LOL at title POTC. Especially as dh and once managed to collapse a with tent with "WSBA" when we first got together We now have a bigger tent and a 15 month old to put paid to those kind of shenanigans.

I am pissed off/stressed. K has woken up with a really high temp - again. She is not herself at all. Have given her nurofen and she has gone back to sleep.

She was like this 3 weeks ago. She can't possibly have yet another virus fgs. Surely having been at nursery for 7 months would have given her some resistance. No-one else seems poorly there.

This is probably pay-back for the fact I never breastfed

Morning SOL, sorry to hear K is poorly again. But I really don't think it can just be about feeding methods - babies' health on here seems to be more about luck, or bad luck, than anything.

D's helping his grandmother to walk his Uncle Scruff (my joke as my mum's dh treats the dog like his precious youngest baby). I've sent dp back to bed, and my brother and his dp aren't up yet. So all very quiet.

Morning SOL, I'm so sorry K is ill again Hopefully it will be nothing as T's seems to have been (keeping my fingers crossed). Hope she wakes up chirpy and cooler. Couldn't ignore your last bit, hope you're not really worried about that sort of thing, if you are serious then I don't think bf offers any protection against that sort of thing (I think they are less likely to be admitted because of D&V) - it certainly doesn't seem to be helping much with T!

I am just at a loss and grabbing at straws. She does seem to have been susceptible to high temps since the MMR which was 5 weeks ago. Again grabbing at straws,but is seems quite a coincidence.

Had a dreadful night with T, obviously he wasn't well last night and I'm hoping that is why.
didnt go to bed till 10, fed all night, seemed to be wide awake a few times around 3. I woke up aching from the neck down.
So where is DH - yes, you guessed, still in bed!!!!

SOL, it is not anything to do with the fact that you didn't BF K. Don't even think about blaming yourself. She may well be a bit run down and taking a while to get over the MMR. Viruses are rife just now, especially with the weather so changeable and damp. F has a cold, as do my parents. It is nothing you did or did not do, it is just bloody bad luck. So there, consider yourself told!!

Dh and I had a chat last night. I am fed up with the fact that we just don't seem close anymore. We used to have a fab relationship, and I know having children changes things, but surely it doesn't have to be this way? I just feel that we exist together in the same house, doing all the mundane stuff, but with nothing nice inbetween. He didn't even realise (typical man), and because I started speaking about it he thought I wanted to finish things . I really don't and he made me cry I just think that if we are really going to go through with emigrating, our relationship needs to be rock solid first. I am not going half way around the world to be more miserable than I am here!

Yes, he did see what I meant, just hadn't seen it as a problem. He said he will try harder. I am not expecting romantic gestures, he is just not like that, but a little bit of affection now and then would be nice. I just feel as if we are living completely separate lives, only under the same roof iykwim.

MJ, dh and I are the same. We exist together in the house. We both know it. We also used to have a great relationship before the girls, and I know we still can - well I think we can. The thought of splitting up makes me sick to the stomach and not an option. But I do sometimes yearn for that lust feeling to come back and to have fun again.

K has woken up and her temp has gone and she seems to be on top form. Let's hope she is over it.

I feel the same SOL, I think we could get things back on track (and I really hope we can). I hate the fact that I feel I exist purely to be a mum and general housekeeper just now.
