Not sure; we have one of those electronic ones from Lloyd's chemist so I'll check it later. It's been suggested that it might be anaemia or thyroid problems. Most likely anaemia as I haven't been taking my iron tablets (for obvious reasons) and I keep forgetting to take the Spatone that I bought.

I had a right scare with it in the supermarket earlier, and the poor checkout lady looked very worried that I was going to keel over. I don't really need stroppy children to add to my day.

I think sitting on my bahookie all day MNetting counts as lots of rest

BP is 135/70 whixh is normal.

Probably a combination of tiredness and low iron levels. I'm booked into the GP on Thursday morning.

Am going to console myself buying me something nice.

lackaDAISYcal · 24/06/2008 17:42

Hi Daisy.

I would say hi to you too MHC, but I don't want to distract you

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 24/06/2008 20:02

Poor little girl, her throat sounds so sore, she's really hoarse. But she had a nice long feed at last and went to bed OK. Hope she's more settled this evening than last night.

lackaDAISYcal · 24/06/2008 20:12

have you given her anything Jammy? Would ibuprofen help take down some of the swelling?

DDs bum has broken out and is all sore again. We get it clear for two or three days and then it all flares up again; her tummy is bad too. We are still using the creams as well, but stopped the hydrocortisone and wham, it's back. I can't be permanently putting steroids on her poor bottom!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 24/06/2008 20:22

Poor DD Daisy.

We gave her some tixylix before she went to bed, and if she wakes will give her nurofen. She was fairly good natured though, despite the bad throat, bless her.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 24/06/2008 20:48

Quiet here tonight. But I am off to puzzle in bed, so you lot can all come out of the woodwork now and gossip without me

lackaDAISYcal · 24/06/2008 20:52

I'm around. Ds has been awake and then DD awake, and I've been looking for inspiration on boys names......tis very difficult. Don't think that DH and I will ever agree.

lackaDAISYcal · 24/06/2008 20:53

oops...G'night Jammy

foxythesnowfox · 24/06/2008 21:11

tired mcknackered from shagged out city here

have caught up, and promptly forgotten, so hello.

lackaDAISYcal · 24/06/2008 21:34

hi foxy

foxythesnowfox · 24/06/2008 21:44

congrats you on your debt free situation! Tis very liberating, isn't it? You start looking at things you can't afford but you could have because you have no debts!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 24/06/2008 21:46

Hi all!

Jammy, glad dd is feeding again and hope it continues!

Daisy, sorry dd's bum is sore again. My dd used to have constant nappy rash and she was mainly in disps, so it might not be the fluff causing it. Hope you can find a cause, I never did!

Hi Foxy McKnackered!

Hi MHC, if you are lurky lurking then STOP AND GET BACK TO WORK (or talk to me about slings, I want a Mei Tai!).

I have seriously fucked up my hands attacking my garden shrubbery! I have blisters on my fingers and spikey cuts from thorns. I neeeed some gloves, but I want some pretty ones and I have mahoooosive hands. I worry the ladies ones won't fit! Do they make men's gloves in pink ?!

lackaDAISYcal · 24/06/2008 21:52

hi holly.

I have some lovely gloves from homebase that came in small/medium/large, so they should fit. They also have nice mens leather ones too if you need a bigger size!

oooh that dessert on the F word looks yummy. i love lemon curd.

I have some money left over and want to buy something nice.....but I cannot, for the life of me, think of anything

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 24/06/2008 21:58

I do that daisy, I can think of a million things I could buy for the dcs or dp, but never for myself. I spent £25 on myself in New Look the other day and I felt really guilty even though that £25 bought me 2 skirts and 2 tops! I used to be great at buying myself stuff, now I'm just rubbish!

We are going to use the money I got from seling the pushchairs to buy a new fridge...oooo, how exciting!

Thanks for the gloves advice, I shall look on Homebase site now.

lackaDAISYcal · 24/06/2008 22:03

I've just put an ad for the maclaren on here Holly but will put it on ebay if it doesn't sell here....I'll be to see it go as we love it soooooo much.

Anyone want to buy a Maclaren Techno XLR in charcoal/burnt orange?

foxythesnowfox · 24/06/2008 22:03

Daisy - I reckon you need a lovely pair of shoes. Some nice wedges to make you feel grown-up and elegant.
