Just got quotes of gocompare, had assumed they'd be roughly same as autotrader which is also a search lots of insurance co.s thing but its half the price! So older one is now only only £60per year more than newer one compared to couple hundred on other site! (Although goes back up to over a grand if I put J on it! )

Will get the older one I think. J will be pleased, he likes leather!
