Rigby and Pellar

muppetgirl · 03/06/2008 18:59

Rigby and Pellar sort the queen out don't you know....

J20 - I met up with dh at a pub with all my girlie friends texting me every 20 mins or so! Just make sure your lovely ladies know where you are, take your phone with you at all times -you could even take a photo of him an email it these days.

bird woman /Inzi - you're lovely you are x

LLL- glad you went and glad Ben was better must be a relief he's keeping food down.

I'm off out to see sex and the city tonight, not a real fan as such as I didn't watch the series but it should be a giggle. We have parts of Swindon that have flooded again as it's rained that much today and what with the exciting road building it's all fun and games getting around at the mo. It took us nearly an hour to get to school today and then an hour to get home beacuse roads were shut. ARRRGGGHHHH. I can't wait to move in 5 years. (I know it's a wait but a girl can get excited )

Take care all
x

J2O · 03/06/2008 19:33

still never heard of it, am rubbish with stuff like that!

well, if you all want to have a nosy, he's on my facebook as Robbie B...., maybe you should all poke him or something and i'll tell him everyone'll hunt him down if he does anything untoward, mwa ha ha

Shannon has just poo'd everywhere during nappy free time, Just had to give her 2 baths, one to rinse it off, and stuck her in a bowl, while i refilled it and then washed her properly, babies are so gross sometimes!

strawberrylace · 03/06/2008 21:03

hello everyone!
So much to catch up on with everyone, so apologies to anyone i miss out!
Anyasmum ? great news on the test results
Floria ? wow at Alex?s walking! Shame he won?t eat your dinners tho, they sound amazing
Alicet ? hope you got your coffee, and that the job is not stressing you too much. I just found out today that my boss has suddenly left, so not sure what that means for me going back now?
Dal ? curry and haircut sound great for a birthday
Inzi ? lol about Jane?s water trick!
Muppet ? congrats on your DH?s news ? hope it stops raining soon
LLL ? glad your weekend away was good and that Ben is on the mend
J2O ? hope the date is great?.

Well, I have just signed DS up for swimming lessons ? 8 weeks at our local council pool for £32 ? not sure what he?ll actually learn, but seeing as he?s loved the water both times I?ve taken him, I thought this would be a fun thing to do. Tomorrow we are off to Babybounce in the library and then meeting mums for coffee after. Not much else to report!

Inzi; Glad BOB is still with us You are a much braver woman than I if you are going to post your weight on here..that is a secret between me and the weigh-in woman at SW that nothing could drag out of me

Oh and following my los latest milestone, my suggestion for the new thread title is...."this little piggy walked to market!"

LisaLessLumpy · 04/06/2008 07:57

Or this little piggy rolled to market, this little piggy crawled to marked and 'this' little piggy walked to market.

muppetgirl · 04/06/2008 08:17

Morning all...

Well it rained again so much that the major road to Ollie's school is closed so he's having a day at home. Swindon just cannot cope with this rain we seem to be having of late. Lovely and sunny now though.
Sex and the city was okay. I thought Carrie was a rather spoiled little girl in an adult women's body, Mr Big was a typical 'I can't talk to women' man but as the rest of the audience actually gasped when he showed her her new closet I guess I was in the minority with this view I hadn't watched the tv series so maybe that's why. Looks like there are quite a few films coming up that are definately worth another outing to the cinema so I'm not going to leave it so long next time. Need to go an wake my lazy baby up as we're off out soon. My thread title would be 'this little piggy stretched and yawned....then went back to sleep'
xx

muppetgirl · 04/06/2008 08:18

Inzi -I'm hoping bob has made it through the night

LisaLessLumpy · 04/06/2008 08:20

I wish mine did he was awake at 5am this morning. Cried on and off till 5.40 whereupon I gave in and gave him half a bottle of milk. Luckily managed to go back to sleep till 7.30am though

Sun is shining here this morning too for once and it looks like it is going to be nice for Sam's party on saturday too, hurrah!

Inzi-isn't Jane clever! my hv tried to get Shannon to copy her by banging 2 blocks together and then offering them to Shannon, but she just kept eating them, so hv asked me to do it and Shannon took them off me and copied, she was so clever! hadn't really thought of doing things like that with her, she's not really got any distinguishable words yet, she makes the same noise but changes the tone for different things iyswim.
oh its actually Robbie, not Robert, think he's on a boat.

I didn't get to sleep till 2am last night, someones car alarm was going off, have been struggling to get up this week, Shannon has been sleeping really well lately though (touch wood) sorry to those suffering with lack of sleep, Choc-how are you doing?

Muppet-we're not coping with the rain very well neither, although its sunny today, if we have rain like last year i bet schools'll get closed again.

oh no, she's awake, better go, have a nice day all

oops, sorry, dont know what happened there!

