Awww Bumper, how cute

Thanks for the offer Ria, I'm going to keep my eyes open for some more - otherwise I'll jus have to stick with buying the Bottlegreen cordial .

Bumperlicious · 03/07/2008 21:27

Right, off now. See you soon xxx

justRia · 03/07/2008 21:29

I always thought I preferred babies, but baggins is fab, and he's so good at meeting random new family members (except FIL tee hee)

Hello Ladies

Just popping on to say hello before I go to bed! I don't have a pic of DS with his hobby horse (damn work keeps getting in the way of my mummy time!) but I will get one at the weekend maybe - if I can, we are having a new carpet fitted (and about time, the current one is YEUCH).

It's crap that we are all going through it right now - I keep telling myself - "This too shall pass"

justRia · 03/07/2008 21:33

hi and bye fury

im so tired tonight..
i might have to get an early night...

FrazzledFairyFay · 03/07/2008 21:37

Goodnight Fury.

I have just checked our planning permission application and the neighbours on both sides have objected . Hey ho, nothing I can do but it is a bit upsetting. We went round and spoke to both before putting in the application, gave them a copy of plans, etc - and neither has had the courtesy to tell us that they were objecting.

Right, on that note I'm off too. Goodnight everyone

justRia · 03/07/2008 21:38

take care natty.

I'm watching the Abba thing. Tis the first time in years I've felt the need to go to the cinema (damn this 70s parallel universe I live in)

ah, I'm just dropping in to find you've all buggered off.

Not a bad thing as I will post and run!

Sorry to hear that things are turning shite for so many on here. But for going out there and getting help with it.

Bumper the issue is whether DP is here 'cos we won't have the space to jiggle. Originally I thought we were doing the beginning of the week, now its later I need to check his dates. He's coming back from 3 weeks away so I'm sure you understand. I'm hoping to actually get to see him and even speak to him sometime around Monday.

Roll on October!

NattyEcoWarriorPrincess · 03/07/2008 22:17

im here lol

lackaDAISYcal · 04/07/2008 09:25

morning

how are we all this fine morning? i hope everyone is feeling chirpier and well. Jammy, I hope you feel OK and it was just a passing bug. Norty, I hope you're taking it easy on yourself and not tryng to do too much.

I'm feeling a bit more positive about things today...oh the joys of chemicals

Sputnik · 04/07/2008 09:51

Natty, I have everything crossed for your DH today, hope everything goes ok.
I can really understand your mixed feelings about DS, but it's better if he has a diagnosis and you, hopefully, get some help.

Morning everyone else too

lackaDAISYcal · 04/07/2008 09:59

hi sputnik.

natty, hope things go well for you all today and remember we are all here for you, in spirit and words if not in actual body!

LittleMissNorty · 04/07/2008 10:12

thinking of you today Natty

Hi ladies at work today which is probably a good thing

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 04/07/2008 10:44

Hi all.

Natty, hope things go well today.
Norty & Daisy hope things pick up for you guys.

Well I've had a night of D&V, but my insides seem to be holding themselves (roughly) together now. But am worn out. DH working from home today so he can help a bit if necessary. It's his work outing thing this afternoon & evening though, so he might be out later. He's querying whether I should walk on Sunday and last night I kept saying, oh it's days away, I'll be fine. But honestly I am so washed out this morning I'm not convinced I'll be up to walking 13 miles in 48 hours time. But I don't want to let people down, especially those who have already paid sponsorship in advance . So I'll see how I go this afternoon and whether I manage to eat anything today. I might contact the organisers and see if I can swap from the half marathon down to one of the shorter length walks?

foxythesnowfox · 04/07/2008 11:22

Good luck Natty and MrNatty x

FrazzledFairyFay · 04/07/2008 11:48

I hope you feel better soon Jammy, you must be wiped out - I for one am more than happy for my sponsorship to stand even if you aren't up to the walk - your healthnis WAY more important

Natty - I have everything crossed for you for good news

andiem · 04/07/2008 12:17

morning all

jammy hope you are feeling better I agree with fairy and my sponsorship will stand whether you do it or not

natty hope all goes well for your dh today

Seansgirlthesequel · 04/07/2008 13:33

Afternoon All, sorry to hear you're not well Jammy, ditto what andi said about sponsorship mine still stands too.

Natty, all crossed here too for your DH.

Well if any wants to know its the boden sale - not that they have much left!

andiem · 04/07/2008 13:47

sg did my order at 8am

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 04/07/2008 14:29

I must be really tight. I just looked at the boden site and I wouldn't even pay the sale prices!

Have spoken to the walk organisers and I can srop down to one of the shorter walks on the day if I want. Or if I don't do it at all, people can get their sponsorship refunded if they wish (I know some of you have said it wouldn't amtter, but i worry about these things). So I feel less worried about it now, and can concentrate on getting better

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 04/07/2008 14:52

oops! srop = swap

Izzybel · 04/07/2008 15:05

Hey guys!
I haven't caught up yet.

Aaaarrgh! I've just had my Ofsted inspection. I've been running around like a loon trying to get everything right. Thank God the inspector has gone now

Right off to catch up!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 04/07/2008 15:14

Hi Izzy. Hope your inspection wasn't too bad.

Izzybel · 04/07/2008 15:30

It wasn't too bad. She just kept asking me questions that I didn't really know the answer to. She came after 11 and was here during DD's lunch, so of course I had to feed DD and couldn't show the inspector the upstairs while DD was eating as I couldn't leave her unsupervised, but while DD was eating she kept checking her watch and at one point she asked "is she going to be long?"
I was quite at that as I thought that they were supposed to observe how you are with your own children, and I thought that seeing how I was with DD at the table would have been a good way of her seeing how I act.
Anyway, it's all over now (thank goodness) and my CRB form has been sent. She said that the house was fine.

Rant over!

Sorry that some of you aren't feeling too good at the mo... #

Thoughts are with Natty and DH today. Hope everything is ok!
It's great that Tom's problems are getting sorted.
