T'belle - massive double congrats to you and your dh

All this talk of babies is making me concider having another one

Ria - we seem to be the night owls on here don't we?
I really should go to bed - I'm meeting my boss at 9.30 in Liverpool

Oddly I'm not feeling to shit on these antibiotics today - hope it stays that way.

Good morning!
Wow CONGRATULATIONS TALLULAH!!!! Twins, how exiting. So pleased that both babies are ok.
Daisy, CONGRATULATIONS on your baby boy! Glad your scan went well.
Wow, all you pregnant ladies, you're so mad brave lucky.
Norty, hope your DD gets better soon.
Jammy, sorry about your DD's feeding. DD is teething at the mo and it's a complete nightmare.
Hope everyone else is ok. Got loads of housework that I should be doing, the house looks like a bomb has hit it but I can't be bothered .

lackaDAISYcal · 24/06/2008 10:32

For the first time in a very long time.......I am debt free (well apart from our feck off mortgage ). It won't last I'm sure, but it's a nice feeling at the minute. I can go and kick the car, cos it's mine now

Hi Izzy

Jammy, I hope things were better last night and the Jamlet is feeling better today.

DD is being a right wee grump today!

I have just volunteered myself for the school's parent fund-raising committee...am I mad? It would appear so!

The debt free status won't last mhc, but we will appreciate it while it lasts!

I already know a couple of the mums from the fundraising committee, but it'll give me something else to think about than babies for a bit. I'm roped into manning a stall at the upcoming Party In The Playground too. Next thing you know I'll be baking cakes for the cake and candy stall

Does anyone know when the Next Sale starts? I want to get some baby boy stuff, but I'm not paying full whack wiht the sale just around the corner. I doubt I'll get a VIP invitation this year as my account was in the red until half an hour ago

Lucky you debt free (well done!!) am we have been trying to sort ourselves out too, but never seem to quite get there. So glad we didn't move in the end last year god knows how we would have kept up with a bigger mortgage!

Not sure when Next sale starts, will they tell you if you ring customer services? I am thinking the same about monsoon and mothercare too....

Ria & MHC was also thinking of the elderflower wine too - just haven't quite got round to it also planning to plant some spuds and courgettes in pots (my garden fairly small).

Today I have SPACE hurrah for tuesdays! (when DS goes to DMs) it is my only child free time!!! So must make most of it and list more stuff on ebay....

lackaDAISYcal · 24/06/2008 11:36

John Lewis are bloody fab. A frioend of mine bought a digital radio two years ago from them and it has recently gone tits up. She called them as it was still in the warranty period, and they arrnged to bring her another one and take the old one away. Added to that, the price had come down in the two years since buying it.....and they refunded her the difference! How fab is that?

enjoy your child free time SG

Seansgirlthesequel · 24/06/2008 12:34

Blimey Daisy thats bloody marvellous. Mine was from John Lewis too ....

Sputnik · 24/06/2008 13:15

Wow, just caught up with Tallulah's news, mega congratulations!
Sounds like you are still in shock!
I love hearing about everyone else getting pg again, as long as it's not me

Jammy I would get your DD looked at if I were you, it could be an ear infection as it puts them off sucking and hurts when they're lying down. Hope you have a better day.

Daisy, have you thought of selling nappies on here? The for sale boards seem a lot more civilised these days. That said, no one will be hurt if your DS2 is in pink nappies will they? Only joking, I know you just want an excuse to buy some new ones in blue

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 24/06/2008 13:52

Bloody hell and blimey tallulah! How wonderful! Double the trouble joy! I always wanted twins before dd...now not so much...hence the celebacy! Seriously though, hope it all goes well, congratulations to you all!

Daisy, the Next sale isn't for a couple of weeks, thank the lord! I have no money right now and would be gutted if I missed a Next sale. I need to buy all my brood's clothes for the next 6 months! Congrats on being debt free, I dream of that day! Long may it last for you!

Hello everyone else, hope you are all well.

Hi all. Lucky you on debt free daisy. You are insane joining the fundraising comittee though. Ours is run by mad cows who haven't a clue... (and, according to DH lifted the teachers beer money from the kitty on Saturday)

I am pissed off today. DH is owed 2 weeks pay from his temping job (it will be 3 weeks tomorrow), they are "having problems with the transfer". He also has 2 weeks to come from the job he tried (will be writing another letter tonight) AND a week and a half owing from a temping agency he worked for in January. And we could do with ALL of it. I have had to use the tiny bit I had put by for when my sis is here to keep us afloat and I'm bloody sick of it. Sorry for ranting, just needed to get it off my chest

He has been for another interview today... will hear on Friday.

I am feeling very sorry for myself today.

lackaDAISYcal · 24/06/2008 16:08

ria for your DH. It's awful when people won't pay up.

sputnik...am too scared of the for sale boards on here.....still too many pram huns around and whatever you want for your stuff they always want it for nothing much cheaper (as they are probably wanting it for selling on ebay )

DS is in good form this afternoon and got in trouble at school for not doing his work...he spent all of his breaks in class trying to catch up on work.

and DD has hurt herself (she was at the side of the sofa behind the door) and has spent the last ten minutes screaming, but I can't see what she has done. She has had a lick of my cleavage though and seems much clamer. I wonder of she remembers BFing and how it used to calm her down?

lackaDAISYcal · 24/06/2008 16:16

I bloody hate afternoons. The kids are getting an early tea and early bed tonight. It doesn't matter where I put the baby wipes she always manages to get hold of them.

Have been getting really bad palpitations today. They have been going on for a week or so, but I'd read they can be normal in pregnancy so wan't too worried. It's been a bit scary though this afternoon especially and they really take my breath away. Can't be bothered with squealy shouty children at all.
