Hi all, great to read about everyone's los trying out food We're doing the spoon/purree thing, and Tamara has now had carrot, sweet potato, butternut squash, apple, pear, banana and mango. Mango was the big winner (thanks Barristermum!!) but parsnip today went down quite well too. I've just made up a big batch of apricot puree and another of courgette, pea and basil....all in the freezer looking very sweet in their little ice cubes! Its funny, I remembered making puree being a big faff from ds but this time its this small chore I fit into 5 mins here and there........another of those little things thats a lot easier second time around, I guess Anyway, I have also been offering T those little apple and cinnamon ricecakes, which she enjoys gumming on, so I'm being a bit more finger-y than I was with ds!
for those with poor sleepers, esp Katie, Susie and Lilyloo...thats so hard for you and I have to admit that I'm not sure how I would cope...nowhere near as well as you, that's for sure! Thank goodness T sleeps well - we dropped her 11pm 'dream feed' last night and it made no difference at all - she still went down at 7.30pm and got woken by dh at 8am ...hurrah! Shame ds had me up 3 times in the night....
Um...petits filous...have to admit that brings out the food-sergeant-major in me....I was quite to discover how much sugar is in them and you can't get a sugar free version....anyway, I've just recently started very occasionally buying them for ds (nearly 3) as a special treat but he was quite happy on rachel's organic sugar-free yoghurt until now so I think I'll stick with that for dd....although I am positive she would love the petit filous given the chance!!
OK, got to run, sorry no personals, hope you all keeping well and enjoying the tennis xxx
