No not got a car - we will lose £5k on the purchase price on the kia if I sell it now - and the fiesta I want is £6k - so it essentially makes it an 11k fiesta. Ouch.

And I worked it out that it won't actually save me that much money long term due to the cheaper running costs of the fiesta. So I am going to sell the kia next year when there is more of a market for it (people won't want to buy a 3 month old car they will wonder what's wrong with it and I might have to tell them).

Daisy I think the xlr is lovely if you mainly stay on pavements/shopping centres etc... but it coped not too well with the dog walking

HellHathNoFury · 08/02/2008 14:10

Daisy can you put it up as BIN on ebay?

LardyMardyDaisy · 08/02/2008 14:13

erm, what's BIN

HellHathNoFury · 08/02/2008 14:16

Buy it Now - so no bidding

Sputnik · 08/02/2008 14:29

Afternoon all. Daisy, at your banana guard cover idea, and I think of myself as quite a filthy minded person

LardyMardyDaisy · 08/02/2008 14:31

ta fury...I'd just figured that out

sorry sputnik

So you should be Daisy, thanks to you I will never be able to look at my banana guard in quite the same way.

My Lakeland biscuit guard remains untainted however.

justbeme · 08/02/2008 14:38

Afternoon!
Yes Daisy, you are a filthy minded vixen!! Lol! Silly woman posting a wanted ad then - I agree with Fury - sell it on Ebay, either with a reserve or BIN. (check out the charges tho before you do it).

Well ive been invited out for T at 3pm - and L is asleep - so I suppose Im going to have to wake her- what a shame!

Got all my ironing done! - Might try out the wet facecloth in the tumble drier idea!!

justbeme · 08/02/2008 14:42

Oh and before I go - anyone heard from Elsbells/Ria/MHC/Trace2/BZ - anyone else Ive forgotten?

FairyFay · 08/02/2008 14:42

Fury, I agree that some bits of the P&T are fiddly but overall I really like it. I don't have the footmuff, I'm using the one that came with my original pushchair.

HellHathNoFury · 08/02/2008 14:47

yes I like it too, it seems cleverley designed. Have you seen the new vibe? Oh, to be a millionaire.

The trouble with the footmuff it has that shiny material like a sleeping bag, so there is no friction and it seems to slide down.

FairyFay · 08/02/2008 14:48

BZ and MHC have been on in the past couple of weeks but not sure about the others. I also haven't seen DKMA or Derlor recently

FairyFay · 08/02/2008 14:50

That's the problem isn't it, as soon as you get one thing you think ooh I'd like that and that and that as well. No tips re footmuff I'm afraid.

CalicoHollyFlint · 08/02/2008 14:57

Ooooo fury, you hun!!

I got a new pushchiar this morning too !

Footmuffs are wank in general, I hate them! I have one of these instead. Much more servicable and cosy and doesn't make ds slide down the pushchair seat!

P&Ts rock, I am sooooo needing a Vibe. Dp would shoot me if I got one though!

Daisy, you are bad !

I was thinking about a micralite, it looks lovely. I've had a Zapp and I loved it, really regret selling it. I've just bought another Buzz!!

Afternoon ladies

Well what a day I've had. K had a bath at 5.30am this morning. I opened her sleeping bag and it was neck down in shit so it was straight in the bath and cutting clothes off. It was pretty vile. Then had a bottle and it was projectile vomited across the lounge.....hence 2nd outfit of the day for both of us....Still took her to nursery as I assumed it was her teeth ....they rung at 1pm, could I go and get her.....she puked in the car all over nice new Maxi Cosi Priorfix then another huge diahorrea episode when we got home. 4 nappies, 2 changing mats and 2 outfits in 5 minutes can't be bad. She had chicken curry and rice for lunch and it came out looking exactly the same as it went in .

Anyway since then she has taken (and so far kept down) 7oz dioralyte and 9oz milk....and we both had a little afternoon snooze and cuddle on the sofa

DKMA is on her hols sking.

Delor is on FB but not here?

Hope you are all well....Jammy hope you're feeling better...

FairyFay · 08/02/2008 17:13

I know your pain Norty, we're on 2 changes for me, 3 for DS and goodness knows how many nappy changes, but thankfully no vomit. He's still eating and drinking fine but I am restricting him to very plain food and no dairy (other than formula of course).

I hope DD feels better soon, it's miserable.
