it is a bit weird!

I wouldn't worry overly with the tidying...if it is too pristine, surely it will look like you have purposely done it, and you have got 2 little boys....surely looking after them takes priority anyway?

how do you know it was definitely that w*er who reported you?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 04/02/2008 19:20

because the social worker was a student, and she told me! not sure she was supposed to do that

Skott stayed with the boys while I went to the docs and he said he doesn't see why I should have to do anything as my house is not unsafe, just messy. I feel I should though, so there is as little chance as poss of it looking like they are neglected.

I don't think she was supposed to tell you - but it's good that she did as saves you wondering. A bit of a tidy up will give you confidence - but don't exhaust yourself doing it!

eandh · 04/02/2008 19:50

I hope you don't mind me jumping on here if you eddas on here later can you tell er to text me what the 'colour' is this week at preschool (tried to text her but no reply assuming she is busy rather than ignoring me )

Also as you know I have dd2 (eddas beautiful goddaughter who is 3 months older that your lot and has outgrown her 9-12month bits so have a few bits here if anyone interested

eandh · 04/02/2008 19:51

PillockOfTheCommunity · 04/02/2008 19:52

eandh · 04/02/2008 19:52

huh????

oooggs · 04/02/2008 19:52
  • M is well behaved and well mannered and you are a good mummy and J is a happy child. Stuff your house up his arse (did I just type that ) so a bit untidy, so what!!!!!! you working & parenting takes time - more important than housework and loved and cared for children is more important than a tidy house.

BTW - my house is tidy and my children are little buggers

ds2 is poorly, D&V I think so is in travel cot in my our room (different floor), so he doesn't disturb the other two.

DH should be home tonight

PillockOfTheCommunity · 04/02/2008 19:55

Eddas has a day off to ebay stuff, and you're at it to, thought maybe she'd challenged you to make more money than her

PillockOfTheCommunity · 04/02/2008 20:02

no idea if you're being dense or me, but she posted earlier to say she'd taken a sickie today

OP posts:
eandh · 04/02/2008 20:04

Noooooooooooo what a naughty lady Eddas (although I was very tempted to do a sickie friday!) dh is off this week so I was glad to be at work today (and damn him he coped and cooked dinner, washed up, tidied toys up and bathed and did hair washing of both of the girls [grrrrrr]before I got home)

AngeG · 04/02/2008 20:08

I'm interested in some bits eandh can I email you?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 04/02/2008 20:08

OP posts:
eandh · 04/02/2008 20:10

no problems ange

pilock - he is normlly crap (ask eddas ) great at playing/occupying kids but absolutley useless at housework/tidying etc (although I am very anal about it so extreme opposites) I have just found out my Mum was here at 4pm - that explain alot

oooggs · 04/02/2008 20:11
