farking hell....I've just googled the Nuna highchair....HOW MUCH??????? for a bit of plastic, they're having a bleeding larf aren't they?

and i must say, as a structural engineer, I think it'll be a bit bouncy and unstable on its highest setting

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 01/07/2008 20:23

Indeed they do daisy! It is like a racing highchair !

I'm sure they'll send you wraps, I don't see why they wouldn't. Even if one company don't then others will, so you will have some wraps at least. Did she say how many nappies she was sending? Don't go on the M&B forum, it's scary! Poor grammer and spelling errors are rife, it makes my eyes hurt! They call each other hun A LOT too!

Fairy, I'll give you a heads up when I see any more testing opportunities. I do loads. Atm I am doing stuff for Prima Baby and Babyworld and I think some more for Tips in a couple of weeks. Because I've been doing so much lately companies have been just sending me stuff without telling me! This week I have had some Comfort Pure, some Pampers wipes and some Bebevita food! I'll find some links for you, but first I have to make dp some supper, he is moaning!

FrazzledFairyFay · 01/07/2008 20:26

That would be great Holly, thanks. I have done a few minor ones in the past - baby wipes and fabric softener. I do loads of online surveys, etc but never seem to get the tests. Any insider info much appreciated

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 01/07/2008 20:26

This is the Recaro one daisy.

lackaDAISYcal · 01/07/2008 20:29

lol that looks like something for a 1960s futuristic film set ....Robbie Robot will swish past any minute if you have that in your kitchen

I want to get into this product testing thing as well.......looks like it can be quite lucrative

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 01/07/2008 20:33

Ooops, no not that one daisy. Scroll down to the Recaro Jetset and click on it. I love the insert, it looks like a bucket seat!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 01/07/2008 20:39

Right...for Babyworld join here then sign up to the parent panel here. I've had a few bits and bobs from them in the past. They don't contact you very often, but once every couple of months Lisa will probably email you to offer you a test. Atm I am testing this for them.

Off to hunt for more, be back in a sec....

lackaDAISYcal · 01/07/2008 20:40

aha.....looks like a Tripp Trapp a bit! Much nicer than the barstool cum highchair at the top!

DD pulled the tablecloth towards her to get to a bottle of mineral water tonight and managed to break three glasses

she has hardly eaten anything today. I think it might be the weather as I've been the same, but it is worrying nonetheless. Everytime I offered her food, she just shook her head emphatically and asked for more water. She seemed a bit dehydrated tonight though and then refused half of her nightime bottle.

FrazzledFairyFay · 01/07/2008 20:43

Cool, thanks holly - I was already registered and have signed up to join the panel. 'm not fussy what type of products I getk, I just LOVE freebies and critiquing things

FrazzledFairyFay · 01/07/2008 20:47

Register as a Tomy Tester

justbeme · 01/07/2008 20:48

Evening!

Thanks holly - I too was wondering how you guys are testing everything???!!
Where are you testing your nappies from Daisy?

Had a good time in Weymouth and Torquay - Ive put on half a stone!!!
Will add some pictures on FB.

FrazzledFairyFay · 01/07/2008 20:55

Raising Kids Panel

lackaDAISYcal · 01/07/2008 20:56

nappies are a variety jbm....bambinex teddy, lollipop micro and cotton, cottontails one size, and the new tots flexitot, which I'm most excited about. holly linked us all to the M&B testing thing back in February and a few of us registered.

Glad you had a good holiday and enjoyed all those cream teas . How are things?

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 01/07/2008 21:06

Dp is kicking me off, but I'll be back tomorrow with more sites!

Cheerio xx

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 01/07/2008 21:10

Right, I have made 8 "flowers" (each made of 2 bows, 1 pink/glittery & 1 purple, arranged in a cross) and have sewn 4 of them to my bra I'll sew the other 4 on another day as my eyes have had enough now, and then will add some pink material to make a "skirt" hanging from the bra to cover my tum.

Am also not to be doing any testing, but will try some of Holly's links tomorrow. Off to bed now though.

FrazzledFairyFay · 01/07/2008 21:18

I joined BzzAgent the other day - just checked and I am going to be testing Activia yoghurts

FrazzledFairyFay · 01/07/2008 21:19

Jammy, I'm sure it'll be fine - it sounds like you've done plenty of training - probably far more than some of the other participants

FrazzledFairyFay · 01/07/2008 21:19

Daisy - DS didn't eat much today either. I think it's just too hot for them. His room thermometer is registering at 31C. It's notoriously inaccurate but that is ridiculous!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 01/07/2008 21:25

I'm back, dp says I can stay on for a few more mins!!

Check here every day for updates! I got my last lot of travel systems from M&B mag on here. Sold them for over £1000!!! Prima Baby have a similar board here.

I know most of you have joined Tips already, but for those that haven't join here.

justRia · 01/07/2008 21:33

boring explanation - DH is having an examination under anaesthetic. If his consultant can find out what's wrong and give a good reason for DH being "incapacitated" it will be good evidence. His appeal against the DWP decision that he is fit enough to work has gone to tribunal, to be heard at the end of the month. If the consultant can pick holes in what the DWP assessment GP said it would be excellent.

Not even considering that they might be able to fix him and he can go back to work properly.

Thanks for your kind offer daisy. My dad is on taxi duty this weekend if all goes to plan (he might well take DM to the white rose centre)

Im ok Daisy - have my moments tho.
The NHS are looking into my complaint from last July now though - I finally got my act together to chase them up (re birth).
Im off for a hair wash - may be back later.

ps Have I missed Natty announcing? and how is her Hubby - did he get his tests back?

justRia · 01/07/2008 21:39

we went for a walk on the beach after school, and had fish and chips on the cliff top, and even better the tide was nearly in so there was hardly any people

OP posts:
FrazzledFairyFay · 01/07/2008 21:40

That sounds lovely Ria - I dream of living somewhere that i could do that

justRia · 01/07/2008 21:42

I am very lucky, but I am ungrateful and would prefer rolimg hills I love a good rough sea though.

OP posts:
FrazzledFairyFay · 01/07/2008 21:49

Give me the sea over hills any day - I dream of spenign my evenings sat in sand dunes with an open fire, marshmallows and a glass of wine. unfortunately, Dh dreams of living in a swanky apartment in central London - so we live here instead, which is blatantly nothing like either dream
