OK, I'm tired and another busy day tomorrow, so good night all.

justRia · 18/06/2008 21:43

I think I'll sign off for the night. I have prezzies to wrap.

I'll finish with an apology and a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all the LOs I missed when offline.

we used to go to tentsmuir when I was a wee kid...or shell bay (before there was a caravan site there and you were charged for parking )

lol jammy, the mind boggles at the content of your dream

Ria, what's Kingdom?

OP posts:
justRia · 18/06/2008 22:20

bet ya jammy's dream wasn't as as mine are!
Don't know why you have to be part of a couple TBH, DSD said it said so on the tickets.

Kingdom is where Stephen Fry is a solicitor and Hermione Norris is his mad sister. Nice undemanding Sunday night TV. It's the repeats of the first series.

justRia · 18/06/2008 22:23

Have wrapped our poor show of prezzies, but in a couple of days I can have a hunt out of stored away stuff and make it a week-long birthday! (we have a really annoying musical caterpillar somewhere that my M&D gave DS2 for his 1st birthday when they were safely on the plane to NZ). I have wrapped the pass the parcel gifts too, just need some stickers for the big boys and wrap the big parcel and we're all set. Just don't know what time the GPs are arriving as they don't get back from hols til tomorrow. We are having party food, blancmange and cake.

justRia · 18/06/2008 22:24

...unless it's wildly sunny then DH wants to BBQ (he had a bit of a splurge at a farmers market last week as he was working nearby and got discount/packing up deals because he had been supplying the stallholders with bacon butties)

lackaDAISYcal · 18/06/2008 22:29

farmers market sounds good Ria . I'm sure DS will be more than happy with the wrapping paper and the boxes. Once DD had opened her pressies she lost intereset!

what is DH doing workwise?

I am totally . Someone started a whole new thread on the back of a comment I made to them on another thread (that was about five posts long) this morning. I feel realllllly bad now as I've obviously upset this poor woman. I didn't mean to, honest

still, it's not really in the spirit of being a peer supporter to be judgemental, so for that I do hold my hand up

i could've worded it a bit better.

DD has been up twice in the last 20 mins. Looks like we're in for a night of it. she is still whinging. think I may gave calpol...or maybe try medised

But, when I went to check on DS he was dry again...so fingers crossed for him being dry in the morning....he will be gutted if he isn't.

am off to try and get DD settled.

g'night

I spent three hours with my grizzly baby in the night mhc, so I feel your pain. I didn't want to bring her downstairs though incase she thought that was a fun thing to do every night.

I think she has a sore throat as she kept putting her hand up to her mouth and didn't even want to take calpol. she seems brighter this morning but has a streaming nose now. We're all a bit stuffed with the cold so felling bleary eyed this morning.

the sandals I bought yesterday have a crepe type sole on them. DD is now licking the bottom of them ....eeeeeeew.

Oh and another dry night in the Boo houselhold . DS is really pleased (as am I at three dry nights out of five) and feeling much more confident. I just bought a new pack of PJ pants at £11 but if he needs them in the house as a back up security measure, then so be it

Morning

Happy birthday to Ria's DS

haven't been on much....feel like bleurgh! What made me want to do this again?

lackaDAISYcal · 19/06/2008 10:45

Oh, norty...poor you.....just think, this too shall pass

And.....Happy Birthday Baggins

OP posts:
andiem · 19/06/2008 10:47

morning norty sorry you are feeling bleargh but it is for a good reason

Happy Birthday Baggins

daisy I wouldn't give that to my baby either but if I am completely honest I don't engage in the bf/ff threads as I am firmly on one side of the camp so feel it is best left well alone

it is my second child free day and the childminder has texted me to say he has woken up happy and smiley so I should stop feeling bad and get on with some work!

lackaDAISYcal · 19/06/2008 10:53

hi andie

that poster and I have kissed and made up...I think!

great that DS is settling in nicely with the childminder....so crack on missus and get some work done

where's the foxy lady got to? was she away all week? I thought it was just the weekend?zzwev fgbbbb

OP posts:
LittleMissNorty · 19/06/2008 10:57

Is she at ladies day????

DD has been in bed since 8.30am .....think I should have gone back as well

andiem · 19/06/2008 11:00

I'm sure she said she was going away for a few days

norty you should ahve gone back to bed

LittleMissNorty · 19/06/2008 11:04

How bloody annoying....I've just checked on her and she is sparko - if I had known she was going to sleep this long I would've gone back to bed.....now she probably won't have a lunch-time nap....

Hows the book editing going Andie?

andiem · 19/06/2008 11:11

ok norty have read two chapters and sent comments bcak to the authors so getting there

lackaDAISYcal · 19/06/2008 11:20

DD has just crawled on my lap and fallen asleep for the second time this week. She is not normally clingy like this; it's quite nice to have a snuggly baby again

Norty, see if you can get 40 winks whilst she finishes her nap.

I hope you are taking it easy on the work front. A full week in three days is hard enough without early pregnancy to contend with too! Have you got a scan date yet?
