I bought a MAHOOSIVE bottle of white zinfandel from Tesco for a fiver (twice the size of a normal bottle.)

In fact, does anyone know who prices/chooses the Tesco stuff? I think/ I owe him a Blow job......

OP posts:
LadyBee · 25/07/2008 16:51

VS!
Have you started on that zinfandel then

DS has just done the most massive feed and is now clinging to me and swaying like a drunken sailor. Most romance I've had in a while

Sal22 · 25/07/2008 17:54

VS, love your dinner. I wanted to come and brag that I had a late lunch of ice cream with espresso poured over it, together with some bread dipped in olive oil/balsamic vinegar (for the healthy side of lunch, you see... ), but yours beat mine.

Oh Ladybee, that sunch a brilliant thing to say. Think you should print out this page (not all, the poor boy will have a heart attack if he reads our discussions) and stick that sentence in his album for years to come!

VictorianSqualor · 25/07/2008 19:15

Just started

OP posts:
bearmama · 25/07/2008 20:19

VS I am at your dinner!

Just read your thread about Alex - Ellis has gone to sleep on her side and is almost on her belly. All this in the last couple of days. Happens so fast doesnt it?

scorpio1 · 25/07/2008 20:37

Agree with routine thing - i know roughly when Mimi will want feeding, but as for naps - well when she wants them and when she can grab them, lol. She is going down for the night ealrier and earlier now, but still waking at 7

Had a happy bonus Tax Credits owe US money, yay!! (makes a change)

Has been so hot here today. Mimi had second lots of jabs today, then we went to the park, etc. Still no period; are they supposed to be regular? Last one was over 6 weeks ago - think DH wants to ttc - just little comments he is making....Last night he said that BF was the best thing ever - was as before having the baby he thought it was odd and babies who were BF were 'clingy' etc - now he says its fab and wishes i had done it before

VictorianSqualor · 25/07/2008 20:39

I just read that on last 15 mnutes, and it said 'VS I am at your dinner' I thought you were sitting at my table

Yep REALLY quick, Alex has just gone to bed, rolled straight onto his belly.

(arghh, freak out, I went to write 'side' but typo'd to 'die' twice, I know it means nothing, but things like that freak me out)

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 25/07/2008 20:40

Are you ok VS?

VictorianSqualor · 25/07/2008 20:40

Awwww scorpio (find it weird calling you Scorpio on here as I'm used to your real name in emails!)

Glad he is loving it too, DP had no opinion when I was pg but is totally pro-bf now.

OP posts:
VictorianSqualor · 25/07/2008 20:41

Yeah, I'm fine.

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 25/07/2008 20:42

Same here, lol

Glad you ok, just havent been on here in a few days and didnt know if i had missed something....

EllieG · 25/07/2008 20:44

[sings in chirpy cockney sparra voice]

I'm getting married in the morning.....

Well the afternoon actually, 4pm to be precise.
Can't believe this time tomorrow I'll have another husband! Who would've thought it. Was supposed to be that had two marriages and a baby before I hit 30, but DP spoiled that with his heart attack meaning that wedding was after my birthday. Bang go my chances to get on Jeremy Kyle....

Wish me luck for tomorrow ladies! Molly is getting christened at the same ceremony - job lot! I think I am excited but there has been so much to do for the last few days that I haven't really had the chance to be!

Btw - all of you who want more babies - you're mad. I adore my Molly-moo, but I will NEVER want another one. Ever. I am much too tired and never want a baby again. Ever. Ever.

EllieG · 25/07/2008 20:46

VS is one of your children called Bobby? That's a great name - so cool

scorpio1 · 25/07/2008 20:47

Ellie WOW!!!! (soz i forgot )

Bet you are soooo excited!!!

BTW, i swore i wasnt having any more after my first nightmare baby - now look, lol!

VictorianSqualor · 25/07/2008 20:48

LOL, bet that changes Ellie.
I said that after Dd, and DS1.....

Good luck for tomorrow though!

EllieG · 25/07/2008 20:48

Oh and happy birthday Mum2babyroo!

(am gradually reading down thread - hence many messages. Should really save them up for one longer one sorry)

EllieG · 25/07/2008 20:49

Thank you! Nope. One is plenty. Can't imagine loving another one like I do my Mol anyway, I'm not sure there's room [whispers] There's barely room for poor old DP...

VictorianSqualor · 25/07/2008 20:50

Yes, Ellie, Ella, Bobby and Alex. Bobby is after my Dad, his name was Robert but everyone called him Bobby.
I really love it, it's so normal but different iyswim.

Oh, Ella has changed her surname, we've just sent off the stuff for deed poll. To DP's surname (her choice, she has been asking for ages and it makes sense to do it before sept so they can change it at school, school is aware and I just have to take her deed poll certificate in the first day)

OP posts:
EllieG · 25/07/2008 20:56

That's lovely. I bet your fella is really chuffed too.

I'm not taking DP's name (been down that route in first marriage and now am back using maiden name am not changing again) but Molly will change hers so is the same as DSD and DP. I think that's important to them and I don't really mind having a different name to her. I just don't want it to me me and Molly vs DP and DSD, and want DSD and her to be proper sisters not half.

VictorianSqualor · 25/07/2008 21:00

I think he is going to propose on my birthday, but I can't let him know I know iyswim.
It's not til january and we've been talking loads about weddings but he said something cryptic about my birthday next year being special and a new beginning or something.
He is dead chuffed, his and DD's relationship is good, but could be stronger and I think this shows they are both willing, just it can be uncomfortable at times.

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 25/07/2008 21:04

it is sweet - DH has PR for ds1. Would like to hypenate his surname, but dont really mind - he knows we are his family iyswim.

scorpio1 · 25/07/2008 21:04

another preggers bride for this thread?? lol

EllieG · 25/07/2008 21:04

Takes a while to build a bond. How long have you guys been together? I find I have to point out to DP sometimes that I haven't known DSD as long as him and that he's had 9 years to bond, whereas I've had 3, and relationships change all the time. Is great your DP and DD are willing to try their best though, warms the old cockles. (Either that or it's the enormous G&T am drinking doing it)

Right, am off to stick some pics in my 'Molly's first year book' or as DP calls it my, 'Molly Book of obsession'. Next time I'm on here I'll have a DH! Cor.

scorpio1 · 25/07/2008 21:06

Have a fab day!!! We want lots of pics

VictorianSqualor · 25/07/2008 21:07

2 years, I totally understand the time thing, especially as with Dd i had such severe post natal depression I feel I bonded with her like a step-parent would, rather than a parent iyswim. I don't love her because she is mine but more because she is special to me, hopefully you step-mummys will get this.
