My2Weegirls · 20/02/2008 14:06

how's he doing with the cow and gate - is he taking more of that than the other milk?

My2Weegirls · 20/02/2008 14:08

sorry i don't mean to sound like the HV !

tasha22 · 20/02/2008 14:09

no just the same 4oz and ive tried giving him 5 but he doesnt want it. im just so fed up now. i dont understand how he could put on absalutly no weight in 2 weeks when he isnt vomiting or diohrea. i dont understand where the bloody milk is going.

tasha22 · 20/02/2008 14:10

lol no you dont the health visitor is like give him 5oz??

My2Weegirls · 20/02/2008 14:15

he's obviously getting what he needs and is maybe just not a hungry bAby - imo he'd be looking for and taking more if he was hungry.

speaking of which dd2 is hungry!

tasha22 · 20/02/2008 14:18

yea your right, i just wish he would put on weight. gonna do what james does and puree big macs

My2Weegirls · 20/02/2008 14:47

he's had a hard few weeks with his op and recovery - i'm sure he'll start gaining soon. and at least you know you're seeing the paeds soon.

make sure you 'go large' with the big macs

GillL · 20/02/2008 16:24

tasha - my dd was happy with just 4oz at 6 months and that was without any night feeds.

tasha22 · 20/02/2008 16:28

gill how was her weight i know you said she was small but what did hv say?
somebody pls give me a kick up the bum ive done damn all today and couldnt be bothered making a start on the spag bol. kids are doing my head in today too. my fault really cause they are bored.

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 20/02/2008 20:55

Had a pretty awful day, had some really shocking and horrible family news which I'm struggling to get my head around, it means I have to disown my dad, and I have no idea how so that'll be fun.

Didn't manage to get ANY housework done and landlord is still due to come on the weekend. If he walked in right now and saw the upstairs of the house I reckon he'd go mad as it looks like an explosion in adams. I just feel like shovelling everything into a skip and doing the minimalist look.

Just emailed my boss about the amount of work I've been getting through as I only got 4 hours worth last week. Worried there might not be enough work to go round. bums bums bums

Hugs to those having a bad day too, can't really keep up with the messages sorry.

Tasha I'll email you quickly now, then I'm off to watch Run, Fatboy, Run in an effort to cheer myself up. Night all. x

My2Weegirls · 21/02/2008 08:46

oh james - great big hugs. hope you managed to get some sleep.

tasha22 · 21/02/2008 11:39

hope your ok james?
just made app with doc to go back on ads. bit worried about the fact that they want to record it for training purposes though.

My2Weegirls · 21/02/2008 12:06

tasha - wht do mean they want to record it? your consultation on video? you have the right to say no to anything you are uncomfortable with. if you say yes to it being recorded then they must tell you what it will be used for and what will happen with it once they have finished with it.

tasha22 · 21/02/2008 12:25

by tape i think my2weegirls. i dont even no if i can go. wish they would have just wrote me out a prescription.

My2Weegirls · 21/02/2008 12:55

they'll just want to make sure that you are ok and that it's right for you to go on ADs at this time (if definitely needed etc).

seriously though if you don't want to be taped you don't have to be - don't be scared to tell them that either. even if you feel you can't say it, write it down on a bit of paper before you go so you can just hand it over.

J's latest trick: crazy nomnomnom mouthing!

Sorry I sound a bit duh on it! Note the classy santa suit in late feb (it's nice and warm!) and J's mighty plook in the middle of his forehead. I've been calling him spotty and pimplehead all day but he doesn't appear to care.

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 21/02/2008 16:30

Aaw tasha, you poor thing.

Stick cbeebies on, throw a packet of biscuits at them and go have five minutes in the kitchen. Make yourself a cuppa and breathe deeply (possibly on a fag) then go back in when you've calmed down. You're doing a GREAT job, you know!!

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 21/02/2008 18:34

We all have those days, the other day James was practising his screeching. One scream was at the top of his lungs (he was perfectly happy, not crying just screaming) and went on for what seemed like a minute! I ended up shouting at him just to end this bloody scream, and he looked so shocked and worried but my ears were ringing. No-one's perfect.
