justRia · 23/06/2008 12:22

Morning all. sorry for DD norty, hope she's better soon.

Happy birthday little bot holly.have a good picnic.

Yippee for your scan daisy. When are you due [dim smiley]? I might have a few bits to send you, though the seasonality might be wrong. (I will have to get rid of the baby clothes eventually).

I have been to the GP this morning (sick of being fat and not having enough energy to sit up straight), she suggested blood test for thyroid, and I was actually able to see the nurse while I was there and nop go back in a week. Just have to wait now.

I have to take the boys to the dentist later. feck.

Happy Birthday Holly's DS

ooh, that's exciting Daisy - I have shed loads of blue winter stuff. Trouble is by the time I get round to sending it he'll be heading to secondary school!

Will DS1 be happy with a baby bro?

lackaDAISYcal · 23/06/2008 13:07

DS will be ecstatic foxy

You confused me there though; I thought why would your DS1 be happy about my baby boy.....that'll take a bit of getting used to, DS1 and DS2!

foxythesnowfox · 23/06/2008 13:19

LOL Daisy! How exciting!

Righto, am off again. Neighbour on her way round for cuppa.

lackaDAISYcal · 23/06/2008 14:24

DD is wiping her baby's face with a baby wipe......bless

I tried to put her in her highchair earlier for some lunch and she just screamed and screamed and then shouted for milk. I've given her some, but surely she needs solid food? She hasn't had anything since breakfast!

Happy Birthday Baby Holly

I think the thread title is quite inspired actually Ria

Congratulations on your good scan Daisy, I hope your DS is mollified now Wow, you are half way through.

Norty I am near Rome, and it has just got very hot here.

The Spunikids are playing happily together, wonders will never cease! They seem to communicate by high pitched squeaking, like dolphins.

Sputnik · 23/06/2008 14:34

Hmm, maybe something is brewing Daisy. Baby Sputnik went several days on milk only recently. He is on the mend now though, finally, and his appetite is coming back, although he firmly rejected my lovingly defrosted cous-cous and vegetables, in favour of cheese on toast today. I think I'm going to start taking a more BLW approach, provided he doesn't just chuck it all on the floor, which is what he initially did.

Sputnik · 23/06/2008 14:47

Oh, and did Italy lose at footie or something then? I am clueless and DH hates football and pretty much all sport, hooray! He is technically Italian btw, as born here, but not ethnically IYSWIM

lackaDAISYcal · 23/06/2008 14:48

She's got a bit of a cold at the minute so maybe she just doesn't want to eat. I know how she feels!

lackaDAISYcal · 23/06/2008 14:49

they did Sputnik...got beaten on penalties by Spain

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 23/06/2008 15:51

AIBU to want to smack dp round the face? He came home early from work....and went to play golf ! It's your son's first birthday you fucking knobhead! I've made a chicken for his dinner in the slowcooker, I really feel like chucking it tbh!

I'm on strike now and am sat on my arse watching tennis and playing with ds and his cars!

foxythesnowfox · 23/06/2008 16:03

Oh arse for you and DS Holly. What time will he be back?

Anyway, you'll be having a much nicer time doing what you are doing!

What tennis?

foxythesnowfox · 23/06/2008 16:05

Lovin' this thread title BTW

Sputnik · 23/06/2008 16:12

Holly YANBU

foxythesnowfox · 23/06/2008 16:25

AIBU to not want to talk to my neighbour ever again?

She is 30, an artist, travels with her 4 yo son, is an ex-model, (worked a bit, NY, Milan, Paris) is 5'10, slim, gorgous and really, really nice. She came round for a cuppa so our los could play and brought me a bottle of wine.

I feel decidedly middle-aged.
