Ooh, what happened with ebay eddas? Sorry to hear you are struggling with your chocolate eating

Oooggs, I only use the run of the mill stuff, calpol and nurofen. I may try bonjela if it is the teeth, or teething powders. I have got chamomile ones from boots which seem to calm F down (when I can get it into her that is).

Pisha, glad you had a fab holiday. Welcome back

Ouch to burnt cheeks oooggs.

I am still up despite it being past my bedtime, waiting for the phone to ring!

mammyjo · 22/07/2008 22:47

Bet you are all cosy in bed aren't you?

AngeG · 22/07/2008 23:05

Read and not retained much as usual!

MJ - Good Luck for the interview. Will probably be in bed by the time you have it!

Oooggs - I use the same as MJ but also use anbesol liquid for teething pain, it has a local anaesthetic (sp) and it worked well on my ulcer last week. Seems to help Izzy's teeth as well. Bless E being on DH's pillow.

Pesha - Glad you had a good holiday.

Eddas - Hope you're feeling better soon.

SOL - Hope you're feeling better soon too.

That's it I can remember no more. Off to bed now. Will be thinking of you MJ when I'm reading my book!

Night all xxx

mammyjo · 22/07/2008 23:51

What a load of crap. They called me for the interview, then said that if I didn't have a definite date for actually emigrating (they knew I didn't because I had made that clear in the emails I sent), then there was little point in interviewing me and they would put my name and CV on file for a later date.
I am so pissed off, especially because I have to get back up again in six hours to go to work. AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH.

elkiedee · 23/07/2008 00:17

aarrrgghhh mj, how annoying.

We should be in bed but it took dp a very long time to settle D after we got home, about 11.10 - 25 mins short of the record.

I now have my appointment at the hospital at 9 am on Thursday morning.

Sexonlegs · 23/07/2008 07:47

I m going to fucking kill B in a minute. She is out of control this morning.

I cannot bear the thought of the school holidays

MJ, what a pita. I am really disappoined for you.

Back later. xx

AngeG · 23/07/2008 08:06

Oh no MJ. How annoying. Hope you managed to get some sleep.

Will be thinking of you on Thursday Elkie.

Hope your day gets better SOL. I know what you mean about the school holidays. I've decided to keep J in Pre-school until the end of August for that reason. It's only 1 and a half days. Hopefully I'll be able to manage the rest

oooggs · 23/07/2008 09:10

thank you have bought some nurofen this morning - never used it before - only calpol (and medised )

mj I am really cross for you and now the text I sent you seems insensitive - very sorry

James is in nursery until 21 August, 2.5 days a week (the days I work) couldn't take him out as wouldn't have childcare we are then hoping to get away with the caravan for a week before he starts school

he went to nursery in school uniform (school polo shirt and normal shorts) today for a 'pretend school day' with packed lunch - wow so grown up

hope the sun is shining where you are

CaptainDippy · 23/07/2008 09:45

Glad I am not the only one dreading school hols! Sigh.

Feeling dog rough this am Started feeling really awful last night, nose streaming, cough dreadful etc Went to bed at 9pm. Yuk.

Deary me!

How are people this am!!?

CaptainDippy · 23/07/2008 09:57

...and for you as well MJ. xx

Eddas · 23/07/2008 13:04

I have had the worst day ever

DD wanted to go and buy ribbons, not a hard task So got in the car, started the engine, it sounded like a jet engine! So thinking it's odd i call dh to check all was well last night when he drove it. Yep twas fine last night. So we drive, very noisily, to the garage. Some git's gone under my car and nicked the catalytic converter so I then troop to the police station. Not that they'll do anything, it's the principle. Then I give the garage £170, the car needed 2 new tyres aswell The garage is dh's uncles so whist teh wheels are off he does a quick brake check, oh yip-a-dee they need replacing it's booked in with him for a service on tuesday, his words 'it's not gonna be a cheap week'

Add into all this that whilst on my unschedule trip to town i've lost my bl&^dy phone I am not impressed.

Oh and I think i may have tonsilitis. I have no tonsils but this is not an ordinary bad throat. FFS

My week has to go down as on of the worst so far, with all the above, plus my ebay hacking.

Anyway, I am remaining calm and positive about it so that's one good thing Shame I can't seek solace in the chocs dh gave me last night they feel like poisoned knives with my throat

elkiedee · 23/07/2008 13:17

Sorry Eddas, all sounds like a bit of a nightmare.

Bramshott · 23/07/2008 13:26

Aw Eddas, that does indeed sound like the day from hell!!

N breaks up in 5 minutes, so I am just waiting for her to arrive back for 6 long weeks of fun, fun, fun! Actually, I am sort of looking forward to it - it will be nice not to have to get up in the mornings .

Hopefully the weather will be lovely and we can just hang out in the garden. If anyone fancies a day in the garden, just pop over!!

Pinions · 23/07/2008 17:25
