aw Jammy! I guess the past couple of days has been hard-going, huh? Are you OK?

DKMA · 27/06/2008 19:52

I got the cancellation email too

AA had to come out to my car again! Bloody fella who drained the tank had left a wire in the wrong place and it kept tripping out the fuel pump fuse (tit)

ooh get me the lady mechanic

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 27/06/2008 20:00

Sorry to hear about your car DKMA. i imagine you did feel foolish, but am sure it's a relatively common mistake. You are the 3rd person I know who's done it.

I'm OK, just massively tired. Not used to doing a full week at work, plus as Foxy noted, the past couple of days have been especially hard, and last weekend/beginning of week Jamlet wasn't well, didn't sleep properly and I haven't had a chance to catch up from those broken nights. Was though when DH had to ask why I was tired.

Seansgirlthesequel · 27/06/2008 20:04

Jammy, you forget that you have to be super sonic and never run out of energy.... men on the otherhand fall at the first hurdle, they are the first to moan 'i'm tired, stressed..etc'

HellHathNoFury · 27/06/2008 20:05

Greetings all

Yes Jammy... a full week at work is bloody exhausting for sure. Are you working full time now?
Do you have a big commute as well?
I do get tired of a 3 hour train journey every day, but I guess needs must hey.

Seansgirlthesequel · 27/06/2008 20:10

3 hours Fury fecking hell! You must be tired and bored! I don't know how you do it!

Seansgirlthesequel · 27/06/2008 20:12

Hows it going anyway Fury?

I can't get on to my email so don't know if I've had that email.

DKMA · 27/06/2008 20:12

When I tell dh that I am tired he always says oh yeh I'm tired to - blah blah blah, to which I nearly always reply 'you don't know the fricken meaning of the word mate'

Jammy - hope you're feeling perkier soon - we know what you mean and don't ask stooopid questions like 'why are you tired then?' Duuuuuurrrrrr!!!

Fury - well done on the job - good news eh?

Seansgirlthesequel · 27/06/2008 20:12

Hi Fury. No not prem full time, but they had me on a training course this week. And that's a full week of concentration! And the past couple of days DH was working late, so I had to pick DD up from nursery. To get there in time I needed to have the car with me, which meant taking DH and DD to work/nursery in the morning early enough for me to get back to work. And then once I'd picked DD up from nursery, we got the bus home so that DH had the car with hime to come home when he was finished. So all in all it was long days and pretty exhausting. Of course, DH had 2 very late nights, but he got to stay off work today to make up for it.

Seansgirlthesequel · 27/06/2008 20:19

sorry for double post. so has the aa lady fixed it now DKMA?

Dh moaning he is tired but can't complain he got called out last night to fix air con at 3am this morning at Canary Wharf, so travelled all the way there and then by 6 was back on way to office in bham this morning.

But he is being a bit twunty as he complained when i said I wasn't going to watch Topgear on Dave - so hes now moaning about the Feeling at Glastonbury

Seansgirlthesequel · 27/06/2008 20:22

Put your feet up and have a G&T Jammy, sounds like you deserve it, are you getting a take out too?

foxythesnowfox · 27/06/2008 20:24

Wise words from SG. They only get to the first hurdle because we give them directions, pack them lunch and make sure they have clean smalls on

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 27/06/2008 20:26

Am having a beer and we just had pizza Thanks guys

Seansgirlthesequel · 27/06/2008 20:31

PMSL Foxy, you're not wrong there.

Anytime Jammy

Seansgirlthesequel · 27/06/2008 20:34

Anyone live over on the east side just looking at this school holiday idea , it was in a mini boden catalogue but didn't notice it was so far over DH said it would be 3-4hours for us!

Seansgirlthesequel · 27/06/2008 20:36

Bumper are you around tonight?

HellHathNoFury · 27/06/2008 20:38

Jammy that does sound a bit nightmare-ish.
I only do the nursery pickup which helps.

SG - I have a mini tv thing, I watch tv and movies on it, sure helps speed that journey along!! it's an archos 605...purrrrr

foxythesnowfox · 27/06/2008 20:43

ARSE that looks great SG, and we were in that neck of the woods last week.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 27/06/2008 20:45

My parents live in Norwich, so I'm sure we'll take DD there sometime

DKMA · 27/06/2008 20:49

We've got this near us which kids around here rave on about! Can't wait to take lo!!

Seansgirlthesequel · 27/06/2008 20:50
