natty was she ever checked for tongue tie? this can cause fussy frequent feeds. Poor latch is always the first thing to be checked though.

natty, you did what you had to do in diffcult circumstances. I remember how hard it was for you back then, and you did give her those first precious weeks which is good . I was lucky in that DS was at school all day, so I could feed endlessly. I'm sure I won't find it quite so convenient this time with a 17 mo old DD to deal with as well.

she seemed to be latched ok, i mean first two weeks i got cracked and bleeding nipples but that went off, but she just seemed to be starving still after each feed, would feed from both breasts, and get to the point where she would suck 3-4 times and then scream with annoyance, so i think it may have been a supply problem as i couldnt express anymore than 3 ounces at a time and that would take about an hour to do

NattyEcoWarriorPrincess · 19/06/2008 21:19

everyone gone and left me eh?

lackaDAISYcal · 19/06/2008 21:21

DD inhales strawberries as well. I have to cut them up or they go in whole and juice goes everywhere and she nearly chokes.

When I was watering the crops earlier she and DS were grazing on the tiny alpine strawberries that we have in the garden. she didn't seem too bothered by the unripe ones though

something else for holly

difficult to say what the problem was natty. I know things were pretty stressful for you with moving house and not being happy in the new one, and stress can have an effect on your supply as far as I know. Was she feeding that frequently at night as well? night feeds are crucial for getting your supply up and running in the early days.

Soz, went to sort out dp's dinner there.

Love those 2 Per Una dresses daisy, really lovely. I like a floral number, not too old at all! I think the M&S sale should be coming up next week, so I think I might wait til then. I think I like the second, strapless one best, it's really funky! I like M&S becasue I know what size I am in there and they are cut a bit more generously for the big of boob and bum!

Thanks for your dress help everyone, it's given me a lot to think about!!

My ds is a strawberry fiend too! We went to PYO on Saturday and ds just sat in the middle of the field between two rows of plants and gorged himself! He was scrabbling around in the bushes finding himself nice juicy ones! He was covered when we'd finished!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 19/06/2008 21:38

Wow MHC, that is some dress! I don't think I'd have the balls to wear that!! Lovely though!
