduce DS

LackaDAISYcal · 19/08/2008 19:43

I've met bumper, derlor and trace....and I will meet Ria one day if it kills her me

and the rest of you......I may take a motherhood sabbatical and do a MN tour of the country

I've also met bouncingturtle and kiskidee at the BFing picnic, justjules last week for coffees, and squonk, bellavita, soremummy and a couple of others whose names escape me at the Yorkshire picnic....and my RL bessie mate also MNs, but I knew her first.

Do I win? or is it just this thread we are talking about?

Is it very wrong to have eaten six packets of caramel snackajacks today .

Bumperlicious · 19/08/2008 20:02

Oh I've met annobal and zelda too, I forgot. Does that make me the winner?

Do you, there are so many thousands of women using this but I don't know anyone in RL (apart from those I met through here obvs) who use it, except for my friend Lcy, and that's only coz I got her into it (haven't heard from her in 2 days so assuming all stations are go after her sweep).

HellHathNoFury · 19/08/2008 20:08

bahhhhhh Bumper and Daisy win

pppfffhhhhhh

I am allowed to buy a new camera for my birthday....hmmm how much shall I spend.....

LackaDAISYcal · 19/08/2008 22:13

depends how much you can justify a high priced one fury.......now your pictures are selling the more expensive the camera the better imvho

where is everyone tonight?

I've been doing my M&B tester forms 11 down, 7 to go I thought I'd done some of the nappies, but it turned out only two! typical of me to leave it all to the last minute. I hope I'm giving enough information, but the skincare stuff was a bit samey really. Nappies are much more involved.

I've got some BFC homework to do as well so I'll be a bit busy over the next week or so!

Had the teatime/bedtime from hell with DS. i thought we were getting somewhere but he is being really stroppy about food and refused to eat. I asked him to go to the step and he refused so I asked him to go to his room. He got really angry and aggressive and threw a handful of veg across the table at me and then tried to shake Dd out of her highchair on the way past and she started screaming in fright. I caught him at the bottom of the stairs and slapped his backside for him. not my proudest moment but aggression towards Em is totally unacceptable and there was no talking to him. He came back downstairs and apologised to both me and Em, and then after 10 minutes kicked off again so I sent him up to bed this time......and he kept on arguing and screaming and slamming doors and snatching his jammies (as "payback"...wtf?) and then screaming at me all the usual stuff about being ignored and geting no attention and it wasn;t him there was something in his brain making him bad and he had no control over it as his brain controls him. i was shaking with rage by this time but managed to walk away. I dont know what comes over him, I really don't. aaaaaarrrrrrgggggghhhhhhh.

Fury, Foxy, those v over due or large babies any help here?

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 20/08/2008 08:54

Bumper, I've posted on Lcy's thread. She seems really anxious, bless her!

HellHathNoFury · 20/08/2008 09:08

I know how she feels, it's pretty crap going so far over, the dr's and mw's just want to be safe but they really do bully once you get to 13/14 days over.

Daisy I am thinking about the EOS 40D but deep down I want the 5D (or it's replacement - due out in Sept/Oct).

Trouble is, one is about £1000 more than the other and not sure if I can justify that cost!!

LackaDAISYcal · 20/08/2008 09:29

think how many photos you would need to sell to make that £1000 fury and then weigh up if it's worth it. Is it really that much better a camera?

what you doing with your old one?......as DH is hankering after an entry level digital SLR. He has a Fuji 6500 (?) that is a sort of halfway house between fixed lens and SLR, but I know he's after a proper SLR at some point.

bumper, no advice but i'll pop over with some positive words for Lcy

GPs are taking DS until tomorrow again....yay!

Bumperlicious · 20/08/2008 09:32

Thanks for your help guys. I know is desperate for a home. I'm feeling anxious for her at the moment. It's just the whole not knowing that makes it all harder.
