Morning all

Happy Birthday Phoebe and Alexanne

Molly won't be going to have her injections after all, she isn't very well was up half the night and coughing with a temp - I was convinced it was croup, as it was just that kind of cough iykwim, and she was all wheezy, but then at about 2 am ds3 started coughing aswell, so think it is just a really nasty cold she is all clingy and cuddly, and spent the night in our bed, with the covers off as she was too hot bless her.

SPB wish I could advise, but I am useless and lazy and don't put my little ones to bed 'til they crash out....

Dooby - child minding sounds a good idea.....is there much call for it where you are?

POTC - sorry M's dad isn't being fair to you.

SOL - hope K's injection goes ok x

Pesha - I would have the older car

NL - how are things????

Hello, to Oooggs, Elkie, Eddas, GM and anyone else I have missed out x

geordieminx · 30/04/2008 11:29

Hey ladies;

Feeling utterly and totally fed up today.

C was up most of the night - not sure why - crying and then wide awake and wanting to play. Eventually got him off to sleep about 3 in my bed but he wriggled and climbed about most of the night - and was up at 6.30.

Dp' family arent able to come to C's birthday - as they have other stuff on - I know that really it isnt a big deal and that its only a tea party but its upset me a bit.

Weather isn crap, got loads of stuff that I need to be doing for the weekend but I cant seem to get my head round it and most of the thing canbt be done until Saturday at the earliest.

C is now in a foul mood and doesnt want to do anything other than play with the tv and dvd or try and break the laptop and is crying hysterically whenever I tell him no.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Sorry for the rant.

weeonion · 30/04/2008 11:30

gmm - is it too early for a cheeky vimto???

geordieminx · 30/04/2008 11:31

Me too. Effed off with the weather and K whinging.

Caz, poor M. Hope she picks up soon. x

GM, what a shite night. I am sorry you are feeling naffed off.

Luce, how are the dc?

I am fed up today too. Fed up of having to yell at B to get ready in the morning, fed up of getting soaked on the school run and fed up of being constantly covered in snot and/or food.

K is becoming a pita to feed. She takes the spoon and flings it everywhere. If I take the spoon off her she refuses to eat. She does have finger food, but not all the time. I am a neat freak!!!!!! Hate mess!!!!

Rant over.

How is everyone?

We have had fun at Jo Jingles and have menc jab at 2.00. Dreading it.

mammyjo · 30/04/2008 13:20

Hi all. Everyone sounds down today, hope things pick up soon xxx

I have seen the surgeon who has put me on the waiting list as he said I do need to have my gallbladder out I knew that he would tell me that, but it feels real now because I am formally on the list, and will eventually have to have the op. Have shed a few tears today as I am scared tbh. Oh well, it won't be for a little while as the waiting list is between 3 and 6 months anyway.

SOL, hope you feel brighter now

GMM, it is so hard when you feel crap and the lo's are being difficult too. Shame dp's family can't come to the tea party, I would be upset about it too. Hope you are ok xxx

Pesha, I hope you have made a decision about the car. I am no help whatsoever, as long as it goes and I can get to where I need to be, I am happy!

Oooggs and NL, hope work is going ok

WO, feel for you with those horrendous early starts. Hope you are ok. Are you looking for something else or are you going to see how things pan out?

POTC, I think you need to try and ignore Andy if he is being weird. He is jealous I guess, as he has had you to himself (not in relationship I know) for a long time. If you are happy then enjoy it, as that is what counts xxx

See you all later xxx

Bramshott · 30/04/2008 13:33

Hi everyone.

Happy Birthday to Phoebe (who hopefully is having a lovely time at Centre Parcs!) and Alexanne.

Happy Birthday to Phoebe and Alexanne!

SOL, hope the jab is done now and went ok xx

Luce, I have spoken to a few people that I know who have had the same op, they are all much better now than they were before it iykwim. Is your neighbour ok? I am just really scared of having a general anaesthetic Have never needed one in the past and I really do not like the idea one bit.

