God ellie - Thats shit - hope everything is ok - if there is anything you need then just ask.

You have nothing to worry about - those boys are your life.

Hugs

PillockOfTheCommunity · 04/02/2008 17:07

what do you need to do to the house? Emeregency clean up plan for any house viewings for us is - throw everything on floor and surfaces into black bags. Throw black bags in car. Hoover and polish.
Of course - unpacking the bags afterwards is a bit of a nightmare!

Eddas · 04/02/2008 17:12

oh right[thicko emoticon] asda trip tonight anyway so will get supplies in. Although dd says she doesn't like pancakes even though she's never had them! Maybe sil will make her and her cousins some tomorrow Bet she'll eat them if they do I'm going to have them and with syrup

geordiemacminx · 04/02/2008 17:17

Can recommend the aunt bessie cartons of ready mix - looks a bit like a milk carton - had them yesterday - very nice, just like home made ones

PillockOfTheCommunity · 04/02/2008 17:18

I need to do lots
Living room and kitchen not too bad, need to scrub floor in kitchen.
actually, now you've asked that I'm not really sure what I do need to do, except a swift tidy up. It's better than it's been in months!

OP posts:
PillockOfTheCommunity · 04/02/2008 17:19

ready mix cartons not gonna work for taking to work though, no stove, so I'm thinking I'll have to get readymade?

OP posts:
NorthernLurker · 04/02/2008 17:20

That's good - well done. I'm sure it will be ok - I think they have to respond to any reports - doesn't mean they have made any conclusions already - and you are such a good mother to your lovely boys. Try not to worry.

NorthernLurker · 04/02/2008 17:21

Oh sorry - pancakes - yes - when we did them for toddler group I bought packets of the frozen ones - which are ready made

mammyjo · 04/02/2008 17:47

pillock. That is bloody ridiculous. At least you have some ammunition against him in as much as he reported you without even seeing your boys or your house, and also he failed to turn up for an appointment when all three of you had gone to meet him. Apologies for the language I am about to use, but what a fucking arsehole bastard
Not sure that there would be anything I could do to help you, but if there is something then please do let me know.

Sexonlegs · 04/02/2008 18:08

Evening all.

POTC, I echo MJ. What an absolute tosser. Again I know I am not v close to you geographically, but if there is anything I can do...

CD, hope dd2 is better soon; sounds like a nightmare for you atm.

Eddas, good for you for taking a sickie! Hope you make a stash of money.

Hope everyone is ok. Have been reading the posts but no time to write anything.

All ok here, but dh away again tonight and not back untl late tomorrow, so running around like a blue arse fly as you can tell from me being on here !

Will be back after the girlies are in bed. x

AngeG · 04/02/2008 18:22

POTC - Am in total agreement with MJ and SOL etc, infact I had a much stronger word to use, but I won't.
Haven't caught up properly yet, but will later xx

Pesha · 04/02/2008 18:22

OMFG Ellie what a fucking @*&% (trying to be good but ykwim!) Cannot believe it. Who the fuck is he anyway, what sort of housing guy and how the hell is he qualified to report your kids?!

You really have nothing to worry about, you have 2 fabulously happy boys, theres nothing wrong with them and any fool can see that. Obviously a certain complete fuckwit cant but any fool can! What alot of hassle and stress you dont need though.

AngeG · 04/02/2008 18:25

X posts Pesha, those were the words I was thinking too!

I agree with Pesha your boys are happy and well looked after, how dare he report you.

Try not to stress too much about.

CaptainDippy · 04/02/2008 18:56

Do you need character witnesses!!!!!?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 04/02/2008 19:03

If I do I'm not sure that "yes scary SS lady, I am a good mummy, there's 50+ internet weirdos mummies can testify, but they all call me Pillock" will really help my case

Just been to docs, I have to renew my driving licence every 3 years, I have a new gp and he wanted me to go in to do the form with him because he's never met me (he has, twice in fact, but with the boys). I'm thinking this must be some different form cos the old guy never called me in. It was 5 boxes, yes/no and he had a letter from my consultant in front of him telling him i was fit to drive. twonk!

cazboldy · 04/02/2008 19:08

omg Ellie that's horrendous....I completely echo what all of the others have said.....sooo for you and your 2 boys!

didn't get a moment to talk last night, and haven't even seen dh today yet, but he told the man that he would ring him in a couple of days, so methinks tonight is the night. [worried emoticon]

I have found an ok house (well better than the other one) about 5 houses further down the road.....it's a new build 4 bedrooms seperate dining room, study, lounge, larger garden, utility room etc etc but it is £850 a month to rent.......................

cazboldy · 04/02/2008 19:10

pmsl laughing Ellie.....though no joking matter iykwim

they won't need charcter witnesses.......as someone said earlier...any fool can see how happy and healthy your lovely boys are

PillockOfTheCommunity · 04/02/2008 19:12

OP posts:
