annobal · 20/06/2008 12:47

Nice! Personally, I usually go for the choc cake with smarties. What's a mini-iq party?

andiem · 20/06/2008 12:51

Good to hear from Annobal. Glad things are OK and hoorah for getting your own space again soon.

Sputnik · 20/06/2008 13:02

We had a very quiet party Annobal, 7 people and 3 cakes. Very quiet, apart from the sound of munching.....

DS has been ill on and off for a month now, but he's on abs now for his ears so hopefully will be better soon.

Sputnik · 20/06/2008 13:05

I am shopping on the figleaves clearance site atm. Some real bargains. They even have some mat stuff, for those of you in that market

andiem · 20/06/2008 13:08

annobal · 20/06/2008 13:09

Afternoon everyone

At home doing (ahem) admin (honest)!
Happy Birthday baby Bumper - hope you are enjoying your cake!

Does anyone remember this time last year when I had to fork out stupid amount of money to get my horsebox through it's MOT? I seem to remember it costing the same amount as Daisy's new roof!!!!

Well it's that time of year again and I've just had to book it in for it's service and MOT - and I'm praying to the horsebox gods that it needs nothing more than new wiper blades or something

lackaDAISYcal · 20/06/2008 14:35

afternoon.

Hi annobal but sorry I've missed you!

LOL DKMA....I remember your horsebox....I bet it didn't leak afterwards like my new effing roof did

Thanks for the figleaves link Sputnik...have bought a new underwire bra and a nursing bra. I've just gone with the size I was with DD....I hope it'll fit as it says it's non-returnable!

Been to a baby first aid course this morning....I now know how to do CPR on a wee one and to clear a choking blockage.

hey guys

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 20/06/2008 15:32

Hi all. We've been to the teddy bears' picnic at the library. There were bears (of course) anda story, and rhymes with the bookstart bear, and stickers, and a picnin (ginergread men, flapjacks and raisins) and balloons and party bags! All good fun

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 20/06/2008 15:39

good luck with the horsebox DKMA

lackaDAISYcal · 20/06/2008 15:48

afternoon natty and jammy

the picnic sounds good Jammy. We should use our local library more; it's only a 20 minute walk from here!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 20/06/2008 16:33

Hi Daisy. Jamlet is really tired though after all the excitement of swimming AND a picnic. I'm now trying to get her to have a nap on me. It is her teatime, but I think she's too tired to eat properly.

lackaDAISYcal · 20/06/2008 16:44

DD is busy being occupied picking the bobbles off my hiking socks and emptying all the socks from my "odd sock box" onto the floor. she is sitting backwards on the potty whilst she does this.

She has been taking a few more steps today ...just one or two and then she falls over, but she is standing for a lot longer and looks much steadier on her feet.

right off out for tea with the money from DHs house before it is all gone from paying off debts and sorting out this place.
