Morning all.

Eddas, glad to hear you are feeling brighter. Wish I could come to yours on Saturday. Very of the pair of you going out!!

SOL, I know what you mean about planning. Haven't done a spreadsheet (don't know how to!!), but trying to co-ordinate days out, eating, child care and work is a nightmare!

Ds is going off with his aunt and uncle at 10am. They are taking him out for the day, which will be nice for me! They are so lovely with him and he absolutely adores them

That's it for me just now. Have a good day all xxx

mammyjo · 21/07/2008 09:00

Hi SPB, how is T doing? Did look for your rash thread last night but couldn't find it. Hope you are ok

StealthPolarBear · 21/07/2008 09:03

hi mj
hope you enjoy your day
he is spotty all over but otherwise OK. Slept better last night as well
Taking bets as to the appearance of the Apr 09 antenatal thread!

mammyjo · 21/07/2008 09:06

April '09! Where is my life going?!
Glad T is ok in himself.

mammyjo · 21/07/2008 09:22

SOL, I meant to add that I was pleased to read you had a good time with your brother. Are they over for a while, or back to Singapore again soon?

mammyjo · 21/07/2008 09:28

The April 09 thread means that it is very nearly two whole years since I first started April 07. My life has changed a lot in those two years

StealthPolarBear · 21/07/2008 09:34

i forgot that was you!
can't see one yet but it shouldn't be long - i conceived at end of july (sorry tmi!) and was due at end of april.

CaptainDippy · 21/07/2008 09:55

Hi Mammyjo and SPB

Hope T's rash better soon.

CaptainDippy · 21/07/2008 10:44

Poor T SPB

I'm ok - ish ....

StealthPolarBear · 21/07/2008 11:00

Only ish [worried]
T is fine, is as happy as normal just covered in spots! They are inside his ear and nose!

CaptainDippy · 21/07/2008 11:24

Still not very well and still anxious and panic-y. Silly woman I am.

elkiedee · 21/07/2008 11:31

Poor T. Must hassle dp to arrange D's MMR appointment though, can't keep putting it off forever.

Eek at the thought of an April 2009 thread.

I rang back the antenatal clinic this morning. I think I want to try and have the baby whatever the results (dp and I have discussed and agreed this) but that I need to know something sooner rather than later or I'll feel everything's just on hold until I do and that will be harder for us all (including D) than even knowing something we can prepare for. So I'm going for the earlier testing option.

CVS can be done up to 14 weeks ie by next Monday, and the woman at the clinic (wouldn't you hate to have her job) is booking me in for the test this Thursday. Apparently they're done by a very experienced consultant obstetrician at my hospital. They should be able to give me the most important result by next Monday.

elkiedee · 21/07/2008 11:32

Dippy, did you get to see your GP? Sorry if you've posted about it before.

AngeG · 21/07/2008 11:33

Hi Elkie - Glad you've spoken to the clinic. Will be thinking of you on Thursday.xx

Eddas · 21/07/2008 11:34

you're not silly at all cd {{{hugs}}}

I'm hoping to make it on saturday. I will try not to drink too much on friday night

SPB, T sounds like my ds after his mmr. Poor little thing had spots everywhere but was ok in himself. They didn't last long. Infact one evening he had a few, next morning was covered, but by that evening had a few and next morning they were gone. so hopefully t's will be gone tomorrow.

hi mj and ange

Eddas · 21/07/2008 11:39

x-post elkie, thinking of you on thursday x

StealthPolarBear · 21/07/2008 11:43

Dippy, sending hugs (and I don't do that much!)
elkie, glad you are having the test this week. I would be exactly the same - whatever the decision I would rather know and be able to do all the preparation as soon as possible - completely understand the 'on hold' feeling. Will be thinking about you.
Eddas - thanks. That sounds very hopeful. He has been fine, slightly more grouchy than normal, and sleep has, predictably, gone completely wrong! 10pm last night, but didn't actually sleep that bad once he was asleep. The night before he was wide awake at 3 - I had to pin him down and pretty much force feed him till he gave up and went back to sleep ;)

CaptainDippy · 21/07/2008 11:52

Hugs appreciateed

Glad you managed to get hold of clinic, Elkie - will be thinking of you on Thurs, try not to get too fretful sweetie.xxxx

Anyway, DD1 has her pre-school end of year presentation in a min so need to grab P and get out of here. I'll try not to cry too much. Can't believe she is going to school in Sept

StealthPolarBear · 21/07/2008 11:59

Enjoy the presentation!

StealthPolarBear · 21/07/2008 12:05

Proud mummy moment - had to share, DS has started doing fish impressions when we ask what fish do! He has also named one of his toys "jorj"
