OMG Daisy - non smelling pooh! non smelling farts! I dream of the day I can wake up in the morning next to my dh, lift up the covers and not want to gag!!!!

Holly - He puts bleach down the bog! Bloody hell! Sometimes when my dh leave skids that are just so bad I can't let him get away with it so I drag him into the loo and demand he does something with it! He'll reach for the bath cleaner when I'm telling him to bleach it! and even then he'll not wipe up all the piss splashes?!??!!!
He was going mad this weekend because lo was crawling about on the loo floor and dh was saying 'eeer it's dirty on there' - bloody wouln't be if he'd stop pissin everywhere!

PMSL guys at the Dh/Dps lists, DKMA yes on the checking for skids before visitors! and the toast. He never cleans the hob,oven or grill.bbq either! sorry about your DH......I must admit I tend to do that as well, but only ever take it out on DH

awwwwww on the fluffy ducks . we have had our first harvest here....loads of radishes seem to have grown huge over the weekend and we got a few pea pods off our one surviving pea plant. Loads of cut and come again spincah to harvest as well. the DCs and I were grazing in the garden earlier...especially the alpine strawberries...yummmmmm

I'm off to bed....I was in bed before 10 all weekend and am knackered now!

First day f DD's school holidays so I am MNig instead of the school run, luxury! DD is still asleep so breakfat is on hold.

Re DHs/DPs, mine has never been known to wipe a surface but he's not too bad considering he's hardly ever here really. He does cook sometimes too. I always swore though if I had a son I would teach him to piss straight

Congratulations on your veggies Daisy and MHC, I used to grow loads pre-DCs as our old house had a huge vegetable plot. Not so much room here (all rocks) but I am going to plant a few things next year, DD is really keen too. I was discouraged before as the dog would dig up/sit on anything I planted but now he is no more so that problem is sorted. Maybe we can grow a container of salad or something meanwhile.

Summer hols already? Wow! Do you get longer in Italy or go back sooner?

My sister's lot will be off this week as well. summer hols are always a few weeks earlier in Scotland Holly......they need to get them in while the weather is reasonable . It's a bugger for me though, trying to organise things with my family when they are off and we aren't and then they go back a couple of weeks after we come off. I always remember the first week of the hols being a tennis frenzy and you couldn't get near the tennis courts as everyone pretended they were Bjorn Borg

Is DH having a hard time at work mhc....i remember what i was like of things were stressful, and DH is the same sometimes.

I need to do a whole shed load of Ebay listing and get my nappies on usednappies. When is the best time for an auction to end, oh ebay masters?

thanks Norty. Can you choose the number of days you can have the listing on for? so do i wait until next sunday and do a week long listing, or can I set them up now and list them for either five days or 12 days?

The actual schools have already been off for 2 weeks here, just the nursery was open, then they go back in september so summer holidays are looong here. It makes sense though as it really is too hot. Easter and xmas holidays are short, and I don't think they have half-terms here either.

Proper Italians rent a place by the sea somewhere for a couple of months and everyone not working moves there . They always go to the same place and anything more strenuous than lying on the beach is out.
