Oh Holly I just caught up. Good luck with your theory test. I failed my aussie one 4 times, so you are bound to do better than me!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 17/06/2008 20:07

The hell is I've already passed it once, when I was 17, but it only lasts 2 years and it's expired!

Norty, did you get an email for just pushchairs or travel systems? I'm sure I applied for pushchairs too, but I haven't had the email. Maybe the other one I chose was strollers.

HellHathNoFury · 17/06/2008 20:07

What about pontins?

LittleMissNorty · 17/06/2008 20:20

Just says pushchairs Holly....if I get that, you may have to help me out...I'm so not a pushchair hun ....not that you are I hasten to add ....but at least you know what's what!

Will wait and see....

Good luck with the theory....in my day you didn't need a theory....or parallel parking

LittleMissNorty · 17/06/2008 20:22

Jammy, I went here for my first anniversary....and it was luuuuurrrvvveeeellly ....mind you, breakfast on our balcony cost £50 and it was a bit nouvelle cuisine (or wanky food as my DH thought)

HellHathNoFury · 17/06/2008 20:24

Jammy that looks lush

I just checked out pontins website...my mum is going there, she says it's great, but I remain unconvinced

HellHathNoFury · 17/06/2008 20:24

Jammy?! I mean NORTY

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 17/06/2008 20:25

It's ok norty, I freely admit to being a full on pushchair hun! I think I've had every brand now (except for my desperately needed Stokke)!

We are probably going to Pontins in France Fury (except it's called Siblu). It's very cheap, but we were looking at september. I don't know what price the school holidays would be though. It's worth a look.

lackaDAISYcal · 17/06/2008 20:27

we're actually off to ponitns next weekend for a free holiday! well we paid £40 to upgrade to get the weekend we wanted...if it's any good we will consider it. I was hoping for something a wee bit more upmarket though

It was very nice and from where I live was quicker to get to Brussels than London....and got a bargain on the Eurostar website at the time.

Those were the days....lie-ins and lots of shagging .....I have to say the best thing about it was the king size beds and individual single duvets.....so no fighting over the duvet ....and we were upgraded when we got there.

They even stamped "Conrad Brussels" into the sand in the fecking ashtrays

lackaDAISYcal · 17/06/2008 20:31

y'know if I get the twin buggies (obviously it was after my pregnancy test that I applied) where the hell will we put the buggers? you can hardly get in our garage as it is. DH is going to go ballistic! hopefully the thought of a free pram will help him come to terms with it!

OP posts:
HollyPutTheKettleOn · 17/06/2008 20:36

Yes daisy, dp went fucking mental about the pushchairs...until he realised we would make over a grand from selling them and he will get his new tv!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 17/06/2008 20:38

I think we're looking for somewhere UK based, and prob just one night away, but that Conrad place looks good. We'll prob get a set of GPs down while we go away.

lackaDAISYcal · 17/06/2008 20:52

I'm watching 10 years younger and getting really annoyed. I could look fecking 10 years younger if I spent fecking thousands on plastic surgery and expensove hair implants and teeth.....sheesh.

OP posts:
HollyPutTheKettleOn · 17/06/2008 20:58

I don't think I'd want to look 10 years younger...dp would get prosecuted!!

lackaDAISYcal · 17/06/2008 21:02

lol holly

Hoseasons website is shite. it takes ages to load anything and the searches are so tedious...........

Is everone OK? Did I read that right Norty?

Feel free to send me to Coventry (though I'll have to get the map out to find out how far down south it is)

Seansgirlthesequel · 17/06/2008 22:34

Sorry to hear about the pox Fury, though if any help DD had it when she was four and I have to say you couldn't tell she was ill, it was the week before christmas and she nearly drove me mad, she was off pre school she had soooo much energy! Its better to have it young so I'm told. I am semi testament to that had it when 13 and was very ill for 3.5 weeks, and I did drive my parents mad!!! Have very vivid memories of being slathered in calomine .

Anyway hope he is not feeling too bad. and that you can have a good week off together and enjoy some quality time

Am very of all this testing talk, I must have been awol at the time of application
