That sounds interesting Norty, or is it boring stuff and not exciting chic lit novels?

Happy Birthday Baggins!

Sorry youre feeling yak Norty, hope it soon passes, though it is a good sign though.

Yay! for Daisys DS!! makes me think I should stop 'lifting' DD at night she is 5 FGS!! But we do it as she is in a mid sleeper (my idea of getting more floor space for her in her room ) and I am worried that she'll fall off the bed or ladder in the middle of the night..

Seansgirlthesequel · 19/06/2008 11:24

Sorry Norty, I meant Andiem ... what I div I am.

ooohoo think DS is awake, can hear him thumping all round his cot... has everyone elses los got bruises from crashing into stuff, DS has 4 bruises on his head I'll have the social down here if not careful

Seansgirlthesequel · 19/06/2008 11:28

Woohooo Think he has gone back to sleep. yippeee! More freedom!!! [wicked mother]

andiem · 19/06/2008 11:30

sg it is a boring text book

ds2 has loads of bruises and scratches too

Seansgirlthesequel · 19/06/2008 11:33

Oh Andi poor you [yawn]!

My freedom was short lived .... he is now being vocal and making sounds that sort sound like "oi" perhaps it is and it means "oi Mother come and get out of this sleeping bag"

LittleMissNorty · 19/06/2008 11:35

2 down....how many to go?

I've discovered that I really lack motivation sometimes, but put me in an office away from the home environment, am I fine

Oh dear....typing that post was interrupted with bring breakfast back up

LittleMissNorty · 19/06/2008 11:38

funny you should say that Daisy.....scan has just come through the door for 7th July

Cooking pasta for spag bol for DD's lunch and I'm heaving again

lackaDAISYcal · 19/06/2008 11:48

DD has got another new word.......she pointed at my can of pop and and said "coke"

Can't wait till we're going round Sainsbos and she starts shouting for Coke in the soft drinks aisle

lackaDAISYcal · 19/06/2008 11:49

good news on the scan norty.....is this where you find out you're nearly five months gone?!!!!

OP posts:
LittleMissNorty · 19/06/2008 11:50

no, hopefully 11 weeks and I'll only have another week of sickness to contend with

andiem · 19/06/2008 11:51

ooh norty I have 2 to write and 3 more to look at so now I must go and get on with it poor you hope the sickness wears off soon it is grim

daisy now she only needs to learn sausage roll and you will be infamous

Seansgirlthesequel · 19/06/2008 11:59

Daisy - or turkey twizzlers.... [barf!]

DS is well and truly awake and now in destruct mode, could be a grilfriend for DD Daisy, he is currently trashing his room, I know my time is limited here in the spare room, and that he'll be in here any moment, hopefully will just have time to up load the pic I have just taken of him after he had just tried to climb out of his cot and also of the bruises on his head!!

foxythesnowfox · 19/06/2008 12:05

Ladies Day my arse.

I have been in a personal Hell.

My own Room 101.

Otherwise known as 6 days away with the out-laws.

Hello everyone!

Happy Birthday Baggins

Hope you are all OK!

Have attempted to catch up, but failed. Can you give me the highlights please?

Oh I think LO is awake... no rest for the consciencious mother who doesn't let her children live on crisps, cookies and calpol.

You can tell I've had a ball, huh?

lackaDAISYcal · 19/06/2008 12:07

lol at turkey twizzlers! I can honestly say that I've never eaten them so it's unlikely my DSs will!

She loves sausage rolls actually, and scotch eggs

hope the MS gets better soon Norty; I'm still getting periods of nausea, but I was like this with DD. I can't face food in the evenings and it makes getting tea ready for the kids a bit of a challenge....and in the early weeks DD's nappies were horrendous to deal with!

lackaDAISYcal · 19/06/2008 12:08

foxythesnowfox · 19/06/2008 12:13

no, didn't get invited Couldn't have disgraced myself last year as was heavily PG. No great shame. Ladies Day is shite anyway. Full of pissed yobs.

The kids had a great time. I am fucking knackered and have 6 loads of washing to do.

Crikey I'm grumpy

Oops forgot, baby awake ...

later ladies mwah

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 19/06/2008 12:15

Hi foxy, was wondering where you'd got to! Sounds like a week from hell, hope you recover soon.

Don't worry about the sausage rolls daisy...my dcs are eating fresh home baked croissants (alpha mummy point)...covered in Nutella (minus a zillion alpha mummy points!).

andiem · 19/06/2008 12:30

ooh the croissants sound fab holly mmm

omg mhc, I think I would have a nervous breakdown if I couldn't use the pooter.

I only booted up to see if there were any more testing e-mails...and am still pootering

Am enjoying the chance of some P&Q while DD still sleeps.

ooooh wimbledon starts on Monday. The joys of not being at work in the day.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. Going well so far, scrambled egg for firt breakfast, Whitby oaksmoked kipper for 2nd breakfast with daddy (who has now pissed off to his adult literacy class after promising and failing to clean the kitchen) Will be making lunch shortly to keep us going til the sausage rolls at teatime! (Didn't read the thread daisy but have got a rough idea)

Hi foxy.

Shouldn't laugh because at least she tried, but baggins got a card from MIL to a super godson.

Does anyone remember the Terrorvision single Pretend Best Friend? It is whizzing round in my mind and sending me quietly mad. (There is a reason for this but now is probably neither the time or place)

Must go and get on. Hope you all have a great day. I'll be back tonight with a big glass of wine I hope!

justRia · 19/06/2008 13:19

I'll update you on DH later too, thanks for asking after him - he loves being so popular. The big boys are enjoying the birthday as much as the birthday boy.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 19/06/2008 13:45

..."Best friend you've all that I've got.." I used to heart Terrorvision! One of my reason for calling dd Alice was so I could sing "Alice, what's the matter" to her!!

Happy birthday to ds, hope you have a great day!

Daisy, I'm reeeeaaalllly looking forward to Wimbledon and then there's the Olympics! Hurrah! I love being a SAHM (sometimes)!

andiem · 19/06/2008 14:05

I am really looking forward to wimbledon too mind you I won't be bale to sit on the sofa for hours watching it this year both of mine are wimbledon babies

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 19/06/2008 14:27

Does anyone know when the Monsoon sale starts? I am getting constant emails about sale starting in various shops, but not Monsoon yet. I neeeeeed a dress !
