March 2007: Babies no longer: the road to Toddlerdom

MrLSG · 01/05/2008 22:50

MrsLSG suggested it, so her it is...

I've observed that calling Toby a baby isn't really accurate anymore, he (as one of the younger March babies - actually being born in April) is now toddlering (or is that staggering?), hence the title of the thread.

Sorry if Dad's aren't allowed around here: But Toby just loved joining in garden football with his big brother and dad earlier tonight.

catweazle - I had this once when they called me because ds2 had had two dirty nappies in 10 minutes. Sounds like they were just a bit overeager about changing him the first time and had interrupted him mid poo if you ask me! That wasn't his usual keyworker though, and usually it's fine.

catweazle · 17/09/2008 18:34

Lunar I actually wondered if they'd changed her mid-poo too. kitty I'm glad it's not just me.

Took her in this morning and she was all smiles. Her keyworker asked if she was better so I said she was absolutely fine and nothing wrong with her.I thought I'd wait and see if it happens again and then make a big fuss.

SuperSillyus · 18/09/2008 09:50

having an anxiety attack thread

Loose poos here too.

sillybigsausage · 18/09/2008 12:57

Anyway so house needs to be made nice for PIL as she is domestic goddess and well I ain't

Finn fabby but been waking in the night which ahs been utter shock to system. Susepct 2nd molars...

right washing machine has stopped so must go hang out some more stuff...
DULL LIFE ALERT!!!

kiwibella · 18/09/2008 13:53

I get loose nappies too... but I think that there is a difference between loose and runny loose (ie being unwell). CW It's a shame that your nursery felt that they needed to send your lo home if they were normal poos.

Hope that your tum is feeling better sillysausage.

Have a great time at the party Piffle... especially spending the evening with your dh without the children.

We're also back on regular two-hour night wakings... it's shocking. She's being picky with her food and not eating alot so I am trying to understand what is up with the little girl. I lay there last night hoping that hubs would tend to the crying child until MissE came in and got her for me... I didn't know until this morning that hubs had just been up giving her a bottle.

The sun is shining and it feels like spring. How confusing is this weather??

kiwibella · 18/09/2008 13:53

that is... Kate has loose bowels in her nappies. I'm ok... and not actually wearing nappies .

SuperSillyus · 19/09/2008 18:26

bethoo · 23/09/2008 13:00

Theblonde sorry about your mm/c, i had one before ds and they are horrible in that you are led into a false sense of security and by that time you are sure all is well when you get to the scan. i was inconsolable at the time.

mowed the lawn thsi morning hoping to being on labour. she is well and truly wedged in there. >

not much else goign on, binned the xdp though feel terrible as kee[ getting teary messages on my answering machine, something through the sobs about a family!!! have a date on Wednesday so will let you know how that went. he knows i am having a baby and is ok with it since only got 2 weeks to go. sods law i will go into labout tonight or tomorrow morning and miss opportunity of romance! he is going through a divorce and has two little girls. but i understand his need not to get me involved just yet with the kids, blimey i have not even met him yet and already we are discussing things likethat! but good to get it sorted now, i jsut hope we like each other, we get on well on the phone so you never know!

must get on with the tidying!

TheBlonde · 23/09/2008 13:10

well done on the mowing!

date sounds interesting, you'll have to report back if you don't go into labour before then

Piffle · 23/09/2008 18:55

bethoo
Much respect for dating new guy 2weeks before due date pmsl
How did you meet? Surely you did not go out on the pull 8 mths pregnant?
Chrikey I could barely get out of bed then!!!!!

bethoo · 23/09/2008 19:28

sounds cheesy but we met on dating site on facebook then became friends. i was aloof about meeting him but when we became mates he looked at my profile and saw i was pregnant so asked me about it etc. so we have been chatting on the phone for hours and he is convinced he will like me when he sees me so he is bringing a take away over to mine tomorrow. jsut hope i do not go into labour!
quite lucky that did not have to leave the sofa to find a man!

SuperSillyus · 24/09/2008 09:33

Bethoo rofl about your date, good on you woman!

kiwibella · 24/09/2008 13:26

hi girls super slut here! it was a lovely evening, we chatted all night and did not go to bed til after midnight to sleep but ended up talking for a further 2 hours1 i am going back to bed whereas he is on the road so feel kind of bad! but i did not want to go to sleep as then i knew that it would be morning and he would have to go, sounds silly i know! yes we were naughty, i am so easy! but i enjoyed myself and it felt good. he was saying how sexy i was > god i am so cynical! hopefully if he is still interested we may go to cinema on friday as depends on child care and hopefully a petting farm on sunday for ds and he has invited me to ireland for his birthday so you never know. dont want to say too much becasue usually when i say how happy i am i get dumped!

SuperSillyus · 25/09/2008 09:59

Brilliant Bethoo! Fantastic way to alleviate the boredom of waiting for labour to start hope it all works out, that would be lovely and you can always joke about how you started out
