HAPPY BIRTHDAY Harriet
Still haven't caught up will try later.HOPE ALL ARE OK

Pisha · 05/05/2008 19:20

Well N carried on being sick every hour or so till about 2or3 am, J got ill around 11pm and M got ill around 1 am so I was up and down every hour or more through the night clearing up sick and stroking backs. Then from about 6 or 7 am I started to feel rough and started being sick myself Rang my step dad (was ringing my mum actually but she wasn't there!) and he came and took Dylan, who seems much better today, to a medieval fair in Glastonbury which was fantastic cos it meant we could sleep all afternoon, in between the odd bit of cleaning up sick obviously.

We all seem to have stopped being sick now except Maia who is still pretty rough although slowly picking up. Still very achey and bad stomach cramps though.

We've been eating ice lollys and drinking water and lucozade, can't face anything else. Perhaps I should go weigh myself and see how much I've lost, see if I can match GM!!

StealthPolarBear · 05/05/2008 19:25

Pisha

Sexonlegs · 05/05/2008 19:32

Oh Pisha How grim.

Seems to be a lot of it about. Dreading it hitting here. Hope you are all feeling better soon.

Hi Dooby

CaptainDippy · 05/05/2008 19:43

I'm off out to see a friend, might pop by later. Night. xx

geordieminx · 05/05/2008 20:13

Hey ladies;

There really does seem to be something going around at the moment. Still feeling yucky, not been sick since this morning though Its times like this I miss having family near by - its been a killer today dp and I both being ill and having the bouncing tigger to look after. Twas a god send that dp was off work right enough, as there is no way I could have coped by myself - barely been able to keep my eyes open!!

Pisha - hope yours start and pick up soon.

Dippy - have a good night!

NL - Hope the packing is going ok - I really dont envy you - I would never move again if I have the choice - moved 15 times in the past 10 years!!!

Pisha · 05/05/2008 21:10

GM - its a nightmare being ill with dc isnt it?! Its when I'm ill that I wish I worked then at least I'd be able to send 'em off to childcare still!! Was very lucky that dp was here too and hadn't worked last night so before and after step dad coming we were able to take it in shifts to look after D.

I'm slightly suspicious that it may have been food poisoning as we all came down with t so violently and so quickly and all at the same time, I've never known a bug do that before. Also the tummy bug that D had was very different, much more gradual and less violent and he's the only one of us who didnt eat any of the chicken

Sexonlegs · 05/05/2008 21:23

Where is everyone tonight? Not got your heads in the sick bowl I hope.

Pisha, does sound like fp then? Was it your cooking???

runnyhabbit · 05/05/2008 21:24

Pesha, that sounds awful Hope you all start to feel better soon x

W has been mega grizzly all day. Won't eat anything, and has got a temperature I'm thinking its either a) teething (has all the symptoms) or, because b) its a bank holiday (ended up in hospital the last BH)

Sexonlegs · 05/05/2008 21:25

Hi Runny. Not another poorly babe. Hope it just turns out to be teething and nothing more.

Watching the second part of Flood - it is so shockingly awful!

penpotEca · 05/05/2008 21:27

evening all

sorry to hear everyone is poorly and on a bank hol too.

I've spent the day working and T has had a daddy day. He's been playing in the garden loads and loves eating digging compost I had to strip him down and wash him in a plastic tub outside before he came in. He had compost in his nappy . Bless him, he's snugged up in his cot now after a hard day pulling up my plants weeding!

He seems to be dropping of his milk feeds at the mo, so I feel like I'm constantly leaking milk everywhere. On the up-side I decided it was time for a new (non-nursing) bra and treated myself to really pretty one from Bravissimo . Finally I've hoisted up the boobs and rediscovered my waist ! Although in a moment of madness I bought the matching pants for £14. We just wont eat for a couple of days!

penpotEca · 05/05/2008 21:30

Just to say, all those sicky mummies, remember to take some probiotics to get your tums right again quicker. Just saw your post pisha that it might be food poisoning and probiotics would really help. Or even just eating some live yogurt would help. Don't think children can take the probiotics, but they can eat the live yogurt.

Pisha · 05/05/2008 21:33

SOL, how very dare you?!

They were actually shop bought chickens I think from the dinner J and kids had at J's nan and grandad's. J bought lots home for me to eat, wish he hadn't bothered now! GPs are fine but there were 2 chickens and think they ate the other one. Not sure really but cant think of any other explanation.

RH - sorry W is poorly, hope it is just teething.

Eca sounds like T had a fab day with daddy

Am considring a bit of toast but not sure if I should risk it Might just have another lolly!

Pisha · 05/05/2008 21:35

Eca - theres a yummy greek yogurt and honey style bio yog they sell in tescos so will have to get some tomorrow then, thank you Always good to have an excuse to buy it!!

Sexonlegs · 05/05/2008 21:46

Sorry Pisha How very dare me!

Get that yogurt down you! I remember buying a live yogurt about 15 years ago, and couldn't bring myself to open it in case it came crawling out!!!!!

Eca, good to see you and glad that T has had such a lovely day. pmsl at being washed off before coming in!

penpotEca · 05/05/2008 21:52

sol&pisha - lol at you two!

That yog sounds good P . When I was 16 I worked on the cold section in Somerfield. Someone asked me for live yog and I was very not knowing what on earth they were on about !

Sexonlegs · 05/05/2008 21:54

Right, am shattered, so off to bed.

Sleep well lovelies and hope everyone is as right as rain tomorrow. xx

NorthernLurker · 05/05/2008 22:13

The house is a disaster area waiting to be packed tomorrow, I've got a job form to do and I just want to go to sleep!