Runny, did you manage to get an appt today? Hope you did, what an attitude for the doctor to have. Ridiculous.

Hi there. In my self absorbed moan I forgot to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY Phoebe and Alexanne. Hope you are having a lovely day.

MJ, my friend had her gallbladder out too, and she said she was amazed at how quickly she recovered. Hope you are ok. xx

Luce, must be a large treadmill with 4

All went well with the jab, and K now weighs 19 pounds 3 ounces - back on the 25th %ile.

Sorry for the moan earlier. Just having one of those days. I think the weather is just wearing me down.

StealthPolarBear · 30/04/2008 18:07

Happy Birthday Phoebe!

WO, that sounds like a nightmare
GM, how is C doing now?
caz, sorry Molly is ill Hope she is better very soon
MJ glad you have a date!

elkiedee · 30/04/2008 18:54

Happy birthday Phoebe and Alexanne

runnyhabbit · 30/04/2008 19:12

I think I'm still in a state of shock
Started ringing dr surgery at 8am - engaged. Kept constantly redialling, and managed to get through at, wait for it, 8.05am nearly fell over when they answered Was able to see female dr at 9am, who told me that I've got -tmi alert- prolapsed pile, that has healed itself (hence no pain)

mj glad you've got you got a timescale for the op.

Dh away again tonight, and J should be in bed sleeping, instead he keeps saying mummy over and over again for the slightest thing.

Am going to change my name to daddy as they seem to only have to deal with nice stuff

cazboldy · 30/04/2008 19:14

Lol runny know exactly what you mean about daddies...........

cazboldy · 30/04/2008 19:14

and glad you got on ok at the doctors x

Pesha · 30/04/2008 19:24

Runny glad you managed to get a doctor's appointment and that it was ok.

MJ - glad you have been put on the list, hope you don't have to wait too long. I know what you mean about being scared of GA, I've only had one as a teenager but was very scared although didn't talk to anyone.

D been miserable whingy baby all day and now refusing to go to sleep Has couple teeth coming through and a cold and cough, don't think they're related as I have cold too. Feel very sorry for him as he normally really happy so obviously in pain and unhappy but I really am not good at dealing with constantly crying, clingy babies. J trying to sleep so better go and try and shut him up get him to sleep

Sexonlegs · 30/04/2008 19:31

Evening.

Runny, really glad you got a docs appointment so quickly.

Caz, how is M?

GM, how is C?

Pesha, enjoy your new car when you got it. Saw your note on Facebook!!
K has been a whingy bag today too. I think she was just exhausted. As soon as I put her down this evening she rolled on to her tummy, pulled her knees up and not a sound out of her!

Well, girls are down and I am on the wine already. Oooggs!!!!!!!!!

Pesha · 30/04/2008 19:37

I'm back!! Gave neurofen [fingers crossed emoticon]

Meant to say earlier sorry so many of us are feeling down and stressed today

Well J had to go to Occupational health today about his knee to check he's fit for work was all ok which good. Had to go to Bristol to see them so while we were there we went to look at another A3! Its a 51 plate 1.8T sport, 150 bhp, 65,000 miles, full leather interior (although its a sort of mustard colour so not so good but I guess could grow on me its different at least!), cd multichanger, twin exhaust, alloys... and best of all its a very dark metallic Blue so I decided I had to have it!! Didn't knock price down (as was pretty cheap anyway) but got him to throw in 1 years AA warranty instead of standard 3 months and 6 months tax so not too bad. It's lurvely to drive Going back tomorrow now its had MOT to pay and collect it (assuming the settlement money hads gone into account, they said 3-5 days last Thursday so bloody better have!). Went for test drive with D in his car seat so know it fits and still plenty of room for other 2. Have to sort out insurance now. Thank you all for all your help and opinions, specially GMM Mwah xx
