The kids around here LOVE it!
Dh's golf course is just accrose the road from it and during school holidays the noises of excited children are mega!!

The fella that owns it is not into health and safety AT ALL and has been in many kerfuffels with the health and safety peeps as he feels strongly that children shouln't always have to play in a sterile and overly safe way - but to learn about natural dangers and hazards (I kind of agree with him). He's a real country character

Only sat down half hour ago. Been at work all week unusually, like Jammy, and tonight came in after an 8 hour day (and 1 hour round trip commute across bloody town), went to sainsbo's shopping, came in unpacked shopping, fridge absolutely minging so cleaned it before putting food away, washed up all the stuff DH used today and cleaned kitchen then finally made myself some tea. It's been a long week, and I have to go in again on Sunday (well, I don't have to but there is the chance of some overtime at £25 an hour which can't be sniffed at).

How are you all?

DKMA - that's shit about your car, how embarrassing, but easily done. What did DH say?

Daisy and norty, hope you are looking after yourselves. And JBM if you are lurking.

Fury glad you are back, and glad you are taking things a bit easier. Can you afford a cleaner?

Actually this is just a flying visit, DH and I are going to watch West Wing on the 'puter. Catch up with all tomorrow. Seems like you have all buggered off anyway

My virgin voucher was cancelled too, but I also got a £10 voucher (probably if you spend 50 quid!) and will probably get lots of spam. Still no M&B email. Guess I wasn't lucky this time. My friend who I sent the link to got nappies

Btw Holly DH and I loved that high chair!

well have managed to package sweeties and fold 1000 raffle tickets so am now ready to run sweetie tombola tomorrow dh has been fab at helping

have ds1 bday this weekend so will catch up with everyone after that

It was the English National Ballet is that the same as you have booked?

Am doing stuff for hols too, have missed dd being around this year since she has started school, so want to do lots of fun stuff with her & DS. So far I've only managed to book 1 play date with friends she hardly sees and 4 1to1 refresher swimming lessons
