Yes I am doing nappy free time. DS did a stealth poo on the towel when I wasn't loking this morning though.

gingeme · 28/06/2008 22:47

Thats good thats one less than in the nappy next to the skin. We had George bare bum this afternoon so Edward decided he wanted to be naked too and got himself undressed Hes so funny when he finds his willy. Its like a new toy. Well arent all males like that

AngeChica · 28/06/2008 22:53

Gingeme.

gingeme · 28/06/2008 22:54

Ds3 is doing a sponsored toddle for Barnados at our local park in the morning then we are going to a fete at my friends dc school. Dh goes back to work tommorrow too
George only wakes once at night now. About 4 am for a nottle and bum change then sleeps till about 7am.
Once he drops that feed hes in with his brothers.
Anyway night all. Sweet dreams xxx

Sometimes I need reminding why I chose to have children?!!

DD has had several melt downs already today the big one was in her buggy as we were getting ready to go to school fete and DS tells me he has poo on his legs!! Had to leave her screaming to sort him out.

Then when we got to fete DS had a great time went on fire engine, bouncy castle etc I bought him a new football. When it was time to go total temper tantrum, sink to floor etc kicking screaming the lot. And of course I only had single buggy..

gingeme · 29/06/2008 15:48

Oh poor you Simpson. How old is she?
We had a lovely morning doing our toddle. It was lovely to spend some quality time with ds3. We walked around the park and he had his face painted. Some fruit and squash was passed around and we even won a prize on the raffle
Came home to a lovely lunch and my friend bought a pot of her home made lemon curd for me . Yummy yum yum.
George is trying to crawl I'm sure of it He's up on his hands and knees every oppertunity he gets. He even banged his head on the end of his cot this morning where he was rocking back and forward so much. Can't believe he is doing this already......
Anyone elses lo doing this?

simpson · 29/06/2008 16:45

Gingeme - glad you had good time today it is nice to do different things with them. Had a fab time at fete till tantrum. DD is 21 wks DS 2.10 yrs.

I think this day is a total right off though. Was going to be all vertious (sp) and cook DS chicken & veg for tea, cut open last spud and its all rotten in the middle. Grr...

simpson · 29/06/2008 17:35

Lucky - happy birthday, hope you are having a good day and being v pampered!!

LuckySalem · 29/06/2008 18:22

Hey Simpson - thanks. No I'm having a crappy day. DD is being extra wingey and although DP tried his hardest for birthday presents eventually (went out at 12pm today) I just don't feel like its my birthday. Must be because i'm getting older! haha.
Hope everyone is ok! xx

simpson · 29/06/2008 19:04

Yipee!! Both DCs down for the night. End of the worst day ever.

(simpson does jig round the house!!)

LuckySalem · 29/06/2008 19:13

LOL simpson - Just put DD to bed which is nice.
Got someone from freecycle coming to pick up our old rat cage. Will be nice to have a clear yard!

fillybuster · 29/06/2008 19:26

Hi all, hope you all had lovely weekends and enjoyed the weather - got to make the most of it whilst it lasts, huh?!

MM - am for you, but you need to just let it go. We all know that Nathan has an amazing mother - and he knows it too...so sod what anyone else thinks...

Susie and Lilyloo - Tamara loves the organix apple and pear oatmeal, in fact she has been putting away ever increasing quantities of the stuff and all her food in general. Since she has now worked her way through all the available (limited) flavours of the only pre-made single-food puree I'm prepared to feed her (I've only found one brand, called Beechnut, which makes veg puree which is just the single specified vegetable, eg carrot, and water with nothing else added) I guess I'm going to have to start cooking for her tomorrow! Unless anyone can recommend any other brands which make parsnip, beans, swede and other veg types?

Simpson - I've found Tamara's milk intake has increased since we started weaning, and she's waking up hungrier than she was before as well. Strange...almost as though introducing solids has triggered a growth spurt...

OK, off to collapse in front of the tv. I've had a low-grade bug all weekend and am still feeling quite ropey. Dh off to play tennis so I'm going to watch crap lightweight tv alone Hugs to all xxx

fillybuster · 29/06/2008 19:26

Oops......meant to say 'happy birthday Lucky'!!

simpson · 29/06/2008 19:48

I feel better now ... have glass of wine in hand!!

Filly - Really wanted to wait till 26 wks but MAY introduce a small bit of baby rice in the hope DD has more milk like Tamara.

Want to do BLW though so may give rice for a week or 2 then try BLW. Do you think this will confuse her?

Lucky - sorry you had pants day too. Hope DP cooked you nice birthday meal.

lilyloo · 29/06/2008 20:04

evening all

Simpson enjoy your glass or two you sound like you need it

Filly dd the same she loves it had full prtion today for first time! I know if you look up organic food you can get it made specially for you but imagine that costs £ , cheaper to diy (i know overmydeadbody does it)

Lucky no joy with mail , hope you had nice day what pressies did you get ?

Gingeme bet you hoping he doesn't start crawling yet I think Naetha lo is trying too!

Well had nice day here went to local school fete too dd had her nails and face painted and ds played football.
Then took dd for her danicng rehearsal , she in a show next Sunday with her dancing class.
Shame it rained though but we use to it up here so just stuck waterproofs on and braved it but barbecue was bit of a wash out and left me with second thougts of doing one for dd christening!
