understandable about the moments jbm...I still have them nearly three years on

natty is only trying at the minute...the exuberance of youth eh?

sounds like a nice evening Ria...I wanna live near the sea again

I've been signing up for anything and everything.....I can just imagine the spam headed my way shortly. I couldn't log into the Bzzz thing though, it wouldn't recognise the encrypted thingy; I just kept getting a windows error message.

hi to bumper...and sorry i ignored you earlier..although you are probably filling up on lemon syllabub or tart or meringue pie at the minute

Jammy are you wearing the bra on its own? I thought it would go over your t-shirt?

justRia · 01/07/2008 21:51

ah well, what would we dream about if we all had our dreams?

Good point Ria

lackaDAISYcal · 01/07/2008 21:54

Very philosophical Ria

justRia · 01/07/2008 21:56

Right, off to bed for me, to dream of crashing waves and sand-dunes. Night night everyone

lackaDAISYcal · 01/07/2008 22:00

me too, but add in a bit of gritty sand dune action with Cap'n Jack Sparrow

well maybe not Cap'n JAck exactly, but his RL alter ego!

justRia · 01/07/2008 22:03

but sand gets everywhere!

apparently, always been a haystack girl myself

OP posts:
lackaDAISYcal · 01/07/2008 22:09

oooh, I've seen what a bit of stray hay can do to a rabbit's paws.....never mind one's nether regions

right am gone....honestly this time

justRia · 01/07/2008 22:15

suppose I should head off too. night all.

Morning all. Fab night's sleep here! I feel great this morning

We used to live by the sea and I still miss that 6 years after we moved I loved seeing the sea every morning on the way to work and at night on the way home. Typically, I didn't go down to the beach enough, and now wish that I'd done that more.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 02/07/2008 08:28

Oh and i can just feel a tooth poking through the top gum in the Jamlet's mouth

lackaDAISYcal · 02/07/2008 09:22

morning

in spite of an earlyish night and all the children sleeping through till 7 this morning, I feel like I am wading through treacle this morning and could quite happily go back to bed and sleep for another few hours. The school run is killing me at the minute; lord knows what I'll be like at 35 weeks pregnant. I'm hoping that these bllod tests will shed some light on what's going on and that it's something that can be fixed; I can't imagine going on like this for another 18 weeks!

right whinge over for the day; got a bit of tidying to do and then we are off to meet a friend from work in the park for lunch....but no beer for me unfortunately

lackaDAISYcal · 02/07/2008 09:36

for tallulahbelle

was looking at double buggies and found this combo of the mountain buggy....and thought of you tallulah

justRia · 02/07/2008 10:30

I'm with you on that feeling this morning daisy. I am pinning a lot of hope on my blood tests too, when they come back clear and Dr says you're tired and fat because you're fat I think I may cry. I have a headache too. DH did let me lie in, but I feel awful for it and I woke up to baggins trying to pull my hsir out.

DH mentioned a day of housework and gardening today - I wonder who will get which share, and which is the biggest and least enjoyable

I have the next three three lunchtimes at school too. That was an error of judgement.

I was up a bit late making DS1 a chiton for his assembly on the greeks tomrrow. Poor boy will look ridiculous sewing is ot my strong point and I should maybe have not used a fitted sheet

Must go and do something.

I'm sure he'll Ria

Sputnik, or anyone who has ordered from Rainbow Babies, can someone recommned me so I can get the 10% discount....purlease

I want to get some cutesy stuff for Virgil and design some t-shirts for the DCs!

lackaDAISYcal · 02/07/2008 12:24

what nonsense was that? that was supposed to say "I'm sure he'll look just fine, Ria"

enjoy the housework then

FrazzledFairyFay · 02/07/2008 15:26

I can recommend you Daisy - don't think I have your email address though - can you send it to me on facebook?

The stuff I ordered for DD was very nice, and seemed good quality - but it was, unfortunately, all too big so she can't wear it at the moment - she is very skinny for her height though (unlike her mother!)

lackaDAISYcal · 02/07/2008 15:59

thanks fairy....I've sent you a message now

We've been to feed the ducks this afternoon. Unfortunately DD didn't quite get the idea of throwing the bread in the water and one of the ducks came and snatched some from her hands....she wasn't even phased!

Sputnik · 02/07/2008 16:20

Virgil, Daisy?
Reminds me of that film "In the Heat of the Night", fab film

lackaDAISYcal · 02/07/2008 16:44

unfortunalty not "in the heat of the night" (is that the one with Paul Newman, set in the deep south?) Sputnik...think Thunderbirds instead

DS thinks Virgil is a great name for the baby....so we have compromised and called the bump Virgil, on the understandung that he is given a normal name after he is born!

Talking to a friend of mine today...mutual friends had their baby three weeks ago and they still haven't given her a name

Sputnik · 02/07/2008 16:54

Sidney Poitier

Oh please please stick with Virgil, it's a fantastic name, and would go brilliantly with your surname

lackaDAISYcal · 02/07/2008 18:45

aha, but with Andrew as a middle name, would be called VAJ for the rest of his natural born life

We have a few sensible ideas up our sleeves, but are keeping them quiet. If anyone asks though, Virgil it is

Yay, DH is home; means I am free to MN while he sorts out the mess in the house

justRia · 02/07/2008 20:17

Lucky you daisy, DH has just gone out to another interview, so I've got to face the bedtime battle on my own and try to stay awake

OP posts:
justbeme · 02/07/2008 20:24

I thought the thread had run out - everyones very quiet today!

Had a busy baby group day. Got to sort out tax credit form (Yuk!) and Dp's accounts for the year - which has lain untouched for 12mths!! His year end is the end of May for some reason.
