poor thing Jammy ....is it teeth?

It is finally quiet upstairs here but I dare not go and check on her....if she's awake she'll jump up and scream!

Bumperlicious · 22/06/2008 21:25

I'm off to read in bed. Sputnik, we went to my aunt's in the end, it was actually a really nice day, don't know what I was worried about. I made a cake on Friday. My aunty made one today that was far yummier than mine!

Night everyone x

P.S. Daisy, sorry for your seeds

P.P.S. Not heard from tester lady yet, what does this mean?

P.P.P.S. DKMA, hope you feel better soon. Can you take anti sickness tablets?

lackaDAISYcal · 22/06/2008 22:06

i think i might join you bumper...not literally of course

Have given up on usednappies for one evening.

Norty, I spent the whole of my pregnancy with DD in a complete and utter rage.....was not nice at all. hopefully this is just a wee hormonal blip for you and things settle down quickly. Just take it easy, and if you think the anxiety is causing it/not helping, talk to your doc. I started on Prozac six weeks ago and feel fab now.

Norty, I was really irritable (as well as tired), I think it's normal and it doesn't help having a baby to look after too. Come on here and shout AAAAARRRRSSSSEEEEE if it helps.

Jammy hope the Jamlet settles, sounds like teething to me.

DKMA, I posted on your thread, I'd send you some of the stuff I'm on about but it'd probably take a week to arrive.

DKMA · 22/06/2008 22:18

Thanks for your help ladies
Sputnik - I'll go to a health food shop tomorrow and see if I can find similar stuff - I'll let you know how I get on.
Hey - Bumper - glad lo had a good birthday and nice cakes

lackaDAISYcal · 22/06/2008 22:19

sputnik...someone is asking about attitudes to BFing in public in Italy in the feeding topic. Can you help?

and hello by the way

DKMA is that what was causing your abdominal pains? you thought it was your gall bladder at one point didn't you? or is that still going on?

your photos of DS are lovely; he is so gorgeous. haven't looked at your video though!

DKMA · 22/06/2008 22:28

Hi Daisy

My gp doesn't think that this is related to my stomach pains but has been picked up on with all the tests I've had. She wants me to have an endoscope at some point but wants to get rid of this bug first.
She's also given me an anti sickness medication that helps the stomach empty properly as my food seems to get 'stuck' so she is thinking I might have some blockage or mobility issue going on. She doesn't want me to take the anti sickness stuff with this 'triple therapy' antibiotic stuff though, but to start taking it once I ve finished all that

My smear test was clear though

Glad to see that you saved some plants earlier

Sputnik · 22/06/2008 22:34

Have posted there, and alerted my mates in MN little Italy. She is going to Ischia, my favourite!

lackaDAISYcal · 22/06/2008 22:38

Yay for your smear result then

Hope you get things sorted soon; sounds like you're being put through the mill.

Never been to Italy, but DH used to go a lot on business. I miss the mozarella he used to bring back and lemons.....

Ahh reminds me of our wedding in Sorrento

Sputnik · 22/06/2008 22:45

Oh yes, food actually tastes of something here

That said, we went to Pizza Express when I was last in UK and I was quite impressed. Didn't actually have pizza, mind. That would've been silly.

Sputnik · 22/06/2008 22:49

Ooh Sorrento is gorgeous! And the world capital of lemons. Did you go to Positano?

justRia · 22/06/2008 22:50

James May nicked my hairstyle.

off to catch up...

DKMA · 22/06/2008 22:51

Oh yes we went to Positano - Loved it there.
We went to a fab hotel called La Sernuese (prob spelt wrong - I'm going to look it up and link it - it was my fav place ever)

DKMA · 22/06/2008 22:54

here it is

God it is lovely - I'm just going to stare dreamily at the website for a bit and visualise being back there!!

PMSL Ria at hair btw!

Sputnik · 22/06/2008 22:54

We have some rich friends with a fantastic old villa in Positano. They have invited us a couple of times, and got married there.

lackaDAISYcal · 22/06/2008 22:57

PMSL Ria

I was just thinking DDs hair was a bit like his when Topgear was on earlier!

I should go to bed. I promised DH some action earlier as I was having a hormone surge and had some very rude dreams last night ......so I need to be asleep before he gets to bed

OP posts:
DKMA · 22/06/2008 22:58

WOW sputnik
One day we WILL go back!

lackaDAISYcal · 22/06/2008 22:59

DH used to go to the Amalfi Coast, near Sorrento and also Sicily and somewhere nr Milan. He keeps saying he'll take me there someday. Maybe for my postponed 40th birthday in 2010!

OP posts:
justRia · 22/06/2008 23:02

that looks lovely DKMA. sorry you are feeling rough.

Hi sputnik. All this talk of pizza express is making me as I've never been.

Hi norty. I think irritable is normal - generally! It is hugely possibly to have pre-natal depresion though (I have had it all three times). Stick with us, we like Arse-shouting (BTW I am constantly irritable and not PG[blush})

Poor jamlet.
I have wind-burn. We went to a Roman re-enactment. Comitatus. If they are near you it's worth it when you have small boys between 6-12. DS1 wants to join a group

DKMA · 22/06/2008 23:04

Sounds like a fab day out Ria - bless DS1
Better slap some cream on yer face to reduce the chaffeage

lackaDAISYcal · 22/06/2008 23:07

ouch at the windburn...the great British Summertime, dontcha just love it!

roman stuff looks good Ria. Might give it a go sometime.

I'm off to bed.
night all

and don't forget the thread is nearly out of space again

I was wondering about that earlier... (not you and your DH obviously daisy). On the days when I get up with the kids (we are slobby unemployed, everyday is a lie-in day) I feed the kids at least once, wash & dress them, wash up, hang out laundry, maybe wash some more, possibly cook a "2nd breakfast" (we are slobby unemployed oversized hobbits who eat too much) and take some up to DH in bed... I DO NOT upset the boys so they fight/go upstairs to tell tales to daddy, I do not go upstairs and sexually hassle DH whole he is trying to sleep. When I have a lie in DH might feed the kids and give them drinks, then he watches TV with them. And he expects "payment in kind". FFS.

I have realised that since I stopped BF baggins I have spent massively reduced time with him because if DH has him I am busy "doing". DH doesn't...

justRia · 22/06/2008 23:11

Did we say song titles?