Dalrymps · 04/06/2008 09:40

Hey birdwoman and everyone else,
Glad 'Bob' made it through the night . Wow at Jane saying Hello and Bye bye! And pmsl at the floating cup trick, maybe she'll be a magician
Thread title, how about a combo? 'This little piggy walked to market, this little piggy rolled at home'
Muppet, glad you kind of enjoyed sex and the city, I used to watch the series and can't wait to see it but there's no cinema in berwick .
I will post my weight as i'm not really bothered and hopefully it'll make some of you feel a bit better if it's close to yours... I was 12st 3lb, last time I checked I was 11st 13lb so lost 4lb. Will keep trying, i'm very loosley following some of the principles of the gmtv bikini diet and having sunday as my 'treat day' so I don't eat bad stuff during the week, doing well so far this week . I'd like to get down to 10st ideally, was 9st 4lb when I started uni, that seems impossible now and determined to loose some though, especially seen as though i'm going to be my brothers bridesmaid in July in Cornwall
Strawberry, Hope you enjoyed coffee with your friends and the work situation gets sorted out.
J20, there are 2 robbie b's, tell us which one pleeeeease , oh, and go easy on him
LLL - at you wearing the wrong bra size but great excuse to buy some new ones very of your R&P shopping spree, i've never been there but have definately heard of it. I'll have to get my bras sorted, like inzi I was in my nursing bras until a few weeks ago when I decided to wear my pre pregnancy underwired numbers but they just don't fit like they used to, Not sure if it's cause i've changed size or shape , been browsing the bravissimo catalogue but not sure what size I am anymore.
Floria, WOW! I can't actually believe that Alex has started walking, thats so amazing! My nephew wasn't walking till he was about 13 months and I think thats pretty average so he's definately well advanced in that department! Well done Alex
Sorry Sir refused your culinary creation, Dylan did this last night exept it was a Hipp Jar of Organic butternut squash and chicken cause we were out and about at pils, anyway he wouldn't entertain it at all but as soon as I tried him with his banana and custard desert he started wolfing it down [little monkey] so mil said 'you'll have to sneak the chiken in between' so I tried it, a spoon of one then the other, and.... He didn't even notice and at both! thank god for mil, why didn't I think of that before? definately going to use thst tactic in the future!
Off to give Master Dalrymple his breakfast now (slept in this morning) catch ya all soon and as usual, hi to anyone I haven't mentioned

LisaLessLumpy · 04/06/2008 09:51

OK, I'll post my weight too. I'm 5ft 3 at the start of Jan I was 13st 1 pound, I am now 11st 5lb, my aim is to be 10st 7 pound by the end of August for my SiL's wedding.

Dalrymps · 04/06/2008 10:13

Wow LLL you've done really well so far, hope I can keep at it as well as you have i'm sure you'll reach your target.
Oh I forgot to post my height, I think 'm about 5ft 5/6 inch.

J2O · 04/06/2008 11:23

just a quickie, cos on way out, Have i really got 2 Robbie B's? i can only see one and a Robert, the one i'm on about's last name is Bell.

oh and inzi, forgot to say, glad Bob is ok so far

be back later xx

AnyasMum07 · 04/06/2008 13:10

Dal - Anya's having about 27oz, most of it from about 4:30 onwards . Lazy day on your birthday sounds lovely - just chilling out with dh and Dylan.

Inzi - aww for the baby birds. I was thinking of a pottery thing for dh for Fathers Day too but don't know where they do them round here. FT do you know of anywhere?

J2O - well done Shannon being such a clever girl. And a Premier Inn is only seedy if you've booked a room .

LLL - glad Ben is better - am sure he will settle down soon. Hope you get the bank sorted - how annoying!

FT - omg at Alex walking!! And Anya will eat your food no problem if you want to give us Alex's leftovers.

Well Anya is crawling, sort of - she will drag herself forwards commando-style if she's encouraged but she's not really doing it of her own free will yet. She's also started sitting properly without falling over - she still doesn't really see the point but at least she's doing it.

Hi to everybody I've not mentioned
x

alicet · 04/06/2008 14:22

Shite I just typed a massive long message and the computer crashed!!! Adam sounds as though he is waking up now so will briefly summarise...

Floria congrats to Alex!

J2O have fun but be careful

Muppet I thought SATC was fab but Big and Carrie would never be together in RL (always thought this in series as well)

LLL congrats on weight loss!

Shit going to have to go - hello to everyone and lets hope I at least manage to post this one!

OP posts:
J2O · 04/06/2008 14:51

alice-i hate it when that happens grr, hope you're ok

anyasmum-well done Anya, thats how shannon started off crawling, came down today and she'd pulled her up on the radiator, really need to remember to put her in her playpen if i leave the room. oh and, erm, {whispers} room booked but i made him pay for it, just in case i end up drinking too much to drive home straight away!

AnyasMum07 · 04/06/2008 15:14

J2O!!!!!

FloriaTosca · 04/06/2008 18:00

Inzi; WOW! at Jane talking! ...and lol at her being so very pleased with herself...oh and... Glad bob is doing ok!

J20; Pleeease be careful...(but enjoy yourself!)and well done Shannon ...sounds like she'll be chasing Alex around at the next meet up...or the other way round as he cant pull himself up on his own yet (thank heavens)

Anyasmum; Well done Anya for crawling (Alex wont even try) How are the job interviews going? As to pottery painting, I'm looking into it...there is one near me but I need to find out times, prices etc

okay, do I really have the only baby who can't roll over/sit up yet? Hen is 7 months today and he actually pushes against you if you try to roll him over and he screams if you put him on his tummy for longer than 10 secs. The HV has said build up the time but how can you if your baby screams when you put them on their tummy, I mean it doesn't make you want to keep doing and for longer...

Can we have another roll call so I can panic over it please

name: Henry
age: 7 months
weight 20lbs 3oz
can do; not much.....very cute chuckle and smile though x
teeth: 2
personality: very smiley and generally very happy with the world.
food: Loves it, will tackle anything and bites and chews fantastically
milk: 3 bottles per day
sleep: 6.30pm - 7-8am ish 2 naps a day of at least 2 hrs.
anything else: is still a mummy's boy and I love it. He loves his bed ( a little too much perhaps ) thinks his brother is fab and is generally a very happy boy.
